The room itself is very spacious, but after class it was a bit chaotic. The instructor (cannot remember the name unfortunately) was very good and was paying attention to the group but also provided individual feedback when a person was not properly following the movements. Bring your own mat and towels so you don't get charged $ for them.

It's clear that she really knows her stuff. I attended on Classpass ,and the class itself was 16 credits which honestly, is kind of a lot, but I would still say it's worth it. The class was a bit fast pace, so I'd say it's leaning toward the intermediate end of beginner. However, it's a nice push for the body-rounding strength postures with breathing techniques. The cold lavender towel at the end is also a really nice touch. It's a really beautiful studio. The locker rooms are modern and sleek. Definitely one to check out for hot yoga fans and enthusiasts alike.

I have had several great experiences at Lyons Den power yoga in Chelsea. The first time I had a…read morehard time locating it but once you get over that, it's totally fine. The space is straightforward. The lobby is a little bit tight if the classes packed, but generally speaking everything that you need is here and the facility is extremely clean. They have lockers that have a lock included for personal belongings. Lyons Den has been around for such a long time (longer than most studios), so I do tend to trust their teachers a lot more in the heat, and they all seem to have a really strong Teacher training background. I also received some decent hands on assists here. I do look forward to the next time I get to come here, thank you so much!

She keeps a watchful eye on everyone and calls people out in a good way ("Rachel, lean forward", "three of you stop looking at your watch"). I have come to this studio two other times and while the sequence is consistent, the experience varies based on the instructor's energy and the music they choose. Sarah is great too. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Mats and blocks are cleaned after each use. It's expensive. A drop-in class was $35 and included towels a month ago when I last visited NYC, and now it's $38 plus $5.50 towel rental fee.

This was the final Manhattan location, and in many ways it felt like the most charming. Even as so much of Lower Manhattan changed, this stretch of Tribeca always felt unusually quiet, residential, and permanent. I cherished walking to early morning classes through nearly empty streets before the city fully woke up. If NoHo was the heart of Yoga Vida, Tribeca felt like its most understated expression. It was the chic, sophisticated younger cousin: deeply committed to its craft, somewhat reclusive, and perfectly comfortable operating away from the spotlight. It probably wasn't the first Yoga Vida location you'd visit, but for many people, I suspect it became one of the most memorable. The space itself fit the neighborhood perfectly. The street-level windows with curtains gave it a private feel, while the exposed steel X added a bit of industrial New York character. Some people occasionally criticized it, but I never understood why. It had virtually no impact on the class experience, yet it made the room feel distinctive. Because the studio was both smaller and newer, the infrared heating system worked especially well. Winter classes here were incredibly cozy. One thing I appreciated was the range of teachers and class experiences. During peak hours, some of Yoga Vida's most experienced instructors taught packed classes that felt both polished and quintessentially Tribeca. At quieter times, newer and rising teachers were given opportunities in that same prestigious room. The studio even hosted instructors from other cities, including Philadelphia. That willingness to develop talent always felt consistent with Yoga Vida's culture. My favorite mornings often ended with a walk to Gotan for a scrambled cheddar biscuit, hot sauce, and a coffee after class. It became one of those simple New York rituals that seem insignificant at the time but grow more meaningful in memory. There was also something uniquely full circle about this location for me. My 13-year run living below 23rd Street began at 40 Harrison Street in Tribeca and, in many ways, ended practicing here. I didn't realize it at the time, but it was a fitting final chapter. Looking back, this was likely my last Yoga Vida chapter before COVID and before life changed in a hundred different ways. I'm grateful I got to experience it when I did. A wonderful studio in a wonderful neighborhood. Gracias!

This is Yoga Vida's smallest location. Only one studio, two small bathrooms and two small changing…read morerooms. The studio itself though is quite large. Despite the small size, the studio maintains the same calm and cool vibe that all the other locations have. It's always stocked well with Yoga props, blankets, blocks and straps and everything in the studio is very clean. Even though hot classes are offered here, I never smell that hot yoga, nasty sweat smell. Highly recommend Yoga Vida.

Instructor asks about previous injuries, if you need help they'll come over. Gone to 2 classes, the regular 1 hour and yin yoga 1 hour. They also have 90 minute classes as well as slow flow for beginners. The regular class is for intermediate to advance, it's not friendly if you're a total newbie because most basic poses are not explained. The yin yoga is beginner friendly with a lot of instruction and easy poses that you hold for a longer duration. Also there's meditation involved. I feel sore from top to bottom after the regular class. On another day after yin yoga I slept better.

Class only had about 5 of us the last time I went, so we got to really spread out. The flows themselves were fairly easy but it was nice to move my body in that familiar way. One thing to note is that Y7 is not your traditional yoga class. The classes are broken down to three vinyasa sequences, each repeated three times. The first time, the instructor will slowly breakdown each pose. The second time, you will repeat the sequence but it'll be sped up to link one breath to one movement. The third time, you can free flow. I'm not the biggest fan of this structure but it's nice to switch it up every once in a while. The studio itself is not much to write home about. They have mats and towels for rent and some lockers to store your belongings. They have limited showers and restrooms so if you need a shower after class, it can be bit of a wait. Otherwise, it's a small and straightforward set up: come in, take the class, and leave. Give it a try!

There are locker rooms and showers on site. The front desk offers mats, mat towels, face towels, shower towels, and after class chilled lavender towels that are passed around the room. I really love the variety of classes here, including a sculpt class I took, HIIT with weights (like this but less yoga and more cardio bursts), the classic ID, and more. I wish they had more variety in class lengths as sometimes I'm really just feeling a 45 minute, but nonetheless this has become one of my go-to studios in Manhattan. The instructors are really cool here as well!

The studio is on the 3rd floor and has two fitness rooms and locker rooms by gender. Only downside, there are two showers, so there was a wait after class for the shower. I say this more as a heads up than a deterrent. The studio has an intro special going on right now - two weeks of unlimited classes for $95 (mats and towels included) or one intro class for $20.
