What an amazing place. We were in Perris today and went to breakfast at this wonderful restaurant. The service is stellar and the manager is quite pleasant and has excellent customer service skills. We sat outside and the four of us had mimosas courtesy of another patron, June, what a wonderful person. The omelettes and home fries are simply the best. We love breakfast and visit many places and I must say that this location sets the bar quite high. Wonderful food, awesome menu, senior discount menu and so many choices. We came in from out of town for a baseball tournament and happened upon Corky's looking for breakfast. We walked in and were seated quickly, the server was so friendly and accommodating-- she was happy to share suggestions as we had never been there before. The food came quickly and was cooked to PERFECTION. Hot, prepared as ordered...Best steak and eggs I have ever had. Our whole table was mmm-ing the entire meal. The hostess taking payments was also so nice. If I could give 10 stars to Corky's, I would. Keep up the fantastic work! My only complaint is there isn't a Corky's close to home! read more

I was surprised that our CA eggs Benedict were $18ish. . $46 for 2 people not including tip. However, the food was hearty, plentiful & very tasty. Only a 15 min wait even though the parking, front lobby waiting are and outfront were full of people. We will definitely return! We love this place! The waitresses are amazing. The manager however, needs some work ethic. We were there for about an hour. The manager was leaning against a wall behind the front counter with her phone in front of her dace the whole time. Terrible work ethic! How about lead by example. Corky's is great food, and good family. The best part though, is the Manager Kim. She sets the tone for her whole crew. We've been coming here for over a year and have had the best service from all of her staff. The servers, the kitchen, the baker (special mention), just everyone. They are always happy to see you, share your life story, and give you a great dining experience. They will also work to fulfill any special requests that come in from time to time, be it a large group, or having some item cooked to your liking. Nice location for home style comfort food. Excellent selection of menu items for all times of the day. The staff here is consistently super friendly and attentive. Bakery products are top notch and can always be grabbed on the way out for snacks later. They're food is ok but their pies are not. After years of ordering our thanksgiving pie from Marie Callenders we decided to order from here because it is closer to our new home. What a disappointment. On thanksgiving night I regretted so much not making the trip to Riverside for our regular Marie callender pies. The apple pie was not very sweet and the apples were sour, the pumpkin one was not very sweet either and it just came apart easily. Wife and I are pretty much regulars there. Service- Excellent. Waitresses friendly and efficient. Little or no waiting, even when it's crowded. Decor- Plain, but homey and comfortable. But that's not why you come here. Food- Regular portions are large, so you get your money's worth. Breakfasts excellent- machaca highly recommended. Meatloaf, turkey dinner are favorites. Beefeater sandwich is delicious. I'd stay away from the steak- quality a bit lacking. Wed. night navy bean soup is as good as my mom's. I ordered our pies for our Thanksgiving dinner, which I traditionally do, and this year the quality of the pies were very disappointing. The apple pie's crust was too thin and not fully cooked on the bottom. The chocolate cream pie was lacking chocolate. I've never seen a chocolate cream so light in color. We also ordered a pumpkin pie and all three pies had no flavor. These pies were not cheap either, which is fine. I don't mind paying for quality pies, but this year I am very disappointed and dissatisfied. Not going to waist my money anymore. Not sure why the change. read more

We've lived in Menifee for over 5 yrs and kept wondering what it's like at Corkey's. Turns out it's one of the best restaurants around. The food was great. This one welcomed people! GREAT for them. We've ordered lots of different things and been happy as well as disappointed. Don't order their soups, they do not appear to be homemade, just canned. I'm not sure about canned, but they aren't good. Recently I ordered the Messina Burger! OMG!!! That think is HUGE - there was no way to get my mouth on the whole burger, had to shove what I could in, but it was AMAZING. I asked for rare and I got RARE - so many restaurants don't give you rare, just a bit of pink - this was a treat. We ordered scrambled eggs once and they were the best I had ever had: soft, lightly scrambled and delicious. The second time I ordered the same, it wasn't as great - just ordinary. I don't know why it was so special that first time. The people are friendly and service is usually pretty good. No complaints. Again - big congrats for getting through covid like champions!
