I think the buy appointment only is it common but highly appreciated once you get there for sure! I ended up not getting the wine because I wanted to try the hard apple cider. I definitely had a little buzz going and it was only I think five or something maybe six different flavors very good size for a flight. Next time I'll come back for the wine because they are made there! Some of the grape grapes are shipped in and there is a local orchard. Just a very cool and surprising little spot. Raspberry picking was so much fun! For $20/3-pint flat (or $10/pint), we waded through the summer brambles and picked so many delicious magenta gems. We gobbled some raspberries straightaway at a shaded picnic table and made jam with the rest. A special shoutout to Josh, whose smiling kindness, excellent knowledge, and extra-thoughtful offer to split a full slushie into two cups for the little ones in our group made the visit even better. The store is wonderful, too, with homemade jams, jellies, and canned fruits and vegetables, olive oils and vinegars ($8/tasting), rustic merchandise, and a backroom bar featuring homemade wines ($20/5-wine tasting or $12/glass). There was something going on that day when we walked in. They had the back area set up for a live bad and food. I don't know how often this happens, maybe during the weekend. So outside seating wasn't very tempting at the time. Inside, it's the winery which is pretty massive. Mainly their tasting room with the bar counter and loads of seating. Communal tables as well as group tables throughout the property. There's also a second floor which we didn't go up this time. Inside is also a showroom of artworks and trinkets. Different artists showcasing their work, handmade jewelry laid out through the whole place. Displayed items one after the other. This place was happening today with so many people popping in for some wine. I don't know if the event with the band happens often or just during the weekend but it was great. We ended up just staying inside as it was nice and cool. Picked up a bottle of the Tempranillo and made ourselves at home. The wine is quite tasty and nice. You can do a tasting which I believe is three samples. Or if you just wanted a glass that's also offered but we opted for a bottle. Snacks are also available for purchase if you would a charcuterie boards to accompany your tasting. It's very pet friendly as there were so many pups around. They too like to enjoy the party. They've gotten to know us, and our tastes and they always make great recommendations, as well as setting up some very interesting tastings. And, for the non-wine drinker, they've also got a selection of craft beers and ciders. WINES: Ben's shop carries a great selection of wines, focusing on small batch producers, "unique" varietals, organic wines, natural wines, biodynamic wines, certified carbon neutral wines, and local wines. You can do a tasting or purchase a glass or bottle to enjoy onsite. There's a tasting bar up front, as well as bar top tables inside, and a spacious patio outside. I feel that bottle prices are very reasonable, and we usually end up leaving with 5 or 6 bottles based on our tastings and Ben's recommendations. Came here as a guest for an offkai event for kaigai idol group, Strawberry Sunday (look them up and…read morecheck them out! Super talented local idols!). The venue itself has a small nook area to the side so it was used as a back drop for photos and cheki (polaroid taking), a check in area to meet the idols and pick up our DIY bouquets for the event), some cushioned chairs and tables to the side, and lots of circular tables and seating inside for the group to sit down and work on our bouquets. There's random wine themed decor throughout the venue and 2 TVs where one was just the random wallpaper generated and the second one being the offkai theme image. There was chill music being played through the venue but unsure if this was through the tech of the venue or the speakers that the even organizer brought with them. When they spoke on mics, it was easy to hear them no matter where people sat. There's a restroom in the back and if your event needs food or catering or is an actual wine themed event, there's a counter in the back. It was a slightly colder day, but temperatures were controlled inside. There wasn't an option to extend the time there even though the next event wasn't until several hours (like 5 I think), so we had to move our gathering next door.
