Dive. I definitely got a rapey vibe from the male guests. Food is typical bar food. Inexpensive and large portions. Loud.

Stopped by during a brief trip in Bend at the peak of the buildup to the eclipse. Corey's has the feel of a townie bar where everyone already kind of knows each other, but is still welcoming for people like me just coming off the street. Their limited nighttime menu is still good (all fried foods and some sliders) and their wings are not the usual Buffalo style, but are still tasty (and are identical to those served at Jake's in West Lafayette, Indiana .... an obscure Purdue reference, sorry). The drinks are cheap, but the real win here is karaoke. Get there early and put in a song request as soon as possible (or handsomely tip the DJ). But, even if you don't get to your song, expect a handful of real stellar performances from locals - I saw one woman absolutely crush "Radar Love" by Golden Earring - and some truly horrible covers as well. But, it's a good time and everyone leaves smiling. read more

It's a great dive bar to spend time, have a strong drink and meet some of the locals. I would not expect anything different from a crowd that gambles and like to meet their neighbors. If you are not familiar with bend you would meet some great characters and a different experience from the other side of the bar. And yes this is definitely not a wait on your table service. Let me start by saying that this is one of our favorite breakfast spots in town, food is great and the atmosphere is laid back.That being said, Corey's constant struggle is not enough wait staff. Just about every time we've been here there's only been 1 server and they are constantly overwhelmed, running between order taking, pick up window, the bar. They're apologizing for the wait and one time explained their slow service was due to another breakfast spot being closed. If you want a quick in & out experience, don't come here, but if you're looking to eat & watch the game for awhile, this is your place. It would be great if management would support their servers & cooks a bit better. read more

Let's talk about the food in this place. They serve a good breakfast. My son always has chicken fried steak and Corey's serves a generous, mouth-watering portion. My husband always orders a la carte so he can finish what I always order which is usually an omlette. Now I'm picky about my eggs. They can neither be brown nor slimy and they do them just right in this place. read more

Oh man do I love Corey's. I don't live in Bend anymore, but when I visit, I go to Corey's. The bartenders are legit and super nice. The drinks are cheap and well-made. I don't pretend to understand the appeal of video poker, so I could do without that aspect of the bar. The last time I went there on a Sunday night there was Karaoke with Big John. I kind of hate karaoke, but this was fantastic. There was a gentleman who whistled rather than sang, and I was delighted. I found this place on yelp during our visit to bend while searching for dive bars lol. I We thought this place was great won a few bucks on video poker and four beers only rang in at $17.25. The bartender was very nice and we enjoyed our visit. read more

This is a very fun dive bar with pool table and little hang out area out back. It is a bit tiny, and there is only one pool table and not much seating. Not sure what the food is about, in no hurry to try it out. But they serve all the good beers and have a juke box so fun bar to stop in for a drink. read more

Unbelievable that the owner would allow a child in the establishment. Its a pretty dark and dingy bar no place for a child, another patron almost spilt beer on the poor thing. Pretty sure it was the managers child but either way not ok for an adult establishment. read more

Great for the dive bar category. Nice servers, prerequisite hipsters, old hippies. Video poker prominent. Lots of other fun games including Wii. It's like transporting Portland's Sandy Hut crowd to Corey's but Corey's is cleaner and nicer. read more

I make Coreys my meet for business lunch because the place is quiet and the food is outstanding. The lunch specials are alway different and good. Angel the food server is very nice and pleasent and provides the best of service. Stopped in at this place with the wife on 4th of July surprisingly not that many people in here only 10 people in when we came in, in 4 groups including ours. The waitress a large blonde haired woman took her time chatting with people she knew rather than doing her job! Took 15 minutes to take our order and another 30mins to come back to us to inform us that they were out of potatoe salad, another 20 min later we reviewed our food witch by that time we had to get it to go. Food was great but the waitress thoroughly sucked we watched as she talked to friends who came in and out multiple times while others food sat on the order window for 10 minutes getting cold before she walked it the 15 feet to customers tables. Then after that upon being ready to leave she didn't tell us the price and didn't have a receipt or anything apparently the computers where down and she said she would have had to hand write it out. Perhaps instead of talking to your friends you could have written down our order when we ordered it and given us a receipt like your job would entail. 1 star review if it weren't for the guys in the back cooking the food! I truly can't believe that this place is still in business. Terrible service, the older bartender with glasses who seems to always wear a hat is without a doubt the rudest bartender in bend. And the food, awful. If you order the simplest thing on any menu ( chicken strips) watch out! We ordered two baskets of chicken strips both of them were completely raw! We were two of about 6 total people in the bar, so they weren't busy. Get your act together Corey's your giving Bend a bad name. You are a stain on this town. read more

We went there for a late breakfast/lunch on Sunday 9/11/16. The first time in Bend for my girlfriend & I and another couple, but my sister had been here before. Went here with her, on her recommendation. Looks like a cute cafe with bar in the back. I was so hoping for a great meal at a cozy cafe like this. The wait staff is very nice and friendly. After I already had decided I was going to have the Huevos Rancheros, the waitress informed me that they were out of the sauce so I couldn't have that item. Had to choose something else. Went for the basic eggs & sausage with hash browns. Wanted the optional biscuits with it, but they were out of those, too. However, it seems that the one cook can't handle more than a couple of orders at a time. The waitress was honest, telling us there would a short wait for our food, since there were a few order ahead of us. (There weren't many people in there, so I don't know how that could be). Anyway, after waiting for 30 to 45 minutes, our food came out. They forgot my hash browns, and they came out later after bringing this to her attention. The whole meal was unexceptional, and certainly not worth the wait. I assume my friends' meals were fine, but no one mentioned that theirs was really good. I did taste their Bloody Mary drink, and I must say, the bartender knows how to make her drinks really well! I would consider going into the bar on a future trip, as it seems like the best dive bar in town. But will skip the cafe. Much better choices for food abound in Bend! read more
