    Florentine Omelet

I can't believe it took me this long to try this place! The food was fantastic--I had a great omelet, and my husband had the chilaquiles, which were juicy like they'd make them in Mexico City. The service from Benjamin was outstanding. We ordered coffee with oat milk, and he even steamed the milk--such a pleasant surprise. It was really good and so was the actual coffee from 2TEN beans. I was able to make a reservation, so there was no wait at all. Overall, a breeze from start to finish. My new go to brunch spot!

So the hours online are wrong. Brunch on Saturday starts at 9 currently. So we waited the 15 mins until they opened. When they did open the door, the staff in the back was loudly complaining about opening. We ordered our food and it did come out quickly. I got the grape salad which was a large portion and good. I will say the service was subpar the entire time and they're also wasn't good communication were they didn't really ask everyone if they wanted anything additionally. We felt more of an inconvenience to them for being there. Everyone else felt the food was ok but nothing to go out of the way for.

Order a salad with steak cooked medium and it came out medium well. Order a hamburger and it was burnt.

Great place to go with a pup. Service was a little slow but nothing to complain about. Food was great except the steak Benedict ate more like a mash. The hash brown didn't really hold up to be a muffin alternative. But for 28$ with a beer and a side of sausages I'll take it

Updated review of dessert. I didn't see a picture of the seasonal dessert so I wanted to post it. I just want to say that the chicken fried chicken I had today was juicy. Usually fried chicken like that taste dry. It wasn't and the mashed potatoes were good as well as the veggies. Good size portion not over whelming. The dessert was good. I really liked the cajeta that was on it but the cake to me was a little dry.

My roommate works at this restaurant and my girlfriend used to work here so Ripe is something that consistently comes up in my life regardless if I want it to lol. Ripe is a solid family/friend hangout type place that ranges between sort of nice and casual. Food: $$ Ripe's food in my opinion is always just shy of greatness. I've had their eggs Benny, one of their burgers, and recently their pesto shrimp pasta and every single dish just seems like it's missing something. They are delicious, no doubt, but I constantly have this question in my mind of, "what could they have added to really let this dish explode." With this is mind, all of their food is pretty good with fresh tasting ingredients and different dishes, but I always leave feeling like I wanted more. Atmosphere: There are plenty of tables in the restaurant but there is also an outdoor seating area that allows more. This is a restaurant that I feel I would much prefer eating inside because the inside is just nicer than the somewhat claustrophobic outdoor area. The wall when you walk in is lined with available wine and the wall decor is nice with a black and mural type art on it. Service: I always appreciate the servers at Ripe because I've always had someone who genuinely seems like they care about my dining experience and that I get the best food for the day. All good things here.

We went for an evening workout and were starving but also wanted a glass of good wine, so we found Ripe for the first time! What a find! We sat outside on their lovely patio and had such a good post workout bliss. Jesus was one of the best servers we've ever had in el paso and beyond. He was perfectly attentive but also gave great suggestions and in general his brightness and joy for the work he was doing showed. The whole staff seemed happy and ready to help and that always shows good leadership. I dont want to eat at a place where the leadership makes the staff miserable. But Ripe seems to really have something good going. Pretty darn good wine list! And wine Wednesdays you can get really excellent bottles half off! The fooooooood! The menu was so unique and not like every other menu. It was hard to pick but I got the asparagus ravioli. It probably ruined my workout but I didn't care. Worth it! The sauce was velvety, the pasta was delicious and the veggies were not.overcooked and truly added to the dish. My wife got the black bean and while her fav is still Joe Vinneys, she really enjoyed this one. The fries are her new favorite in town. We can't wait to go back and try out the many excellent sounding menu items. See yall next Wednesday!

The staff is very friendly and attentive. Their menu items are great and have an enjoyable twist. I'm a bit hooked on their guacamole and zucchini fries. I have enjoyed everything I have tried so far. The classic burger is juicy and the beef has a great flavor. The southwest scrambler also had a great blend of flavors. I added bacon strips on the side. It did not disappoint. The flavor of the bacon was a great addition. Everything tastes better with bacon! I was simple with my drink order and had an orange mimosa (several). Great flavor. Makes it difficult to get just one. They do offer other flavors and flights along with many other cocktail choices and beer. I recently tried the steak and eggs, a new menu item. You have options when you order. I ordered mine with scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon (of course), and toast with my medium steak. The eggs were delicious and so fluffy. The flavor of the bacon went so well with the eggs and the potatoes. I like steaks. To me, the flavor of the steak was missing something compared to the rest of the plate. This has been the only time that I have not finished everything on the plate. I'm sure the seasoning of the steak will improve . I'm not saying the flavor was bad making the steak inedible. The flavor was just not to my liking. This does not stop me from returning and I still highly recommend that you stop by. I haven't gotten to the prices! I have been to brunch in many places across the country and in Texas. Sadly, many are disappointing and seem to feel that because it's "brunch" they can over charge for their plates and especially their drinks. I am so glad Nomel does not. The location is not conveniently close to the highway, but it is definitely worth the drive.

We had the pulled pork bao tacos for an appetizer, which were perfection - I could have just eaten them all night. I have been to Mas y Menos 4 or 5 times now, and every time I hope that my experience will be better than the last but, sadly, it disappoints every time. The Pros: The space is spacious and bright, the ambiance is nice, they have free WiFi. Nice work space. The Cons: Every coffee I've ordered (usually a cappuccino) has been almost undrinkable. Acidic with an unpleasant aftertaste. Ordered a matcha last time instead, which was a better choice. The service has been disappointing. Every. Damn. Time. The place has never been full, but at each visit I've been kept waiting for an unreasonable amount of time. One time my husband and I went only for a glass of wine and were kept waiting 20 minutes for the person behind the counter to pour the wine. Went again yesterday. Friends who arrived and ordered before I did were kept waiting for their sandwich longer than I waited for mine. When my avocado toast was served, the toast was cold. Really hope that the owner(s) see this message and do something to make improvements. If the service, and the quality of the coffee and food were better, I would be here all the time, given that I live just up the road.
