I love yoga and was looking for a place after work to check out. The space only has one room and is pretty spacious. If you're new the person at the front will give you a tour. It gets pretty packed fast, everyone is really nice. If you leave a mat or water bottle, they usually have it at lost and found. I hope to come back! read more

This is really nice studio. It's small but they did an excellent job with the flow of it and the space. Bathrooms, locker rooms, showers are clean and organized. It doesn't feel crammed or stuffy. It is comfortable. I had a membership from mid-Jan 2026 to mid-June 2026. The instructors are friendly and approachable. They greet you and try to check in with you and have small talk. My struggles came with class scheduling and cancellations. I have a full-time job plus 2 small children, so I think my individual situation was difficult to manage with their limited class schedules plus cancellations. I think if you have more flexibility in your day and/or no small children, it wouldn't feel as frustrating lol so maybe my experience is unique. First big inconvenience: Not many Hot Power Fusion classes (HPF). They offer one at 8:30 am and then one at 8:15 pm. The morning one I can't attend as I am at work. The evening one was hard to make because I had to rush home after to get the children ready for bed. But I tried to make the evening ones as much as possible. Would be nice if they offered one more HPF somewhere in the day between the other two. Second big inconvenience: When I first joined there would be many class cancellations due to maintenance. It proved to be quite inconvenient since I work mornings (and could not attend those classes) and then the evening classes would be cancelled due to maintenance. There were times where I would go many days without being able to go into class because of lack of options. Third big inconvenience: In March 2026, they temporarily closed the location down for 4 weeks so that they could make repairs/improvements. I had only been part of the studio for 2 months, so I was very disappointed that I now had no access to it. While it was closed, I was allowed to visit the nearest one in Hermosa beach, but that location is 30 minutes away (assuming no traffic). Which didn't work for me. So, for the time it was closed, I placed my membership on pause. That was frustrating. Fourth big inconvenience: Once it reopened in late April, the studio continued to have many evening cancellations. This time it was due to training (before it was due to maintenance). So again, there were less options to attend class because of these training cancellations. I was very frustrated by my experience here. I really enjoyed class once i was in class but to actually find a class that fit my schedule was difficult. Then when I did find a class, it was often cancelled. It affected the quality of my experience, so I eventually cancelled altogether and found another local studio that works better for me. read more

i had the opportunity to sign up for a yoga class at corepower in the crossroads. the studio is so welcoming! there is cubbies to put your belongings or lockers if you prefer. in the women's lounge, there are showers avail, i am assuming it is the same for the men's side. there is ice and water avail, along with tea packets. merch is also avail to purchase, i saw a few different brands like beyond yoga, lululemon, rhone and vuori. i signed up for sculpt yoga , yea no. this was not for me lol. the energy was def there. the instructors were great! i prefer the corepower 1 & 2 classes.. parking: no issues with parking. read more

If you are looking for a great workout Yoga Sculpt is the class for you. Corepower offers a variety of classes that will make you feel great while doing it and after the class has finished. Personally love Hot Power Fusion (HPF) it does get very hot I'd say max 107 degrees. They do offer classes without heat, if heated yoga is not your thing. Every instructor is so kind and makes sure you are enjoying the class. They have showers and lockers too which I found to be extremely helpful if I take a class before work. There is always parking, so need to stress about that. George and Adam are my favorite instructors they are so kind and helpful with assisting if needed. read more

I grew up in the South Bay and had been to CorePower years prior to support a friend who was a teacher at a different location. I hadn't been to another CorePower since, so I decided to go. First class was great, but on my second class, I set my mat next to a man who kept sweating on to the floor and making obnoxious breathing sounds I felt so grossed out that I walked out of class as soon as I could. There should be more signs for people to be courteous about cleaning after their sweat and minimizing their noise. If they have difficulty breathing normally, I don't think they should be doing any hot yoga! read more

I tried the free week offer and was super nervous and had borderline mild to severe anxiety driving there. I'm not a lover of that "fit life" but I certainly have been gaining some yelp weight so I figured I didn't have anything to lose (except yelp weight) and that I should just give it a try. So glad I did! The check-in process was a breeze, once your entered into the system you're given a membership card you can attach to your keys. In the lobby there's a retail section you can purchase yoga gear, mats, water bottles, sprays, books, etc. Their locker room is well stocked with tampons, q-tips, mouthwash, Kleenex. Coming from a traditional yoga studio background, I was a little hesitant to try CorePower Yoga--I worried it might feel more like a "gym vibe" and be too intense for me. I decided to start with a C1 class with Letizia on Tuesday at 11am. Since I've always been unsure about "hot yoga," I appreciated that C1 is their gentler option. The room was warm (about 80 to 85 degrees, as the teacher mentioned), but not overwhelming. In fact, the warmth helped my muscles relax, and the pleasantly dim lighting made it easier to turn inward and focus. It was a beautiful flow, and I left feeling grounded. I'll definitely be going back weekly--this is the "me time" I've been needing. I also tried an online CoreRestore class on Friday at 10am with (I believe) Sun as the instructor. It was just 30 minutes, but the perfect reset to head into the weekend. I love having the flexibility to practice in-studio or at home, depending on what I need. I am so glad I found this studio. I had surgeries a few years back and ever since I haven't been motivated to do organized workouts. I saw a free week of classes and their app makes it easy to navigate the different classes so I said screw it! Lets try. And now, I'm hooked. Im not sure about the previous reviews that said the heat wasn't working because every class I have attended has been nice and hot! The teachers are very helpful at explaining the classes if you are unsure of which to try. I would just suggest to the owners to maybe limit the number of people as the evening weekday classes are always packed! But, besides that it is nice that there is always availability and you don't have to cancel a full 24 hrs in advance (minimum 2 hrs or they charge you which is fair) like many other places which is VERY helpful for my busy schedule. I love that CorePower offers a free week to try them out, so I definitely wanted to take advantage to compare it to the hot yoga studio where I usually attend. I actually live in Long Beach, so this location is a little bit of a trek for me. However, this is the closest location to me. For my week of hot yoga, I was able to take a class from Yenly, Sofia, and Sarah. I like that it's pretty much "first come, first serve" when it comes to reserving your spot - so no assigned seating like some places. Depending on what the class is, the sequence they use is pretty much the same which is something new to me. So for most of the classes I took within that week, they were mainly CorePower Yoga 2. By the third day, I pretty much knew what to expect with the sequence. The facility is nice and clean. I appreciated that towards the end of class, Sarah passed out wipes to each person who wanted to disinfect their blocks. Definitely nice for some of us who may be pressed for time before work or whatever. It is smaller than what I am used to, since there's only one studio available. So because of that, there aren't many options available that fit my sporadic work schedule, which meant I only pretty much had the option of just trying Yoga 2. The staff is friendly. The parking is free in the plaza shared with other businesses. The only complaint I really have is the refill water station. One of the days, I came straight after work and had finished all my cold water from 2am earlier that day that was in my Stanley. I refilled my water at the station, and the water was luke warm and grainy. It was very off-putting, especially going into a heated yoga sesh. I know some may say that room temperature water is good for you, but honestly, on a hot summer day and after a hot yoga sesh, I'd definitely prefer cold water to quench my thirst. I know it's bad, but I ended up feeling dehydrated in class that day because I refused to drink the water. So I definitely recommend brining your own water to class, or at least buying a bottle before attending! read more

I got a gift card for $500 before covid so I was really excited to start going to CorePower again! I come to this location pretty regularly and really love some of the instructors! Unfortunately, every single time I try to pay for a drop in class, no one knows how to redeem it and it really dampens my experience. Today, I tried to pay for my boyfriend's drop in class with my gift card and the manager had the WORST attitude. She didn't seem to know how to redeem the gift card. I told her what previous employees have done. Me: I think they usually click "pre-paid gift card" and scan my gift card then I'm emailed a receipt. This manager rolled her eyes and questioned if I can even use my gift card to pay for my bf. Why would that even be a problem?! I've done it before when I've brought friends to CPY at this location and others. The manager processed the payment fine after doing what I told her to do but her demeanor was HORRIBLE. I have been to numerous CorePower locations over the years and this was an odd corepower 2 class. Normally the temperature should be between 90 and 98, and there is a sign posted in the class. and For this class most instructors keep the class at around 94. I am pregnant and while the teacher was aware she said the max she keeps the class is 98 and half the time the class was 99 or 100°. She was adjusting the temperature the entire class. You would think with someone visibly pregnant in the class you would try to accommodate her while still being in range with the expectations of the rest of the class, but this teacher did the exact opposite. I have been practicing yoga throughout pregnancy in some heated settings modifying as needed, which is been cleared by my doctor, but this teacher was exceptionally unaccommodating in this very delicate situation, which would not have any impact on the experience for the rest of class. :( read more

I used to love coming to this place. I was going there on and off for 3 years. It was the most clean and spacious hot yoga. Recently they failed for maintaining cleaning. Also hot water was off for months. From beginning of 2024, their heater is not working and classroom smell like sewage. Teacher had to use small heaters to heat up room. Unfortunately it did not work and makes it worst. I have no complaints about teachers they are the most professional and kind people. It was the only reason i tried to go there after things broke apart. Also they raised all access memberships fee to $199 for month. With a price raise and classroom quality i had to stop going there. Since they raise membership prices i would expect more quality service and clean classroom. I hate to say this but it was really frustrating experience!!!! read more

I love coming to CorePower! I've gone a few times with their free week trials and really enjoyed the Yoga Sculpt classes, but I just couldn't bite the bullet and pay for the monthly membership. This past Black Friday, they had a 25% off sale and I thought this would be the best time and deal for a membership, so I committed (which allows you to visit any studio that they have!). Since I purchased the membership, I have been going diligently every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I will say, the sculpt classes are meant to kick your butt. It's focused on toning muscles, but I've learned that class structure and focus vary based on instructor and studio location. In Westwood, the classes are more jumpy and to the beat of the music, whereas this Torrance location is less so and more focused on form and finding your own pace. I go to Yenly, and she's great. Her classes are really hard, and I always feel like I'm getting a full body workout in with her. I also really like George N., who seems to incorporate more yoga into his practice (especially in the beginning) but also ensures that I get a full body workout in. When you sign up for a class, make sure to bring a yoga mat, towel, and water bottle (although the first two can be rented for a small fee). I would also recommend bringing another sweat towel to soak up your sweat throughout the workout. The check-in process is super easy -- you just give them your name. The locker room is really clean, and they have showers and a few amenities that you can use before and after the class. I've always loved the community at this studio. Everyone does the workouts at their own pace, and a lot of the regulars encourage each other throughout the workout to motivate each other. It also helps that the instructor is often shouting motivating phrases at you. Definitely check this place out, and take advantage of the free week trial! With the 25% off discount on the membership, I think Corepower is totally worth it. The price is comparable to a lot of gym rates (at least in Los Angeles), and I really enjoy the structured class instead of having to come up with my own workouts at a regular gym. Although the studio is beautiful, the true gem of this place is the instructor, Nikki Ok. Of all the yoga classes that I've taken, she is by far the best in the game! Whether you take her C2 or Hot Power Fusion class, you get a full body workout and feel a sense of serenity. It almost feels as if beams of energy are radiating off of your body at the end of class. I love this place so much! I have never been a yoga person before, but this place, their instructors, the vibe, all of it, have changed me. I'm getting the best workouts and am straight up addicted to it. All of their instructors are really great! Yenly is a great instructor. She is the component of what makes her classes amazing! I am a beginner's beginner in Yoga, but she made a good workout actually FUN. Yes, I sweated a bunch-so not "easy", but I kept going with her encouragement. Never felt judged. You can rest if you want. She keeps the class going with a perfect mix of music to get you moving, encourages with positive remarks, and adds meditations of gratitude to wind down. Being so new to Yoga, I was unsure if I could make it an entire hour, yet kept going for the additional 15 minutes because I didn't want to miss out on anything. After 3 classes, I felt different inside and out and now will continue. Tenley is truly inspirational. So glad to have experienced her classes, as well as meeting her as a wonderful person to know. "Hot Power Fusion" is evidently the hottest yoga class they offer here, (temperature-wise). First time I took part of this class, I could barely handle the heat. Second time around, it was better. I didn't need to take a "breather" and step outside; actually stayed put! By all means, I am not a professional yogi. Just an occasional one, learning the moves as they go along. When in doubt, I gaze my eyes around and see what others are doing. :) So far, I am enjoying CorePower's tranquil environment along with sweat drenching from my body due to the high heat! Hi I signed up for a class here and drove 30 minutes. I couldn't find the studio as it is in a huge parking lot and there is no number to call where you can get a hold of a live person. I arrived at 12:50 and a woman who was extremely unfriendly and unwelcoming opened the door and said she would not allow me to take the class. She said they have a two minute grace period and it would be "extremely disruptive" to let me into class. Really just 5 minutes?! They are not human at this studio and are cold unfriendly and unwelcoming. Most studios have at least a 5 minute grace period. Please go somewhere else! read more

I started going to Corepower Torrance shortly after restrictions were lifted post Covid....and like all yoga studios it was a little depressing. But...fast forward to today and it is just incredible what Raquel has done in a pretty short time to rebuild the studio, hire amazing teachers and bring the yoga community back together again! it seems like every time I turn around she's hired a new wonderful teacher...and more smiles fly around the studio than ever before... I'm trying to understand why the teachers don't enforce the no phones in the room policy. There were multiple people in the class with their phones and one persons phone started ringing. So disrespectful. The teachers could at least remind their students about no phone policy. In addition to that there was a women obnoxiously chewing gum throughout the entire hour. I mean open mouth lip smacking. It was heinous and ruined the class for me. The lack of self awareness from the attendees is astounding. The teachers are lovely nonetheless this review really isn't about them. I would do yourself a favor and go support a small business instead of going here. read more

My first experience with taking a yoga class was very disappointing so when I purchased another Groupon deal I was very nervous. However I heard good things about this studio from two friends. The deal I bought was $59 for one month of unlimited classes ($175 Value). If you're a new student you get an additonal one week for free. So far I'm in my third week of the deal and have been to six classes and two different types of classes. Their schedule for one day starts at 6AM and stretches to 8:45PM, about 10 classes in the day. CorePower Yoga 1 class is perfect for beginners like myself. The instructors always try to be aware of new students and give them more attention. It's a pretty popular class on Mondays because it is free to anyone so get there early. The studio itself is pretty spacious and has the antibacterial flooring. The locker room and showers are kept clean but it is a little snug. Once my Groupon deal is over I will be maintaining my membership here. Yoga has been a new addiction! read more

I just finished my first class here today. I know in will be back for more!! Everyone here is very friendly -- that's including students and instructors. I attended a C2 class "core power yoga 2" with Sophia. It was a longer session, 75 min which I liked and by the way the time flew by! It was the right level of challenging for me. I worked up a sweat which can be hard at times and didn't have the need for any long breaks. She was great. What I like about it here is the instructor will help you find proper form if he or she sees fitting and I appreciate that. The studio is very clean. Bathrooms are very nice and accommodating. Bathrooms always seem to really reflect the care and attention of any establishment. I definitely recommend this studio for anyone, beginners or expert yogis. After taking a Sofia J class, all I want to do is take her C2. I am into yoga for more of the physical aspects of strengthening and lengthening my muscular structure and she DELIVERS. I get extremely turned off when people attempt to try to get spiritual but just end up derailing my focus. Sofia is one of the few instructors that completely relaxes my mind with her precision of word choice. If you get nitpicky when instructor botched their left and right and want to be able to fully tune out and be truly guided to a state of physical euphoria -take a Sofia J class. read more
