    Original Cheese Steak
    James T.

I love cheese steaks, so had to check this spot out. They also sell pizza by the slice. I got the original. Has whiz and grilled onions. Flavor was good, it could have used more onions and definitely more cheese. Bread was super soft, not sure if they are made in-house or out sourced. Fries were really good. For the cheesesteak, fries and a drink was $20 and some change. I will go again but I'll be sure to have them add more cheese.

I've never been to Philly but I'm pretty sure I was transported when I had my cheesesteak "wit onions n wiz" You order at the register and then wait for the hoagie dogs to go to town on the griddle. It's the type of place where you don't go for the cutesy photo op. They get the job done and they do it well. Can't wait to come back!

Friends, I was in the mood for a hot crisp sandwich, so I decided to give Corleone's a try for this!! I have had the pizza here before and it's been pretty good. Walked in, smells great!!! You can smell the bake of hot Pizza combined with the grilled in action creating some appetizing food. I opted for "The Original" sandwich, toasted with Fries. I was very impressed with the size, the crisp, and the flavor. The sandwich is LOADED with cheesy steak and the fries hot and crisp. I have to say friends, CHEF's KISS!!! My picture doesn't capture the perfectness of this!! Enjoy friends!!!

The worse ever. Being from NY & knowing what a real Philly Cheesestake looks .& taste like, this is not the place to go to st all. Very expensive & disgusting. Not worth the drive, they also have people parking in the handicap with no handicap plaque or license.

We ordered the Italian and the meatball both were great! I like eating the Italian and adding pepperoncini's. I am going to come back to try the pizza it looks yummy. The restaurant itself needs a little TLC so don't expect one of those modern moody places. This is a boys joint! Football, baseball memes, and cheez whiz. If you don't like it get outta town lol (or order to go because the food if good lol)

I'm here on BOGO Tuesday and got a Cheesesteak without and provolone cheese and the second one the same way. Great service friendly and helpful. Nice easy place to grab a sandwich. They have TV with sports on. So it ok.

The family owned spot has since become much more famous due to social media and it's worth the wait! The original Philly cheesesteak is one of the best I've had outside Philadelphia. I first found this hidden gem in 2014 thanks to a conversation at my local dog park. Back then,…read moretheir menu wasn't online, so I snapped a photo and posted it with my first review, and I've been a loyal fan ever since. From the outside, this place might not scream "life-changing sandwich," but the moment you take your first bite, you'll know you're somewhere special. The food is outstanding, flavorful, generous, and made with love. It's the kind of food that makes East Coasters feel like they're back home and locals feel like they just discovered their new favorite spot. But it's not just the food, it's the people. The warmth and kindness of this family-run business make it stand out even more. Rita, Sarah, and Jacob always greet me with genuine smiles, and even after we moved away from Arizona in 2023 and returned two years later, they remembered my name like no time had passed. (They still tease my husband for forgetting his, all in good fun!) Megan was the first person we met when we came in all those years ago, and she instantly made us feel welcome. She's amazing. Although she is now a successful realtor and no longer working in the shop, the heart of the business she helped build is still the same. It is all about family, flavor, and fantastic service. I'll also say this. In a time when others have tried to imitate what this family built, this original spot continues to shine. Their integrity, quality, and kindness speak louder than anything else ever could. Pro tip: Preorder if you can. They get busy because they're just that good. Support real local businesses. Support real people. And most of all, treat yourself to one of the best meals you'll have in the Valley.

Outstanding food and eating-in experience…read more Their KRISPY KRUNCHY FRIED CHICKEN is FAR better, MUCH more highly superior, to any of the other fried chicken chain outlets we've tried before. Cooked just right. Crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Excellent, fresh flavor! As it is prepared to order, expect about a 15 minute wait time for the chicken... but WELL worth that wait, as it turned out. Fries and Onion Rings sides were PERFECT, and tastier than most. Interesting, varied menu, too! Very generous portions... and the chicken pieces were real, actual sized pieces of chicken... not like the canary-sized tidbits served up by today's fried chicken chain outlets! Although the seating area was VERY small (store front operation,) the facilities were bright, clean and well maintained. The staff was welcoming, patient and most helpful as we worked our way through their surprisingly large, and varied menu! Reasonably priced, too! Overall... a happy find... and now one of our go-to favorites! Just wish they had a LOT more locations closer (to us!) Surprise/Sun City areas would benefit from having closer access to Outta Bronx sandwich/hot dog/wings/Krispy Krunchy chicken locations! I think it would catch on in no-time... assuming today's quality, and value, remained the same, of course. I'm, generally, hard to please... but Outta Bronx/Krispy Krunchy chicken seems to hit it on all cylinders! VERY pleased. Mark us down as huge fans!

This place delivers big flavor in an unexpected package…read more On a recent trip to Phoenix from my home base in Chicago, I got a serious craving for fish and chips--something crispy, hot, and satisfying. After a quick internet search, I ended up at a place called Speedie's Fish & Chips on McDowell. Let me be real with you... when I pulled up, my first thought was: Am I in the right place? From the outside, it's giving more "corner vape shop meets convenience store" than seafood spot. But hey--hunger (and curiosity) won the day. I walked in and discovered exactly that: a vape store, a small market, and tucked off to the right, a humble little lunch counter. No frills -- just a guy behind the counter doing his thing. I ordered the Fish & Shrimp Daily Special ($11.99) and waited a few minutes. When the food hit the counter, WOW. Any skepticism I had about the surroundings vanished in a cloud of fryer steam and crispy golden goodness. The fish? Hot, flaky, and perfectly battered. The shrimp? Juicy with just the right crunch. The fries? Fresh, piping hot, and generously portioned. All of it was straight out of the fryer--no limp or lukewarm bites here. To top it off, they gave me four sauces--ketchup, cocktail, tartar, and ranch--which turned this into a choose-your-own-dipping-adventure. Each bite was better than the last. And guess what? The next day, I went back and ordered the exact same thing. No regrets. Bottom line: Speedie's is not about ambiance. It's not Instagram-worthy, and it might not even look like a restaurant. But if you're in Phoenix and craving solid fish and chips at a great price, don't let the exterior fool you. This place delivers big flavor in an unexpected package.

I was looking on Yelp while she was in an office taking care of business and saw this place. When she and my granddaughter came out I asked them how they felt about it. Granddaughter was hesitant because she claims she doesn't like fish but daughter was open to it and I could see online that they had hamburgers and chicken nuggets also. I got the two piece fish with fries and she got the three piece fish with fries because she thought the two piece wouldn't fill her up. The pieces were generous and delicious and the fries were good. She wasn't even able to eat her third piece so she let me bring it home for leftovers. We also got six wings to try out, three lemon pepper and three honey barbecue. We each had one of each flavor just for an appetizer. They were good, a little chewy but wonderful flavor. My daughter and I were both impressed with how good the fish was and neither one of us could finish what we were served. The teenage granddaughter ordered the hamburger special for $6.99 that included hamburger fries and a kool-aid. She wasn't crazy about the Kool-Aid so we brought it home for other family members but she kept exclaiming how delicious her hamburger was! She liked the wings also and we all liked the fries. All in all we were happy with our food and the service was fine, very friendly. The final decision was that it was a good choice! It's inside an old convenience store and does have a lot of items a convenience store would have but we just went for the food. Don't let the outside deter you, the food is worth it and a very very good price. For me the only disadvantage was when I asked for a receipt it just said $40.32 but didn't itemize so there was no way to double check it and I have found so many places make errors that I like to look over my receipt and see exactly what I was charged. I do know that we paid $6.99 for the hamburger special at least that's what it was listed for and my two-piece was $8.99. I think my daughter is three piece was $11.99 but I can't remember for absolute sure and I don't remember how much the wings were but they were reasonable.
