    Chicken Noodle Soup
    ZelandCaton -.

All I wanted was a nice fool-proof lunch, and I was dissatisfied. The chicken pesto sandwich was the only thing from my entire meal I would eat again. I ordered a side caesar salad and received a salad which consisted of fresh and old leaves. The chicken noodle soup was a full on disappointment. Canned Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup would be gourmet in comparison. The noodles and chicken were an interesting shade of brown, and one bite was enough for me. Will not be going to Corner Bakery again.

I went for breakfast, so my review is based on that experience alone. I've heard their lunch and dinner is great, and I will more than likely come back here to try for myself. I was very impressed with the breakfast menu of this restaurant. They had great hearty options with healthy alternatives as well. I love that they have chicken apple sausage as a bacon alternative. I thoroughly enjoyed that absolutely every part of my breakfast panini was fresh; the eggs, the avocado, the tomatoes, the bread, heck even the cheese was real fresh sliced cheese instead of the normal "cheese alternative" most restaurants use. The chicken apple sausage was absolutely delicious. The interior of the restaurant was cozy as well. I did have one complaints: the bottom slice of half my panini was soggy from grease. Other than that everything was great. Would love to go back for breakfast.

I usually ALWAYS love Corner Bakery back home in Dallas, but this Corner Bakery is not very good at all.. First off, when I walked in it smelled so gross. The restaurant literally smelled of vomit which made nothing on the menu sound even remotely appetizing. Secondly, I stood at the counter for several minutes before I was approached by someone to take my order. Third, when I finally got my food the bread on my panini was burnt and my friends were missing parts of their order. Eating that bitter burnt bread was not the best experience. I was just so disappointed the whole time was there, and I hate giving places low ratings but this Corner Bakery definitely deserves it.

Not bad but not in love here... I can take or leave the salad I got.. it's a odd combo of fruit & greens with cream cheese (I think) the dressing on it is good I'm not sure what it is tho... my baby seems to like her banana muffin & my son said his chilly is good but not as good as Nannas chilly...

So good!! I love their cookies and the lunch is really, really great. Service is mediocre, but the products are so good I'll come back.

No stars wasn't an option. 8 dollars for a lap over and half a bag of chips. Seriously? Hipster trash, get some French fries and real food.

From the fried catfish, to the massive chicken fried steak, we all enjoyed our meals. They also have several different kinds of cobbler available.

The staff is super friendly! The restaurant is a quaint little cafe with a country feel! You can certainly tell that there is some home cooking going on in there. They have a vast menu that includes daily specials and barbecue. If I'm not mistaken, it is the only place serving barbecue in the area. The daily special on Sundays is pot roast. They also had a November special going on for the entire month which was Turkey and dressing, cranberry sauce, two sides, and a roll for $10.99. I placed an order of the turkey and dressing meal to go for my husband. I chose black eye peas and okra as the sides. It also came with a roll and turkey gravy. The portion sizes are a bit small. But it was all pretty good. The black eye peas are delicious! I ordered the 2 meat barbecue plate with sliced brisket and smoked sausage, potato salad, and baked beans. It also came with a roll and three barbecue sauces to have on the table. The hot and spicy was my favorite! It was not very spicy but had just the right amount of tanginess that I prefer. The sweet was my least favorite. The original is okay as well. The brisket was smoky and tender but the pieces were a bit small. The sausage was good! The potato salad needed some salt and pepper but was quite good as well. The baked beans were delightful! I do wish the portion sizes were a bit larger. And some onions and pickles on the side would have really been nice! But for $13.99, it was not bad at all! My daughter chose the popcorn shrimp appetizer (which came with quite a large mount in a basket over fries) and the popcorn shrimp salad. She's been on a popcorn shrimp kick lately! The shrimps were huge for being "popcorn shrimp"! The cocktail sauce was delicious! The ranch is also good. The fries were nice and crispy! And her salad was fresh and covered in plenty of shrimp. We chose to take some desserts home as well. We chose cookies and cream pie slice, a mini cherry cheesecake, and peach cobbler. All three were delicious! We will definitely be back to try some other menu options!
