    Maple Pecan bundt cake

Have you ever tasted a bundt cake that was moist and flavorful. The spices you could not only smell but taste. Flavor explosion !!! Then on top of that they warm it up and deliver it to the table. The icing and pecans drizzled perfectly on top. I hate that I couldn't get one to go and bring back to Kansas Ciity with me. The lemon bundt cake smelled divine. Simply put, I need another one. Will certainly visit if I make it back to Houston. Those who live in or near downtown Houston if you haven't already, please try one. Oh, and they have coffee... and other assorted drinks, BUT the bundt cake stole the show for me.

The food has consistently been very good, enjoyable and plentiful. The food is made carefully and is illustrative in the delivery and presence of the dish. Everything we've ordered has great flavor, spices and pleasant tastes. Service is great too. The staff work in a busy downtown so they have to be good, fast and agile - which they all are. Friendly and helpful. No complaints. It's a busy cafe made for small groups but in sure if your needed to fit a group of 6 or so in, you could. The atmosphere and divina dining area still are very comfortable and relaxing. Overall, a good recommendation when visiting downtown Houston.

I know I've had many 4 star ratings lately...but I just haven't been experiencing anything that bad. Corner bakery is a prime example! This is one of my favorite lunch spots to go to when I'm working downtown. (I guess I kinda always say that? ‍) little pricey, a sandwich, chips and drink will set you back around $12 or so, but the quality is always consistent. I like to get either the BBLT (double bacon lettuce tomato) or the uptown turkey avocado sandwich. They have several salads and pasta bowls as well. The breakfast menu looks really good but I haven't tried anything from it. There are lots of cookies and cakes and breads, once in a while they'll handout free cookies after a short phone survey ‍ the downtown location has a nice upstairs with a view that allows u to people watch all diff things passing by

The workers are very nice and polite! The food was great but the portions look bigger online. The seating was very clean and many options available.

I miss Corner Bakery so much! I used to live in CA and frequented their many locations, unfortunately we don't have one in Albuquerque, NM. So you can imagine my happiness when sent to Houston for work, and found they have Corner Bakery! I ordered my favorite sandwich, chicken pesto and it was super delicious. One sandwich is plenty of food for two servings, so I had two dinners for the price of one. Please come to Albuquerque!

I feel head over heels in love with the catered meal from the local restaurant for the Mayors Office Event Downtown on Friday December the 8th. The food was great the options of 4 different types of sandwiches was incredible, the many different desserts were devine especially the brownie. My daughter loves all the cookie flavor options. I can wait to visit a location in person.

Comfortable seating inside, but some areas feel a little tight if you need to walk past others standing around. Their coffee was definitely some of the best tasting in the area. Their process works! Getting just a black coffee still had great flavor, almost a sweetness from the beans, and ZERO burnt flavor. The main letdown for me was the breakfast taco. I ordered bacon and egg but had a hard time finding any bacon. My husband got the steak and egg and that one was MUCH better, with a 50/50 egg to steak ratio. Tortilla was soft and delicious, but the salsa added most of the flavor on either choice.

The flat white is not to be missed with a thick espresso foam left in your cup with the last few sips. Their iced latte, a common favorite, is also excellent with the perfect balance between espresso and milk. You know it's good when it still tastes excellent even after the ice melts a little bit. While they do charge an extra $0.95 for alternative milks (boo!), they have pistachio milk which is honestly the supreme coffee milk. It's totally worth it. Located directly across the street from Discovery Green, parking can be a bit tricky. I recommend downloading the ParkHouston app and grabbing a street parking spot around the corner. It's just $0.70 for 15 minutes of parking and you can easily add time through the app from your current location. Definitely check them out!

The difference beverages you don't find at every cafe shop. They had some pastries and other "snack" items. They also sell wine but starting at 11 am. The inside is a bit small so it's more of a grab to go place. They don't have that many tables. The parking in this area isn't free you have to pay for parking at the meter. I tried their simple avocado toast with cream cheese and that was good as expected. It's a little pricey for something like this at $10. For the drinks I tried the Les fleur which is an early gray matcha drink and that was by far my favorite. The creaminess from the earl gray salt foam really blended well with the matcha. The drink was even aesthetically pleasing. I would come here just for this drink. The other drink I tried was the Uji city fizz. I would say pass on this drink if you don't like yuzu in your matches and lattes. It didn't suit my palate. It had a refreshing taste but the flavors didn't mesh well for me. I'm still giving this place a 5/5 because this is just a taste preference even though this particular drink was a 2/5 for me.
