I went in at lunch.. around 11. The low rating is because .. 1) None of the 4 workers were using masks.. In fact, the gentleman cooking, was chewing gum while cooking with no mask. So many thing wrong with that. 2) They have not closed off any tables, nor removed them, as was instructed by the health department and the governor. 3) The did however have numerous signs about no refills on the soda. After going to Corleone's for over 20 years today was the last time. I had to call 5 times and wait on hold for nearly 20 minutes while I was already driving towards Corleone's just to order one cheese pizza. Each time I would call in before I could say anything the person answering very quickly said, "corleone's please hold" and immediately put you on hold without listening to a single word and put you on deep space 9 hold. THE IDEA OF CALLING YOUR PIZZA IN AHEAD OF TIME IS SO THAT YOU AREN'T WAITING THERE FOR IT. Since I was driving past, I stopped in the store to ask the manager why this was happening. He offered to make me a pizza but didn't want to listen to what I had to say so I told him that I won't be coming back to which he replied, "I don't give a shit. Go to Pizza Hut!" Actually guys, there are a LOT of pizza places in town and I am imagining that some of them actually care about their customers of 20+ years and getting regular business so I will be dong just that. I'm glad the restaurant wasn't packed so we could easily move all the little tables together for our large group. First time here and it was amazing! Friendly staff, quick service. I ordered a small Philly cheese steak (rib-eye) with mayo, onions, peppers, and provolone cheese & fries. Been coming here for years, and they've never failed me. Great pizza, hoagies and cheesesteaks, but never realized they did wings. Tried their mild wings last night, 11/10. For mild, they did have some heat, and I like spice. They also had a slightly sweet and smokey flavor to them too. Absolutely one of the best wing sauces I've ever had. Torn on this one because usually it is much better. However, this last time left me less than thrilled. Came towards the end of lunch, the place was packed. There were a lot of campers, so really not a place to sit, and there isn't much room to start. Perhaps they had some sort of A/C issue because they had some huge...like HUGE fan/external cooling unit thing sitting in front of the bathroom hallway. There were 4 people in front of us and it took about 20 minutes to get our food, not so good if you are in a hurry...and we were. We ordered two cheesesteaks and an order of fries to share... fries were $2+ and barely got a handful, felt pretty ripped off frankly. Even more so after the wait when I took a bite to find out the fries were lukewarm at best. sigh. I am hoping this was an off day and not a sign of change. That was the best Philly Cheese Steak I've ever had! The Steak was perfect, juicy, but not greasy. But mix that with Kraft Cheez Whiz, grilled onions on a toasted hoagie roll... I dont know how it could have been any better. Oh wait, it was, the fries made it the perfect American lunch. They were amazing with the Cheese Steak. Golden, crispy and delicious! I am so full though, couldn't even finish the fries, I would definitely get a small if it is your first time, you won't be disappointed! All of that wrapped up in a fun old time feel, with tall booths, wood tables and Philly memorabilia that made me miss the East coast all over again. They had Sports on a couple TVs and the movie Rocky playing on another. The music was a nice background, and not too loud, so you could hold a conversation. But if you do get a Philly make sure you ask for either provolone or mozzarella. I used to love this place years ago and I took my two daughters there today for lunch. Corleone's has absolutely gone downhill and my main problem with the restaurant is that it's absolutely FILTHY!!! When you walk into the restaurant there is a Coca-Cola cooler that they store water bottles inside of and I do not think that thing is been cleaned in the last year. If you think I'm kidding the next time you're in this restaurant just look up. Everything is so dusty and dirty and grimy and I'm not talking normal dirtiness and dirt, I'm talking excessive, very very bad for you type of uncleanliness. If they keep the restaurant that filthy in places that can be seen what does it look like in the places that cannot be seen? I wanted to bring this issue to the attention of the management but I couldn't bear to stay inside the restaurant that long. I am not a picky individual when it comes to this type of thing but I felt the need to leave this review because it was absolutely that bad. Someone needs to close this place down for a week and do a top to bottom clean otherwise you're jeopardizing your health when you eat in there. The owner or the manager just must not give a hoot about cleanliness and the end result being the employees must not care either because the place was just so dirty. Don't think I've seen any worse. I have been ordering from them for a long time pizza has always been great, wings and cheesesteaks. I received an order that I paid $60 for and the pizza was very over cooked very dry. Wings were over cooked. I contacted the store and was told by the manager that this is how they make their food, which isn't true. He blamed it on the pizza sitting on top of the oven waiting for delivery. Which sounds to me like it continued to cook. The wings were so dry and over cooked you could see the bones on most pieces. Can I give a negative review minus stars? I ordered 2 take out reg cheesecake, two fry. About 28$ with a cash tip. Sitting there, waiting for food I scratched the table and there is so much pooled black grime on it I could write my name. I'm not even joking. Black grime. I look up and DRIPPING DUST is covering the place. A huge spiderweb above my head in the light fixture. So I get up to ask for a refund and they call my number. OK, I have been to South Philly and all the way to 9th and Passyunk Ave. That is where the Philly started and Geno's and Pat's are still contending. The secret is in the bun and the meat. As a Philly purist, I always want provolone cheese on mine. In Phoenix, Cheez Whiz is the main option. This joint wants to charge extra for green peppers, in Philly they come standard. Our two Philly Cheesesteaks were great despite their use of Cheez Whiz. This is a good choice in Phoenix for Cheesesteaks. The French fries were just average. I have called multiple different days/times for a PICK UP order (should be the easiest type of order) and I have been left on hold for 15+ minutes. My husband and I ordered this via yelp delivery. I'm not sure whether that has something to do with the food we got but I'm not pleased. We ordered 2 sandwiches: the steak Italiano and the buffalo chicken. The first came without the onions I ordered and the second came without the ranch I ordered (it was literally just bread and chicken). I even went as far as requesting both the onions and the ranch on the side. What we got was extremely mediocre sandwiches. I gave 2 starts because it was food and it the sandwiches were eatable. The french fries were cold, soggy and tasted like freezer burn. They were not accompanied by any ketchup to make them even minimally palatable. They went straight into the trash bin. This 'meal' took a full hour to arrive (which yelp did warn us about). In short: I do not think it would be worth the gas or effort to drive to this place to get food, and its not worth a 60 min wait for delivery. read more

Eh. I can't speak to their cheeseteaks, as I've only ever ordered pizza (always delivery, through GrubHub). The delivery times have always been accurate for me, and the food arrives pretty hot. Their pizza is pretty basic. No this really flashy or high quality, just pizza for pizza's sake. I found it odd, and kinda gross, that when I ordered bell peppers and onion on my pizza, it came with the same cooked-on-the-flat-top, limp and overcooked peppers and onions that would come on a cheeseteak sandwich. Does anyone else find this unusual? I get trying to save time and/or money by topping pizzas with their already-prepared veggies, but come on. Any place serving respectable pizza should have raw, fresh peppers and onions to top their pizzas, IMHO. That said, their sauce is pretty good and the crust ain't bad. It literally feels like you've crossed into Philly when you step through the door. The employees seem to have been flown in from that region of the country and the look of the place, it's theme, is very obviously designed to have that appearance. It's also about the only place in town I can think of to grab a cheesesteak, especially since the one in Tempe disappeared, and they're good cheesesteaks. I recommend going on a Tuesday, when they run their BOGO deal - then you can try one of their less traditional cheesesteaks, like the pizza one, which is worth a try. read more
