    Chicken Rosa Pasta - NEW
    Alex W.

Corner Bakery always reminds me of Target. It's an upper middle class restaurant that isn't too expensive but makes you feel better about yourself after shopping there. Their coffee is usually just okay. Cafe Europa is the best in my opinion. I got the Chicken Pomodori Panini with the Chicken Rosa Pasta and both were really good. The panini was super crisp on the outside and basically perfectly toasted. The taste is what you would expect from a chain, but higher quality because of the fresher ingredients. The panini itself was good but lacked depth of flavor. It even had oven roasted tomatoes which is usually my favorite but it added little flavor. It was also slightly colder then I would like. The pasta was good but the tomato cream sauce left me wanting more. Red pepper flakes toasted or fried before I think would elevate this dish even on its own. Overall, don't expect a 5 star rating experience, but definitely expect to feel bougie and more like the person your mom always wanted you to be when you walk out.

Wow it seems like I have not been here in awhile. I was doing some appliance shopping down the street at Best Buy and wadi. Need of some refreshment. A good cup of coffee and the blueberry hand pies or the cinnamon rolls from Corner Bakery are what popped into my mind. I went into the store and there was not much of a selection at 2pm on a Sunday- no blueberry pies, no cinnamon rolls- nothing that I remember from pre pandemic days except the coffee cake. Ahhh the coffee cake- yes that came home with me!

This place is going to be my coffee, lunch, and study spot for the next year. The vibes are very relaxed and the inside is beautiful. Plenty of seating. The service was friendly and they have someone clearing tables and plates as you go. The food was delicious!! The avocado Cobb was light and fresh. The chicken pomodori was crispy and the flavor was to die for. The cream cheese brownie is served chilled and is creamy and chocolatey. I was so happy when I left!

First time stopping in after a flight from Dallas and I was ready for some brunch. After seeing good reviews, I decided to try it out. Customer service is good. I was greeted with smiles and they give you a card with a number, after you order, so that they can bring your food to your table, like a chick fil a. Food was hot and tasted okay. I expected more to be honest but the Anaheim Panini I ordered was way to oiled up with butter and that's what it tasted like. Not a lot going on in the inside of the panini either. They definitely weren't feeling generous. Next, for an extra $1 you can add a side of breakfast potatoes. From the picture, you can tell it's kinda sad. Overcooked and not much. The hazelnut cold brew was very watery and too much cream. I think I need a shot of expresso to add to it. However, I would give this place a try again . I will just have to try something different. I really enjoyed the environment, the lighting, the cleanliness, and the staff.

Good food, just make sure you order correctly or else you will have to wait 3-5 business days for any refunds when overcharged for items that were rung up wrong!

This afternoon I was treated to a lovely lunch and on this occasion I was more than pleased. We ordered the chicken pomodori and the green chili chicken paninis with a side of loaded potato soup. The flavors in both paninis paired so well with each other. The paninis are a bit on the small side but with the chips and potato soup it came out to a filling meal. The service was quick and the place was a bit crowded but that what I expected at 2pm.overall a delicious late lunch.

First Corner Bakery ever. Don't know why we haven't tried these establishments since January 2019. Maybe not as many options like IHOP or Denny's but offers more than Madeleines. Coffee selection is a lot more. Will continue to frequent this place.

I like eating here every now and then because their food is pretty good for a light lunch or breakfast. They have a few "ok" menu items but most of them are hits in my book. Their staff is usually pretty nice too and the place is usually really clean .The only thing that changed is the pick-up packaging. Instead of the old containers, they now wrap the food in foil and throw it in a brown paper bag, so every time I get a sandwich or panini, its always soggy :( not a huge problem. Other than that, I've never had a bad experience here.

Ordered the soup and salad combo. One of us had it filled to the top... mine is half full.

It's a cute spacious cafe with brunch-style decor, beautiful lighting, and various seating styles. The staff is pleasant and full of smiles as soon as you walk in. The cuisine is unique, seasoned well and will leave you wanting more and hard to make a decision. I had the lunch 1/2 special which included a half order of the chicken n' waffles entree paired with the jambalaya. The portion sizes of each were perfect, for me. The jambalaya was well seasoned and had much shrimp which was devine. The dish comes with an egg, I chose scrambled. As brunch girlie, I love a good cocktail! I got the Bloody Maria Made great by the way! It paired really well with the meal. Our server, Gabby was a delight! She was constantly checking in! Her kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I'm visiting El Paso for a few days from many many miles away and I will definitely be back to visit before I leave. Cheers!

I kept it classic with waffles, bacon, and eggs--and it absolutely hit the mark. The waffles were light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, the bacon was cooked just right, and everything came out fresh and satisfying. Simple comfort food done right. But what really elevated the experience was the atmosphere. They had live musical entertainment by Louie, who was incredible. He played a mix of hits from yesterday and today, moving effortlessly between country & western, contemporary favorites, and traditional Spanish songs. His versatility created a warm, lively environment that both staff and customers clearly enjoyed--it added something special you don't find everywhere. Service was just as impressive. Our server, XAY, had a bright, welcoming smile and provided outstanding service from start to finish. They offered great suggestions on local favorites and specials, which made the experience feel personal rather than routine. The vibe overall is relaxed, inviting, and very "El Paso"--a place where you can sit, enjoy your meal, and stay a while. Overall: Delicious, well-executed brunch classics Live music that enhances the experience (not overwhelms it) Exceptional, friendly service Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere Would I go back? I arrived just after 8:30 am, but there was plenty of room. I got seated at the bar, and got to see everything. I asked for coffee, and it came quick and hot. Then i took a look at the menu, but the nice thing about the bar is that you can see everything that was ordered get prepped. I ordered a pozole rojo. It was a good choice, according to me... it was a lot of food. It came with a slice of toasted and buttered bolillo bread. It was loaded with more pork, than hominy - a lot. The server came by to ask if I needed a box. The Junction is a diner, with a railroad ambiance. Plenty of train station themes, I think there were a lot of clocks on the wall - but I don't think that they were working... or that they were on time. I noticed a couple of plates that I would want to try... the chicken fried steak, the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs on top, peach cobber side, the fresh biscuit with chipotle butter. It all looked good. The breakfast tacos seemed basic, but a lot of folks ordered them - they must know. There is seating inside, table and bar, and outside under the shade. I saw enough that I would return with Liz (...and the kids). I recommend, but I do recommend getting there early. It's a popular locale.

I have enjoyed everything I have tried so far. The classic burger is juicy and the beef has a great flavor. The southwest scrambler also had a great blend of flavors. I added bacon strips on the side. It did not disappoint. The flavor of the bacon was a great addition. Everything tastes better with bacon! I was simple with my drink order and had an orange mimosa (several). Great flavor. Makes it difficult to get just one. They do offer other flavors and flights along with many other cocktail choices and beer. I recently tried the steak and eggs, a new menu item. You have options when you order. I ordered mine with scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon (of course), and toast with my medium steak. The eggs were delicious and so fluffy. The flavor of the bacon went so well with the eggs and the potatoes. I like steaks. To me, the flavor of the steak was missing something compared to the rest of the plate. This has been the only time that I have not finished everything on the plate. I'm sure the seasoning of the steak will improve . I'm not saying the flavor was bad making the steak inedible. The flavor was just not to my liking. This does not stop me from returning and I still highly recommend that you stop by. I haven't gotten to the prices! I have been to brunch in many places across the country and in Texas. Sadly, many are disappointing and seem to feel that because it's "brunch" they can over charge for their plates and especially their drinks. I am so glad Nomel does not.
