    Preparation of a suadero quesadilla.
    Jose Manuel C.

Came to my hometown to see my family, my dad apparently shows up to this place frequently. Apparently he's frequently going to a goldmine. They have the Al pastor turning, a grill, a flat iron, a choricera:basically everything that a taquero could have. Staff is quite friendly, cumbia music playing most of the time. My Mrs ordered a quesadilla of suadero(brisket). That was amazing even when you look at it via making process (see picture). The picture also happens to show their peppers, quite good. I ordered asada and chorizo, great flavors. I had 4/5 the salsas great job on those. The quesadilla was amazing I had to help my Mrs kill it. My dad and step mom order cabeza tacos so if they order those and come often that must be good as well. I've been to dozens of taco places, this place is on the top of places I've been to. 6/5 if I could. Definitely recommend for sure.

This place has a lot of potential. They have a great setup, with nice bright lighting and even seating/table. They have plenty of customers, so it's a good vibe. There's a healthy salsa bar/area with a few options. There's also a person selling bunuelos at the end. The al pastor is on a trompo, and that's always appreciated. The tortillas were just alright. A little overcooked on the grill. The meat was good, but it was just missing the extra oomph to get it five stars. There are taco places down the street on Fruitridge that have that punch that make it a 5 star place. If Tacos Garcia could get that extra bit, it'd be amazing. The other things about this place would make it stand out. The agua fresca I got was quite yummy. I'd recommend that if wanting an agua fresca to accompany your choice.

Hell yeah. Real ass tacos. Roll up. Get in line. Order the buche, or suadero, or...really anything. Burritos look bomb, but I've only gotten tacos. The fixings are at the table on the right. Load it up with onions, cilantro, salsas, and radish. Grab a soda from the shady liquor store in the back of the lot and feast.

Craving for late night tacos and burrito. And came across Tacos Garcia. Read many great reviews about their food and had to give them a try. Let me tell you! It was soo good!! We ordered 2 steak burritos and 5 steak tacos. They had many varieties of condiments and sauces which was self serve. And their burrito was packed with flavor! The sauce were also really good. I love they have pickled jalapeños! I love spice so it totally hit the spot with my burrito! This spot is located at the franks tire shop. They take zelle, cash app, and Venmo.

Located at Franks used tires parking lot. 6220 Fruitridge Rd, Sacramento, CA 95820 Bomb tacos and big burritos! Fresh and made to order. Meats to choose from: Asada Pastor Cabeza Chorizo Pollo Suadero Buche Tripa Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, mulitas, tortas. They have all the fresh toppings and salsas to add to your liking. They also have aguas frescas! They open at 5pm but usually they set up and cook the meats so it's more like 5:45 or 6pm but it's worth the wait. Bring cash.

At this point it feels like bait and switch -- why put it on the menu if you never have it? The low rating is mainly for the young lady at the register. She was rude, spent the whole time whispering to a guy who works there and laughing while looking at me. Felt disrespected as a customer. Found Beto's down the street instead. Decent food, decent prices, and they actually serve what's on their menu. Won't be back. 2. Short + Punchy No tripas, lengua, or cabeza. Ever. 4 visits in 7 days. Zero times did they have tripas, lengua, or cabeza. Starting to think the menu is false advertising. Register girl was rude too -- whispering + laughing at me with her coworker/BF the whole time. Beto's down the street has better food, better prices, and no attitude. Go there instead. 3. Balanced but Firm Frustrating experience Food here can be okay when they have it, but the inconsistency is a problem. I came 4 times in one week hoping for tripas, lengua, or cabeza and was told they were out every single time. If you don't carry menu items regularly, take them off the menu. Service also needs work. The teen at the register was whispering to another employee and laughing while taking my order. Made me uncomfortable. Beto's down the street doesn't have these issues -- they stock what they advertise and the service is solid.

The consistency and quality keep bringing us back. We ordered the Shrimp al Mojo de Ajo, Carnitas Torta Ahogada, and the Cielo, Mar y Tierra Fajitas. Every dish was delicious, packed with flavor, and prepared perfectly. The shrimp was well-seasoned, the torta ahogada was satisfying and full of flavor, and the fajitas offered an excellent combination of meats and seafood. One of the highlights of this restaurant is their salsa selection. They have some of the best salsas around, and the fresh chips paired with the grilled onions are the cherry on top. Those little extras make the experience even better. Great food, consistent flavors, and quality service every time. It's worth the drive for us, and we'll definitely continue stopping by whenever we're in the area.

And I cannot express in words how excited I was for this location to open up a few years back. So if you're tired from shopping head on over to the restaurant for delicious tacos! Or drop in for taco Tuesday when their street tacos are a little over $2 each. I usually order the carnitas (drooling, has the right amount of soft and crispy bites), carne asada, shrimp and fish tacos! I have also tried the quesadilla which is packed with meat so there's bang for my buck. They put a good amount of meat on the tacos and toppings as well, so I get full pretty fast because of all the protein. Can't forget to mention the complimentary, fresh salsa bar with the grilled onions and jalapeños! The chips are mostly fresh, I have gone on some days where it appears and tastes like the chips were double fried and stale. But overall, on most days, the chips are warm and fresh. The staff are friendly, hard-working and they keep the place spotless and clean! It's a taqueria I have gone to several times in the past and will keep going back to for the refreshing margaritas, yummy tacos and excellent customer service. FYI- I believe they offer slightly lower prices if you pay with cash versus paying with card so it might be a helpful thing to know for people who carry cash.
