Big fans of Corie's! My buddy Roger and I have had breakfast there nearly every Friday at 7AM since they've opened. The most fun part about that place is Corie herself and awesome crew, all local Duvall residents. We got to know them all, so when you go take the time to get to know them, and you'll look forward to returning for great food and your new friends. Roger and I have a favorite table, #1 (it could be yours too) and often come in at 7 and see a Reserved sign on our table . I've had every item on the breakfast menu, Avocado Toast is a favorite, her poached eggs are perfect, but today's Breakfast Burrito was the best ever! On weekends with family and friends absolutely have to have Corie's Corned Beef Hash. While breakfasts are available all day, lunches are great too. I've had had the Deviled Eggs and Lumpia, the Arroz Caldo soup was my wife's favorite. It's a Filipino dish, as is the Manila Bowl. I haven't tried the Bloody Mary yet for breakfast, or wine for lunch, but did get an Irish Coffee on St. Patrick's Day. Hope to see you at Corie's soon! read more

We love this restaurant. We've eaten here quite a few times and brought different friends, everyone is always happy with their food and coffee. The art on the walls is very cool. The staff and owner are super friendly and professional. I love that the biscuits and gravy are mushroom and not sausage. They get flowers from local farms for the tables. Decided to try out the new place in town and stopped by for breakfast at around 10:30am. 3 tables were occupied, so seating was not an issue. Noone greeted us upon walking in- didn't know if seat yourself or what. Finally sat down at a table. Waited. And waited. And waited. FINALLY, were approached by a woman who gave us menus. We reviewed the short menu, and then waited some more for someone to take our order. A gentleman came by to take our order - was going to try to remember it but after we placed the order, decided he really needed to write it down (it wasn't anything complicated - one order had scrambled eggs and white toast and the other was eggs over easy and wheat toast). He also brought us coffee. Fortunately, my breakfast companion and I had gotten together to catch up so we were chatting for some time. Our coffee was never replenished. Our coffee cups were empty by the time our breakfasts were served. Coffee wasn't refilled. Breakfasts were ok. The items were not hot- just warm. One piece of toast each - both slices were the smallest slices of bread/toast seen and cold (no way was butter going to melt on it). Hashbrowns - very small portions. Bacon was crisp as we asked it to be, but must have been pre-cooked because it wan't anywhere near warm let alone hot. Noone stopped by to check and see if everything was ok. And througout entire breakfast, no coffee refills and trying to find the one person who was the server was very very challenging. It wasn't like the place was super busy. By the time we left there were 3 other tables excluding ours. Something ANY server could have handled. But I understand the greeter was also the server and cashier. Not sure if they were the person cooking the meals or not. It is an ok spot if you have ample time and aren't too picky about your food. read more

We hoped we had found a good breakfast place near us but alas, we did not. The service was prompt and friendly enough. We both had coffee and it was bitter and had grounds floating in it. We had to ask for water. I ordered buttermilk pancakes, and scrambled eggs and bacon that came with potatoes. One pancake was just on the edge of not being cooked so I ate it, but the other was raw to the point it oozed out of the middle as I cut it. The bacon was good although a tad more cooked than I prefer. The eggs were ok but not seasoned. The potatoes had a heavy old grease taste to them. Not a good breakfast and to add to the disappointment, the chairs and bench are as hard as they come, making it clear they do not want you to linger. Our search continues.... read more

Full espresso machine-- YAY!! I couldn't be more excited to have such a delicious brunch spot in town. They source their coffee locally from Herkimer, and it's amazing! The Filipino touches throughout the menu have quickly become my go-to. I've noticed new additions each time I visit--whether it's in the pastry case or on the menu--and they make their pastries fresh every morning! They also sell local honey, and their own granola which are both absolutely delicious! And I can't go without mentioning the environment and service! They have warm inviting colors with endless plants. Even as a hot up and coming business and being the talk of the town, each member of their team has treated me and my family with endless kindness. The food was awesome! We had eggs benedict and corned beef hash and both were delicious. The space is so cute and inviting. Everyone working there was kind and helpful. They even gave us these delicious chocolate chip cookies with flaky salt because we were celebrating a birthday! Highly recommended. read more

I came hungry because I heard this was the place. So I wanted to try a little bit of many yummy things because I couldn't decide! As a vegetarian, the options available at a cafe aren't always necessarily appetizing but not the case here!! Everything was absolutely ambrosial! Deviled eggs- SOOO good!! Banana bread- Best I have EVER had- wowee wow wow! Moist, flavorful, and excellent texture. Let's keep the carbs going~ Gotta try the monkey bread!! Not too sweet, and it just falls apart, ready to be devoured. Aaaand the mushroom gravy and biscuits~ Eat it now. Fantabulous flavor- not salty, perfect consistency and the biscuits are off the chain! The scramble, accommodated by deleting the sausage and putting more fresh veggies, accompanied by fluffy hash browns, made for a more-than-average, yummy breakfast item you would find on another menu. No, of course I didn't finish everything I ordered- it was better to create a personal buffet at my table and then box up my leftovers to extend my belly-joy at home than to just order one meal. And might as well add a Winter Salad to my leftovers for later too because... why not? That too, did not disappoint and it also was beautifully tossed and perfectly dressed and balanced. I've been to Corie's a few times now, and every time I am impressed. The coffee is my favorite in all of Duvall (especially when Bri makes it, by now I just tell her to surprise me and she always delivers), and it is such a joy to see Corie, Zelie, and Mackenzie. This time I ordered the chicken and rice soup (lugaw for my filipino friends) and the chicken sausage sliders (house made longanisa). Both were delicious and fresh, somehow feeling both homemade and gourmet at the same time. I would also recommend the Manila bowl, breakfast burrito, and pancakes. The place gets pretty packed on the weekends, but it is the perfect spot to work remotely on the weekdays. I highly recommend and hope to see you there! read more

Today was the 4th visit. I will not be back. Cold food, slow service ( understatement) order was wrong had to ask for water twice. No salt or seasoning on the frozen hash browns. Bacon was microwaved and chewy. Eggs Benedict was a hard boiled egg over English muffin with a cold "sweet" sauce over it. I keep trying to give them a chance but I'm done. read more
