I finally got an opportunity to stop by and try Cornatoes...over all my experience was a positive one. I arrived at The Kaiser on Bruceville. First thing I noticed was a line. Good sign the food is worth standing in line for!!! (When you see a line of folks ordering). They moved the line pretty fast as you watch them putting everything together on the orders. I tried the The Cali it is made with asada as the meat. For me the asada needed a little more salt/flavoring. Again my Mama used garlic salt, that gives the food an extra burst of flavor. But my bowl over all was very tasty. The potato was cooked to perfection and cheese melted throughout the bowl. It's topped with crema... I was a little taken back because there wasn't much crema on top of my bowl of deliciousness. Which I would have liked to have more crema...as I watched the other bowls being prepared, there was a good amount of crema. So that is why I rated my experience at Cornatoes a (4). I will return to give them more business in the near future. I encourage everyone to stop by and give them a try. Mondays they are at the Kaiser on Big Horn in Elk Grove and Fridays at the Kaiser on Bruceville in South Sacramento. They're at the Farmers Markets held in these days at Kaiser. A MUST TRYYYYYY! 100/10 This is a family pop up & it was my first time trying it! Honestly I'm sad I didn't try them sooner they are soooo good! They are so kind & friendly! A PLUS is they are very clean & they do not skimp you on your portions! I am definitely coming back! I tried the cornato- loaded baked potato / elote style & added carne asada. I got my sauces on the side & I highly recommend the spicy sauce! Everything tastes so fresh! I recommend parking in the parking garage instead of looking for parking around! I actually saw a post on tiktok from this business that they were going to be at the south sac kaiser flea market and i been wanting to visit the flea market anyways so i came for them! Their booth is small and while there were a few people waiting for their order, it took only about ten minutes! I got the: - The cali: i love carne asada fries so this was that but with a lil twist with baked potatoes instead! It was delicious, the potatoes made it hearty and filling and the carne asada meat and toppings were very flavorful and it went very well together! The serving seemed small at first but it was very filling and you could easily share with somebody else as well! AMAZING! The food here so good. I went to Kaiser for an appt, they were set up right in front and I couldn't leave without trying one of the potato bowls. I ordered the Cornato bowl which is $15 and I ordered it with Asada which is $2 extra. It's worth it! Oscar and his wife Victoria run this business and Oscar is super nice. Being that I've previously worked in management in the food industry, I can understand how stressful it can be cooking alone and building a relationship with customers at the same time creating a positive environment, but Oscar made it seem so easy. I went home with my leftovers, my husband tried a bite and said, "I don't want another bite, this is so good, lets go get a fresh one!" We went back to the stand and ordered 2 more bowls (with asada and pastor) along with 3 tacos ($10 for 3 tacos). We got home and it was all perfect. The tacos were the best. My husband already said he knows what he's having for lunch on Friday. Right now Cornatoes operates on Mondays and Fridays. Monday at the Kaiser on Big Horn, Friday at the Kaiser in south sac. We will definitely be regulars here. While we went back a second time, I met someone else who was a returning customer and there was another person in line on the phone who also previously ate at this spot. Don't miss out! read more

Amazing service and delicious food! The owners and workers here are the absolute sweetest and they don't skimp out on the portions! Two massive potato's loaded up with cheese, meats and toppings of your choosing. I mean what could be better (HUGE potato fan over here) so far I've tried the Cali (half and half) and the Cornato and tbh it's so hard to choose which one I liked better. I also love elote so the Cornato being a combo of both was fire! The cup of corn on the side is also a must! It's easy to walk with and tastes great! Highly recommend checking out their next popup of their location because once you go you'll be wanting more it's that good hahah read more

The Asada potato was super delicious and flavorful. Their food is cooked fresh, service is kind of slow because when I ordered, there was one guy putting the food together. I like how clean they are too, gloves and everything. This stand is way better than the other food stands at Kaiser when they have the farmers market. I always come here but the line is long. read more

Sooo goood!!! I'm Super happy to have this in EG/Sac. Super great customer service!! Oscar & Adrian were awesome!!! Super friendly. We got the OG & a Cornatoes bowls. And they loaded up the bowls with everything. Also ask how spicy I wanted. And if I would like to make it "Elote style". The corn in a cup with more than enough. It's Pretty good size for $6. My kids loved it. And each bowl was only $15!!! Way cheaper & better tasting than even going out to a restaurant. We will be back!! And already following their locations!!! read more

I have been watching UK SpudTok on Tik Tok for the last year, dying to try a loaded potato, not knowing we had our own spud man here in Sacramento! I got the Cali potato and Elote en Vaso. The corn was delicious. The potato was amazing. If you can handle spice, get the red sauce. Its so good! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, even in the cold. First time impression was a 10/10!! So delicious. I ordered the Cornato and made it Elote Style! So delicious. Service was good. They take cash and cards, so that's why I was able to order, and enjoy it at home. If I had been able to take my time to enjoy it at Kaiser South (they're there Fridays), I'm sure I would have enjoyed it even more, so that makes me even more excited to try them again right after I order my Cornato! Food is good and people are super nice. But it's disappointing to spend over $50 and have the following issues. We were almost sent away with $20 of our order missing, thankfully this was caught prior to driving away and they made our missing items quickly. But getting home to find what was supposed to be 3 elotes to instead just be corn with mayo (missing cheese&chili powder). They also haphazardly put our food in so cups of food were placed in upside down. Tacos are always good though. If you're close, maybe it's worth it but wont be going out of my way anymore. Again, people are really nice and could tell they were working hard but too many mistakes for the money being spent. read more
