While there, I was lucky enough…read moreto find a studio that had so much to offer in every way (instruction style, class variety, scheduling options, studio amenities and cleanliness, easy parking, you name it--they nailed it), that I stayed hyper-loyal to them the entire time I lived there. I even did my 200 YTT training and certification with them! That place was like my second home filled with a rotation of chosen family. Once I moved back home to the South Bay, I knew I'd have a lot more options in terms of studios and styles, but that meant I would have to really shop around and play yoga tourist until I found a good fit. As much as I love yoga, I wasn't looking forward to this process. I didn't want to feel like the stranger, the noob, the clueless casual. I've now taken three classes at 423 Yoga (Yoga Sculpt with Melody, 90 Minute Vinyasa with Jill, and Hot Power with Lori), and I can say with a ton of confidence that this just might be my new home studio. Each of these amazing instructors offered an experience that was completely new to me in some way. I had a lightbulb "Aha!" moment in each class that ushered a breakthrough either in deepening a posture, activating a forgotten muscle, or releasing tension. I've taken hundreds and hundreds of classes (hot, yin, vinyasa, barre, sculpt, F.I.T., weighted yoga, etc.) and what kept me hooked into a regular practice was the daily reset that meant I might feel like Final Boss Yogi one day, and Newborn Baby Deer the next. I was surprised all the time. This type of surprise is a feature of a high quality studio with engaged instructors who don't see this as just another job. They live and breathe it, so their classes feel alive and valuable. In my opinion, Yoga should never feel overly predictable or like a snooze. The classes at 423 kept me locked in, focused, and completely in my breath and body. Class attendance has been on the smaller side, which I love. Overcrowded, loud, heated studios can be way overstimulating, and 423 doesn't feel like that at all. I want to let out a sigh of relief when I arrive, which is exactly what they delivered. The other yogis in attendance have been friendly and welcoming, which is also a plus. The variety of in-house equipment they let everyone use is impressive, and especially so since everyone does their part to actually sanitize each piece after it's used. This is SO rare! I also love that they have a big parking garage. This is such a huge plus anywhere in LA. TLDR: 423 Yoga is doing everything right, and I think I love them for it.

It doesn't feel crammed or stuffy. It is comfortable. I had a membership from mid-Jan 2026 to mid-June 2026. The instructors are friendly and approachable. They greet you and try to check in with you and have small talk. My struggles came with class scheduling and cancellations. I have a full-time job plus 2 small children, so I think my individual situation was difficult to manage with their limited class schedules plus cancellations. I think if you have more flexibility in your day and/or no small children, it wouldn't feel as frustrating lol so maybe my experience is unique. First big inconvenience: Not many Hot Power Fusion classes (HPF). They offer one at 8:30 am and then one at 8:15 pm. The morning one I can't attend as I am at work. The evening one was hard to make because I had to rush home after to get the children ready for bed. But I tried to make the evening ones as much as possible. Would be nice if they offered one more HPF somewhere in the day between the other two. Second big inconvenience: When I first joined there would be many class cancellations due to maintenance. It proved to be quite inconvenient since I work mornings (and could not attend those classes) and then the evening classes would be cancelled due to maintenance. There were times where I would go many days without being able to go into class because of lack of options. Third big inconvenience: In March 2026, they temporarily closed the location down for 4 weeks so that they could make repairs/improvements. I had only been part of the studio for 2 months, so I was very disappointed that I now had no access to it. While it was closed, I was allowed to visit the nearest one in Hermosa beach, but that location is 30 minutes away (assuming no traffic). Which didn't work for me. So, for the time it was closed, I placed my membership on pause. That was frustrating. Fourth big inconvenience: Once it reopened in late April, the studio continued to have many evening cancellations. This time it was due to training (before it was due to maintenance). So again, there were less options to attend class because of these training cancellations. I was very frustrated by my experience here. I really enjoyed class once i was in class but to actually find a class that fit my schedule was difficult. Then when I did find a class, it was often cancelled. It affected the quality of my experience, so I eventually cancelled altogether and found another local studio that works better for me.

It gets pretty packed fast, everyone is really nice. If you leave a mat or water bottle, they usually have it at lost and found. I hope to come back!

A class was finishing up but the studio is very clean and for me self explanatory. So I put all my stuff in the cubbies provided, self-checked in on the Ipad, and waited for the class to finish. My first class was with Brittany and she did briefly explain the reformer to me, but I told her I had used a reformer before so I didn't need a thorough explanation. There was another girl in my class who was new so she helped her. The LIT class, which is their entry beginner class, I will say is a pretty good workout. I liked that even in the LIT class Brittany gave you the option if you wanted to do a higher level of weight/work for more of a challenge. The space is very clean, the reformers are in great working shape, and decorated more trendy. I enjoyed the music here (but if you are looking more for an experience where its playing more elevator type music then I would say this studio is not for you). Another thing I like about this studio is the variety of different classes like the cardio-jump board class, straps, classic pilates, etc. I took a jump board class with Allie and it was a great workout! Allie was also super sweet. I'll be back!

I recently froze my membership, which costs $15, and called customer service because I was confused by conflicting emails about when I would be charged the full amount again. Unfortunately, my experience with the representative left me frustrated. While I was trying to explain my confusion, I sensed irritation from the representative because they seemed confused about why I was confused. This made me feel dismissed and added to my frustration. I had to explain myself multiple times, and while I eventually understood the policy, the interaction could have been handled with more patience and understanding. That said, I do want to acknowledge that I've had positive experiences overall. The instructors are great, the classes are well-structured, and the amenities are excellent. I've also usually had good interactions with the front desk staff. This particular experience doesn't reflect my typical experience with the studio, but I do hope customer service interactions can be improved with more empathy and clarity in the future. read more

I had the most incredible experience at Yoga Six for the sound bath and Reiki session with Amanda and Chloe. The studio itself was pristine, soft, warm, and so inviting, it immediately set the tone for relaxation. Everything I needed was provided, mats, bolsters, and all the little touches that made me feel completely supported and comfortable. Chloe facilitated the sound bath with such love, kindness, and gentleness. Her presence was calming, and it was clear she came with a message, vision, and intention that carried beautifully through the entire session. Amanda's Reiki added an extra layer of healing and depth that made the experience feel truly transformative. I left feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply restored. I recently started my yoga journey at YogaSix Rolling Hills and it's been an incredible experience so far! As a noob, I was a bit nervous, but the variety of classes like "Sculpt and Flow", "HOT", "Slow Flow", and "Restore" have been fantastic and accommodating for all levels. The "front office" staff are welcoming and helpful, making me feel comfortable from the moment I step in. The class instructors are truly awesome - they're patient, encouraging, and really know their stuff. I've become sort of hooked on yoga now and plan to try all the classes at least once. I'm hopeful that with their help, I'll be able to get in better shape. I'm not aiming to look like an Adonis, but losing about 10 lbs would be great! I'm not sure how this place can call itself a boutique studio. I really want to believe it's a good fit for me so have tried 5+ classes, and every time I have come to regret it. The main problem is that the studio allows 30+ people into a relatively small space. Mats end up less than a foot apart - this time I could only find a spot backed up on the door, had to keep part of mat rolled up, and couldn't straighten any of my limbs. For restorative yoga this is obviously a prohibitive problem lol. Sure the staff members are nice and the instruction is decent/standard YogaSix, but how does that matter if you're crammed in like sardines and you can't see the instructor anyway. This studio is truly a gem. I've taken their Slow Flow, Signature Hot, Restore, and Power Flow classes, and each one has been amazing. My favorite is the Signature Hot - it's always such a grounding and energizing experience. YogaSix is so welcoming to all levels, and the staff are incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I always feel supported here. The space is clean, thoughtfully maintained, and filled with little touches of care, like refreshing cold towels after class. The energy is uplifting, yet calming - it feels like a safe haven where I can fully unwind and recharge. Don't judge a book by its cover nor a Pilates studio by one class, but in this case I must!…read more What a delightful morning class with Mary Kay! Seems like there is a regular core of folks in each class but enough space for new folks to come and in. None of the clique-y vibe of some similar group class studios, either. Ample parking in front free lot, which us good as the room has more than a half dozen reformers plus a cadillac. Group classes combine a bit of floor (when I attended it was mainly a few stretches and prep for the reformers more complex balancing so nearly all of class was on the bed) with reformer. You'll want pilates socks for this studio. They have a smart and tidy method of giving each class attendee a plastic bin to put each person's personal goodies in then return at end of class. Keeps things tidy and clean! Music was a mix of newer pop, country etc. not very loudly played which was nice. Just enough to focus when things got tough. Pilates is like that: seems easy but the workout sneaks up on you in intensity. I found this studio through ClassPass, which was nice as I wouldn't have discovered it in a drive by, tucked away as it is. Mary Kay was delightful and welcoming. TL/dr: low key but strong energy at this local Pilates studio

Read the contract and ask questions before you sign up...if I had known I was going to be charged…read more$15 every time I had to cancel or miss a session, there is NO WAY I would have joined. I work, and I have to do overtime on occasion...overtime means I get NO advanced notice to notify the studio, so being penalized for it is theft in my opinion. I'm not a stay at home mom with tons of free time, so dinging me with an extra financial charge for not being able to attend a class is unacceptable and bad business. I NEVER attended a class, therefore I thought canceling my membership wouldn't be an issue...NOT SO. They wouldn't refund me initially; I prepaid unlimited sessions at $3000. They eventually agreed to refund me, BUT, took just under $300, for what I have no idea. I was never given a reason for taking this amount of money...possibly a "we're pissed to lose $3k, so we're going to punish you for canceling your membership. Regardless, I'm glad I canceled because it shows me how unprofessional this business is...stealing almost $300 from me for absolutely no reason. Buyer beware!!!

The workouts themselves are challenging, effective, and something I genuinely enjoyed. After that, I signed up and eventually started attending classes on my own. As someone who was still new to barre, it took a lot of courage to go alone. Unfortunately, during two separate classes with two different instructors, I struggled to keep up. The instructors did help and reposition me, which I appreciated, but I continued to struggle, and in one of the classes, the instructor laughed, which made me feel self-conscious and discouraged as a beginner. While I understand classes can be lighthearted, in that moment it felt uncomfortable rather than supportive. After experiencing something similar again with a different instructor, it became discouraging and made me feel like this might continue happening. What ultimately led me to explore other options wasn't the workout itself, but the feeling of being judged during class. Fitness environments should feel encouraging, especially for people who are new or still building confidence. I did have a positive experience with one instructor who was very helpful, but she primarily taught Define or Empower classes, which felt too advanced for me compared to Classic, since I was still new to barre. Because of these experiences, I decided to try another studio where I felt more comfortable and eventually canceled my membership here.
