Had an absolutely great visit to this small town. One of the highlights was breakfast at Corner Booth. It was as busy as any big city place like this but the interior let me know this place was special. Lots of old-timey signs and memorabilia gave it an authentic rural atmosphere. Our server, Bobby, was a terrific guy, very attentive and conversational. His service was a 10. I ordered the Veggie Omelette. It was cooked "wet", just the way I like it. There were a lot of veggies and it was tasty. The hash brown potatoes were thick, very crispy on the outside, with a soft, almost mashed potato texture on the inside. The coffee refills were frequent and welcomed. Even the owner stopped by with a refill. He was a busy as any of the servers, not just standing around. It was an overall delightful experience. If I lived closer, this would be my regular place. Hope to visit again. read more

Food was really good we ordered a cheese burger with fries and chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and gravy. The chicken tenders were the flat ones so this made my wife extra happy. Staff was really friendly helpful and the place was clean. My only down concern was the charge of $9.25 for my fries. Didn't have time to take the ticket back to ask about because they close at 2. We r here for a couple of days for business and really want to try their breakfast but not sure we'll have time before leaving town. Update. First time I ate here on a Saturday. Food and food was good. Not much of a wait. Went today July 5. Had a waiting list. After waiting about 30 minutes a table is ready. Got seated and the waitress was there taking our drink orders. Drinks came quick ordered our food. We waited for an hour before being served. Food was hot and good. Waitress apologized for the slow service. Setting there watching we figured that their kitchen is small. And they were packed!! Will return in the future. read more

Absolute best place to get breakfast in Hardy Arkansas. Make sure not to park on Main Street and instead park in the rear parking area. It will give you much easier access to the restaurant without having to worry about getting a mirror broken off with a busy main street parking. read more

What a hidden gem! Lots of charm on the inside and food was plenty and at a great price. This is the last sizable town before you get to the Missouri border. This was a super fun spot with tons of kitschy decor on the walls. We ate breakfast here two days in a row. Our servers were super attentive both times and we got our food within 10 minutes from ordering, maybe even faster. The food is exactly what you would want and expect from a diner. read more

This place is a given. My parents car tripped around Arkansas from NJ when I was a kid, and they found this place and LOVED IT. ( We we're home with family.) I moved to AL when I was 18, abs soon met my Husband to be. And small world, his Grandparents grew up in the area ( Mammoth Springs and Sitka) and this is their favorite breakfast spot! They took me here when we came to Arkansas the first time! When I told my folks about it I was surprised to find out they had been there! Now every time we come to town we go! Six dollars for 4 triangles (not Texas toast size) of bland french toast. Four dollars for 3 slices of paper-thin bacon. Creamer for coffee was expired. White clumps in my coffee (yuck). Passing through Hardy at lunch on our way to Memphis. Nice to see an old diner with historical character. Very friendly, attentive staff. Maintenance so-so ... restrooms in bad shape and not very clean. Rueben sandwich and country fried steak were pretty good, but expect fries from frozen stock, canned green beans and other pre-prepared sides. But hey, the prices are very low and it appears to be family run. Interesting shops line the street. Other reviews suggest breakfast may make this place worth an early morning stop. read more

Not a fan. Had the Special. Chicken fried chicken (served lukewarm at best), green beans ( canned ) lovely can taste, fried squash ( frozen ) tasted like fried in old grease. Roll was good, was griddle grilled and strawberry shortcake (hard biscuit with frozen strawberries) Nothing prepared fresh. Everything warmed up from can or frozen. Hamburger was okay. Small, what you would expect on a kids menu. French Fries were battered. They were good and hot. Iced tea was excellent. Service was spotty. The kitchen seemed to be a happy place. Lots of loud singing and proclaiming only two more hours till they get off. Maybe their breakfast is better. It's served all day. Just not a fan of everything prepackaged. My family lives in Hardy while I'm in Texas so I'm here once or twice a year. I always make time to at the corner Booth stop here to eat. It stays busy so be prepared to wait for a table. The dining room has been enlarged in recent years. Dress is very casual and the atmosphere is charming and friendly. I feel like they serve a little of everything and prices are low so you can take your family of 5 and not worry about busting your budget. The food is "home cooking" type, but keep in mind, it is not a steak house. I would definitely recommend including this gem for breakfast at least once during your stay. read more

I don't recall if I have been here before but I think I have been. The waffle was pretty good ... Very good it was. After I finished I failed to notice the specials board but oh well haha. The waffle with strawberry an Creme was good. Biscuits are just okay same with the gravy. The building is historical. I would recommend getting their breakfast special for $2.00 or $2.50 It's one egg, sasauge , bread, hashbrowns. I wouldn't mind trying a special out next time. Love this little mom-n-pop. They serve breakfast during all open hours and also have lunch specials like meatloaf, etc. Wait staff is very friendly and will banter back and forth with me which is fun. Wonderful ambiance with wrap-around windows makes for a nice dining area. I had the country fried steak special but got brown heavy instead of white. The hit at our table though was the reuben. Absolutely love coming to the Corner Booth in Hardy. So much history and happiness in such a cozy little space. The locals are always welcoming and the service is always good. A wide variety of homemade options await at this little cafe. This time I ordered the Ham and Cheese Melt with fries and a side salad. The sandwich was tasty and toasted perfectly. The fries were fresh and crispy. The side salad however was nothing more than bagged iceberg served with packaged dressing. The decor is antique/fun and the service is always fabulous. Food is budget friendly and no one leaves hungry. We visit this cafe a couple times a year and are never disappointed. read more

What a cute Mom and Pop gem on Main Street with reasonable prices! We were able to seat ourselves immediately and the server came immediately for our drink order. We ate breakfast and had the country fried chicken platter with white gravy and a country egg with corned beef hash; has was cooked just to the right crispness and my husband enjoyed his fried chicken platter. Good food and atmosphere. We spent the weekend floating on Spring River with friends. We were looking for local café on our way out of town and found this place. Plenty of parking in the back. Plenty of seating. They told us it'd take a while to get our food, but good coffee was served immediately and we chatted and enjoyed the place until our food arrived. The servings are plentiful and cooked just right. I had a western omelette and biscuits with gravy. She had chocolate chip pancakes. They were huge! We'll return for sure. read more
