I love this spot! Parking can be a bit of a frenzy and it can be crowded inside. The plaza can be packed with construction. People are right about the sweat can be everywhere since it is warm. I do like the flows of the classes and how intense it can be. It makes for good exercise. My free trial went very swimmingly and the teachers are really nice. If you don't mind being a bit tight in the class, it's really fun to work out with other people. read more

They have high pressure showers unlike highlands CPY. I think CPY foothill and highland share workers. Which means they go to either highlands or foothill or trilley square. I am not sure, but my point was i encountered rude employees both in highland and foothill. I am not coming back! read more

I want to preface this by saying I love CorePower as a whole, I think their classes are great, they offer a ton of class options and times ranging from 5am-9pm. I didn't have the best experience at this particular studio recently. I did a free weeklong trial at CorePower to try out all their studio spaces. I had great experiences at Trolley Square and Highland, but my experience at Foothill didn't leave me wanting to come back to this location. It was my first time here, and it was insanely busy. They have multiple classes happening at a time, and there are so many people in each class. I did a Yoga Sculpt class, but because it was so busy in the studio, the people at the front desk didn't have much time to give me a tour or show me some of the nuances of the studio space - where towels are, how many weights are needed, etc. The class itself was great and challenging, but the instructor didn't have a mic. I'm not sure if that was personal preference, but it was difficult to hear her cues and instructions without a mic in a big space. As others have mentioned, the rooms are packed like sardines, which can be difficult in a hot yoga class, especially a class like Yoga Sculpt where there is a lot of sweating and moving around. The space itself also felt a little cramped when everyone was exiting the class, trying to get their personal items, put shoes on, etc. read more

Was lucky enough to be in SLC and have time for some yoga! Lo was my instructor for core power 2 at 9am. She was FANTASTIC! I love her soothing voice and challenging moves. Has a different twist to the classes I take in Los Angeles. The room was huge and appreciated the taped markers for Mat placement which allows everyone to see themselves in the mirror. Staff was friendly and locker room was clean! Hope to be back for another class! read more

I tried the free week of classes at this location. The first class I went to followed a hot yoga class; they didn't clean the floors in between. I went to set my mat down and it fell in a pool of sweat...I gave them two more chances and had somewhat better experiences, however, the lack of room, temperature control, and sanitary conditions leave much to be desired. I love this studio! This place has such a good environment with the nicest teachers and staff. I love the class choices and can always find a good workout. I specifically love the heat and humidity of the HPF classes. Those classes help me get through winter. I finally decided to post this review for anyone who is questioning your membership being "worth the money." I started my membership in May 2018. I became pretty dedicated to my practice after noticing results early on. Even after one week I just started feeling "better." (Try the free first week.) The fact that you're reading these reviews right now shows that you're looking for something to change. I'm not saying what I do will work for everyone. But it works for me. Seriously. So If you are having doubts about the membership being too expensive or "worth it" I'll just leave these photos here and say this has been and will continue to be worth every penny, every minute, and every drop of sweat. The after photo was taken 5 months after starting Core Power. The before photo is honestly hard for me to look at :/ but maybe it will give you the push you've been needing?. :)! I try to go 3-6 times a week. At least one sculpt. At least one restore and once a week I try to do a 2-A-Day (maybe a sculpt + restore or HPF + restore). I love Diana's and Lauren C's sculpt classes. Kacie's restore class on Monday nights are a MUST in my routine. Any class you attend instructed by Robin will kick your ass in the best possible way. Foothills and highland are my fav locations. The instructors are awesome and friendly and the studios are clean, warm, and welcoming. You won't regret it. read more

A friend and I had an appointment at this place for yoga sculpt an we were super excited because we had loved this class in the other locations. We got to class 10 min earlier even though we were there earlier but we didn't know where the studio was because they haven't updated where the new studio is. The class was completely full and even though there were a few spots where we could fit, people didn't even move. Also, we didn't don't any spot for us and there were more people behind us looking for a spot. Why would I have to make an appointment if I will not find a spot? We went to the desk and told the girl "I think we are leaving because there are not any spots for us" and instead of maybe moving people so everybody could fit there, she said "oh okay bye" when we had already paid for towels and mats. Hot yoga has helped change my mind and body in ways I didn't know it would. The state of euphoria after every class is like nothing I've ever felt before. Great, clean, relaxing studio. I always walk away feeling refreshed. They have ample parking as they are in a big shopping center. They also have showers, hair ties, deodorant, blow dryers, etc. to get ready for wherever you need to go after class. The instructors and staff are extremely friendly. Olivia's C2 classes, Cynthia's sculpt, and some of the C1 classes are my favorite at this studio. The towels at the end of class are a very nice touch. Highly recommend this studio! read more

They offer several great evening classes with options that are accommodating to a busy and sometimes unpredictable schedule. This was my first time doing hot yoga in years. The 60 min class was challenging and the perfect about of time. The instructor was great. Let's just put this out there - I can't touch my toes, I mean not even close - and I go to this yoga studio and love it. I've shyed away from yoga because of fear and intimidation that there were going to be all these amazing yogis judging me and it really can't be further from the truth. The instructors understand that everyone is at different levels and encourage you to modify your practice to the level you are at. Personally I go to the sculpt class which incorporates light weights and HIIT cardio and is meant to challenge you - and it always does! The instructors here are my favorite because they've found that balance of pushing you, encouraging you, and motivating you all without judgement when you need a break and not annoying in-yo-face. As far as results? I was shocked that within a month I had visibly more muscle and tone. If you're like me and were terrified of yoga, give it a shot - first week is free so what do you have to lose?! read more

I went to this location at least 4 times a week when I was living in Salt Lake for school. I have lower back problems and chronic pain in my intestines, so I never thought I would ever get back into practicing yoga until I came here. So I will take this opportunity to rave about the BEST yoga instructor I've ever had. Brooke F. helped me find my way with yoga again. If you've never taken one of her classes, then you are missing out. Her energy is infectious, her sequences and music playlists are carefully thought out, and she was just meant to be a yoga instructor. Her classes were very enjoyable and were easy for me to practice, especially when I was in pain. Because of this, I never took anyone else's classes because I find it difficult to find an instructor who makes exercising enjoyable for my health problems, so I can't speak about any of the other instructors. Whenever Brooke had a bad day in a way to where she would lose her composure, she would tell us about her day and what she learned from it in order to teach us an important life lesson. It was always something I needed to hear, being the college student that I was. Coming to her 9pm classes was always the best part of my day, and CorePower is the main thing I miss about SLC. Yes, the studio is amazing and clean and all that jazz. But if you're in more of an intermediate level of yoga and you are looking for more spiritual purpose in your practice than just a work out, then take one of Brooke's classes.
