Went inside to order a to go order. Had nice young man take my order and I told him I would be waiting outside in my car. After 35 minutes of waiting and figuring he ignored me, I went in and asked where my food was. The female employee went to the counter and retrieved my order. This review can probably apply to the entire chain, I've eaten at three locations, and they're pretty much identical in good and bad ways. The location in Upland is where I've eaten most often, which is why I'm reviewing this location. The Food: Burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, and pies are all pretty great. The prices aren't quite justified, but for a 24-hour place, those food items are reliably good and the prices aren't offensive. That said, don't waste your time on the dinners. If you miss the window by a minute, you're out of luck and the wait staff will blame it on the cooks, almost with a tone that suggests they're one and the same as management. Also avoid the dinners because in recent years the meat has taken on a funky taste. Freezer burn maybe, but whatever it is, it's not right, especially the meatloaf and the pot roast. Also, the breakfast is...breakfast. No egg dish is gonna change your life, but if you're dropping $15 on breakfast, you should at least be temporarily fooled into thinking so. The People: The staff are all friendly and cheerful, with very few exceptions (those exceptions tend to come in the form of cranky waitresses working the dinner rush). But even with said exceptions, no complaints. The Management: If you're running a 24-hour restaurant and I can't order dinner at 10:01pm, you come from a different planet. Likewise, if you're charging $15 for breakfast and I can't swap out the bacon for cottage cheese or fruit, I just don't understand you. And on the one hand, welcome to earth, but on the other, if you came from a dying civilization to do business here, get with the flippin' program. Denny's is also 24 hours and they also serve breakfast. read more

I wish I could give a better review. I have eaten here in the past, and the food was pretty decent. This time my food was mediocre at best. Flavorless gravy over over baked biscuits. My scramble was okay, although the home fries were either fried to potato chip crispiness or barely cooked. But the major reason I downgraded Corky's, is that they jumped the Covid tier by several days. Even though inside dining was on the horizon, it had not been approved on the day I was there. I know the protocols have been difficult for businesses, but when so many restaurants are suffering, yet still abiding by the rules, I fine it hard to support those that choose to circumvent protocols. I would have left, except my sister wanted to stay, and it was her birthday celebration after a year of lockdown. She enjoyed her burrito, so the two stars are for making her happy. read more

I had breakfast today at Corky's during a time when they were moderately busy, but not overly so. The waitress came over immediately and asked for our drink orders. I ordered water and then my entree, which was their special egg scramble of the day, nothing complicated. Since I ordered first, i expected that my entree would be delivered first, but noooo!! Out of the rest of our table (about 10 people total), i rec'd my entree dead last and it took only 25 minutes!! The eggs were good, but the food server said that the cook goofed and made an omelette by mistake. I say BS. When the cashier asked me about my experience there, I told her I WAS NOT HAPPY with the service. The assistant mgr. took a couple of bucks off the meal (which I didn't ask for) but then told me that most people who are unhappy are so because of the service. I hope that the manager is reading this and taking steps to ameliorate the service problem. Unless I'm with friends and they insist on coming here, I would never go back. read more

We had a craving for breakfast for dinner and ordered the Barnyard Breakfast deal. The breakfast was delicious and filling - I recommend asking for the pumpkin butter for the pancakes before the season ends! We called in our order which they said would take 20 minutes and it took over 35 minutes to be ready. The fried chicken dinner had a leg and a thigh with hardly any meat on it, no chicken breast which is usually included. To top it all off they had multiple tables of people eating inside the Restaurant at a time when all dinning both indoor abs outdoor is banned and hospitals are over capacity with covid patients. Went to this upland location during the outdoor seating COVID-19 time. I did get our order to go though. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes were excellent and the Beefeater was so delicious! Everything was packaged perfectly and the side salads were so fresh! Got my free cookie with yelp check in!!!! read more

I downloaded this app just so I could leave a review. I'm a nursing mother of a 3 month old with GERD. I can't have any dairy or it causes my daughter to have severe acid reflux, vomiting, painful heartburn, and even choking. I specifically (and politely) asked that my eggs and potatoes be cooked without butter or cheese and was assured that it would be cooked without. When I was served my food and asked again, I was told that nothing dairy was used. Tonight my daughter is having one of the worst flare ups we've experienced. I've eaten at other restaurants before with this dietary restriction with no problems. When I called to complain, the manager continued to hang up on me due to "loud background noise", which was my daughter screaming in pain. Horrible customer service, not even an apology. I very disappointed with this whole ordeal and will not be going back. read more

I have been to Corky's many times for breakfast and lunch. Sometimes the service isn't the best, but today I had great service. I like how they are seating people spaced apart and they have plastic dividers between the booths. I have also seen them sanitizing the tables and seats after people leave. read more

Manager and staff are awesome! This was our first time dining out since the beginning of the pandemic and they made it so comfortable and safe. Everything was clean and sanitary meanwhile all tables inside have a plastic barrier in between them and are spaced out. Very limited on the amount of people allowed to dine in. They also have outdoor seating available. Food was on point and delicious. Also previously ordered and picked up a cheesecake a couple months back which was also delicious and ready to pickup at that time. read more

I am so disappointed in Corky's. During this pandemic when our community is trying to stay safe, take care of our families and support small local businesses I have to say Corky's has failed big time! We placed an order to be picked up. When I went to pick up my order only one employee was wearing a mask, and he had it down around his chin!! When his card reader wouldn't work, he came around the corner stood right next to me (I would have moved back but the 2 customer behind me were standing right behind me, there were no social distancing lines or suggestions even if space. Then after he rubbed his chin he grabbed a pen and handed me the pen to sign my receipt. Corky's is failing big time to protect their customers and take any precautions during this pandemic.
