Come here pretty often, service is always spectacular! Their pies look so yummy but haven't had the chance to try any just yet. My go to is the Cinnamon Roll French Toast! So delicious, if you're reading this please try! Had the Loaded Hash browns today and they were so good, I love sour cream so I needed extra. The servers are always so nice and present. Several years ago, I ordered Pumpkin Pancakes from Coco's restaurant. Pumpkin Pie is one of my favorites, so I thought why not try pancakes. I encourage you to try these, which are available for a limited time. The major difference that makes these pancakes the BEST is the special pumpkin mousse they make. They do not need syrup or butter, the mousse is sweet and smooth and tastes out of this world!!! My problem is the Coco's in Brea, Glendora, and Covina have permanently closed down. If the Upland location closes, I am out of luck. Believe me, I've tried pumpkin pancakes at a different restaurant. They could not compare, they were the typical kind without mousse! Coco's also makes a delicious Pumpkin Harvest pie this month. Enjoy the holidays, let them add to your traditional Thanksgiving dinner. Make your plans to come out to Coco's for breakfast or dessert. They do have great weekly deals, such as: Kids eat FREE on Tuesday (with a purchase of an adult entree); and, on Wednesday every person receives a FREE slice of pie with their meal. This Coco's Bakery Restaurant is located right next door to a Big 5 with plenty of parking. My husband and I drove down to this restaurant on Saturday evening, around 7:15 pm since this is one of the nearest Coco's. Sadly the other locations closer to us have closed. What brought us here was their Pumpkin Harvest Pie ($22.99 prior to tax or $24.78 after). My co-worker kept talking about how good their pumpkin pie is and that I had to get it, lol. I told my husband and he agreed, which made for an impromptu drive. When we entered, we were greeted by a friendly hostess when we walked in. He asked us if we would like to dine in or make a to go order. I told him that we would like to purchase the pumpkin harvest pie and pointed to the last one in the bakery case. He boxed it up for us right away and my husband paid for it. Then we were on our way home to try this delightful seasonal treat. This pumpkin pie (they also have a pumpkin cheesecake and also a regular pumpkin pie for those interested) is described as "Perfectly spiced pumpkin pie topped with velvety pumpkin chiffon and finished with fresh whipped cream" on their menu and website. So the pumpkin has two layers, the bottom layer is the pumpkin pie layer and the top layer is the pumpkin chiffon layer that is similar to a mousse texture and then topped with a dollop of whipped cream. This pumpkin pie is good, just as my co-worker had raved about (although I do not think it was worth the drive, lol even though she would disagree). I like the whipped chiffon layer, that goes very well with the pumpkin pie layer. But I think the crust was just okay. My husband liked the pie and my mom loved it and looks forward to grabbing a small slice each night since we purchased it. Customer service was very friendly and quick. If I lived in this area, I would most likely be a regular because my mom really loved Coco's (and used to frequent the location in Arcadia often, but sadly it closed a few years ago). read more

Came in was greeted right away. Francisco the Manager was very nice and friendly. They were very busy for lunch, but still received fast service and food came quickly. Ed the server is a funny guy. Restaurant was clean and the first thing you see when you walk in is a huge pie case with tons of options. I had the breakfast burrito w/ fresh fruit. Only thing i changed up was the sauce inside. I just added cholula. The other lady servers Letty & Roberts were very nice and asked if I'd like some refills. Id definitely come back here again. They have free slice of pie on Wednesdays with designated times. They are going to rebrand soon, and they showed us a new menu items and photos that looked really nice. Will be called Cali's Eatery & Bakery. Can't wait to try it out. They will also have alcohol to serve and have TVs to watch sports on. read more

This is one of a few remaining CoCo's , however not for longs as this and others are rebranding as " Calie's" same menu , same owner just no franchise fees. The food is good I had the pot roast melt sandwich which was previously the " mile high pot roast sandwich " same taste I chose coleslaw as my side it was generic food service mass produced variety. No attempt to elevate it. Service was friendly but not speedy. The location is in its 40's and it shows. While numerous refreshes have taken place the result is a hodgepodge of styles. The exterior shows advanced wood rot and peeling paint. The entry door is desperately in need of paint flooring is dark industrial that is in ok shape. Lighting is harsh . Baked goods are displayed at the entry but the chilled display has poor gaskets and fogs up to an extent that obscures the display. This remains one of the few places to get a good selection of pies in upland . I hope for success and investment in the location. read more

I came for my doctor appointment and decided to get breakfast here today. I was suprised that Coco's even open because most already shut down. I enjoyed my breakfast and coffee here at this location. This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star me and my mom went in the establishment was very slow not many customers probably 2.. it's summer time and this restaurant had zero air conditioning the manager seated us but we were ignored by the waitress several times mind you we were only 2 other people we were sweating asking to see the waitress and nothing. On the way back from the snow, we decided to stop at big five to get some snow gear for our next snow adventure. In the middle of shopping for our sporting goods, we need to go to the restroom. So we stopped in at Cocos . Just coming from eat and we definitely weren't hungry . I feel guilty using a business restroom without being a customer , so I bought myself a brand muffin. Such a great idea ! Brand muffins are made daily. I figured I would eat it in the morning with my coffee. DISAPPOINTING ... NEVER ATE the STEAK Decided to treat myself to a medium rare steak and egg breakfast. The eggs and toast were perfect, the steak was well done and the potatoes were salty , (sometime we customers endure somethings) I told the waitress just bring me some bacon and she said she had to exchange the entire meal. I had never had this happen before. she could have taken the steak off the plate and returned with some bacon. I have been coming to this Coco's for at least 25 years and had never experience his type of behavior. She came back later with a new plate of 4 pieces of bacon. I assumed the doubled up on the bacon because of the bad steak order. I only eat 2 pieces of bacon at a time. The type of exchange was never discussed with me and unfortunately my regular waiter was not there and I had never seen this manager before. So, when I got ready to check out I noticed the bill was 14.99. instead of the $9.99 i normally pay for bacon and eggs. Further, the manager never came to the table to apologize about the steak or. offer any compensation for my time and the meal mistake. The manager who happened to be at the cash register told me they charged me for the classic breakfast I said, but I didn't ask for a classic breakfast nor was the exchange discussed with me. (I'm the one who is paying ) I said you know I received a well done steak and he said I told them to cook the steak the way the customer ask. There was no apology. Nor, did he offer any type of compensation? I am a good customer , I could have got up and walked out after the delivery of the steak which I never tasted. my sons and i usually go out and have a meal together just the two of us on their birthdays, this year, this was his choice of birthday meal. we received great service from Edd (or was it Eddie? it kinda hard to read his tag). he was VERY friendly and personable! I had a denver omelet scramble which was DELICIOUS! portions are BIG. I get 3 meals from my one dish. my son said his meal was good as well. he had the meat lover's omelet with French toast. he couldn't finish all of his meal either! portion sizes are plentiful! I cant believe the prices went up and the quality and portion went down. I bought a dutch apple pie for Thanksgiving, picked up no issues, open the box, it was 1 inch of crumble, 1/4 inch of apple substance and another 1/2 inch of crust. It was $16....?? I could have bought one from smart and final for a few bucks less, or bought 4 hostess apple pies for $2 and had more apple... Terrible, terrible pie. What happened? I remember decent pies coming out of this Cocos.. Bring back Marie calendars... What a bummer for dessert. read more

She asked what I like to drink of course I only drink diet coke but nooooo they only have diet Pepsi yuk. Ice tea it is well 10min pass and I was wears my ice tea and Noone taken my order. Yolanda shout out is the server to have. She's kind and friendly. It's a very calm spot to eat. I loved the Coco's that I grew up going to as a kid. Was so sad when it closed. I don't want to see it happen to this one. Please come by see Yolanda. Ambiance is calm and inviting. Good is good for the price. Have their banana cream pie if you like chocolate ask for it drizzled on top. That makes it that much better. Overall love this place. Been here a few times within the last month. Coco's has always been a place for my family and I to come together and have good food, good service and maybe take a whole pie home. I had recently started to revisit my local Coco's again on Foothill in Upland and immediately noticed a change in staff, the restaurant wasn't as clean , and the food well is just all right, but the real problem is the staff. Arturo had been our waiter the last 2-3 times we had visited, and every time he was been dismissive and not very customer service oriented, which I've shrugged off, but my last visit has me not ever wanting to spend my money at this Coco's or it's connecting franchises. The waiter Arturo, needs better training on how to treat people with out prejudice, I am a Mexican American 5th generation, spanish isn't my first language and unfortunately Arturo couldn't be a true professional and I felt that he was much more accommodating to the customers that spoke to him in spanish. Trying to talk to the night manager seemed to be useless. Well to end this review, I will not be spending any more money with this Coco's franchise which are located in Upland CA and Rancho Cucamonga Ca read more

Picked up my preordered pies today... I should of double checked. Yes I received the wrong flavor. I called they said for me to bring them back and they can fix it. Long line out the door. They were limited on pies by that time. People were complaining because they were coming from the Rancho Cucamonga restaurant with only two ovens there and they had no pies ... I don't know? Then the line wasn't organized fairly. I gave up too easily and just turned around and left. Lesson learned double check your pie order before you leave the restaurant. read more

I was invited by family for Christmas Eve dinner at Coco's. I ordered their pot roast sandwich. The wait time was good for my family; however, I waited much longer so my family was already starting their deserts. My sandwich got there, cool and limp, but the meat was missing from one half of it and the other half had only a small bit of meat. There was gravy on both halves at least. While I ate my dinner, no questions asked, the cook was wrapping a large piece of roast in paper at his order counter and the waitress who served us did not offer anything else for me in place of pot roast for the sandwich. read more
