Small hidden gem. Best corned beef hash I have ever had. Fresh tender chunks of corned beef perfectly seasoned with great potatoes, biscuit and gravey was also amazing, like grandma used to make..really big pieces of sausage in the gravey. The crew at the Corner Cafe is awesome. We've used them for a couple of different events. Their food is always delicious. We get many compliments on the quality of the food and the presentation. This is our second time eating here while in the area and it was great! The service is incredible from all staff. One can tell that they take great pride in their quality of food and service. We've had the breakfast both times which exceeds popular chains like snooze, etc. The price point is very good for the quality. If passing through the area it is well worth the stop from I-5. Great food and good prices and wonderful, warm service. Three of us had eggs Benedict, an omelette, and chicken fried steak. Side dishes included hash browns, fruit, wonderful thick bread/toast. What a surprise! My wife had the Reuben sandwich and I had the corned beef and eggs breakfast. Both were made with their homemade corn beef--which was really delicious! The place is a little hard to find--the lower right-hand corner of a credit union, but well worth the search. Even though we are staying in Portland, the food was so good, we are planning to stop back this weekend on our way to Seattle. read more

There's a reason this place is highly rated, the food and service are both outstanding. We've been there 3 times now and everything has been great. The Breakfast menu is unique as almost all items are available in a "petite" option that really makes sense for a lot of us. It's a little out of the way, but worth it! read more

Food is ok, not as expected. Chipotle dressing is way too salted, coffee tastes like a cheap hotel coffee. Benedict eggs are just ok, they use ham instead of Canadian bacon and the most importan is hollandaise and it sauce does not have much flavor. Service is good and friendly. The food was fresh, fast and good. I had the Reuben sandwich and there was plenty of meat and the corned beef in it was excellent. The prices were very reasonable. Our waitress was friendly and our drinks were refilled without even having to ask. I will be going back the next time I'm in Longview. I want to try their breakfasts. Yum read more

Excellent!!! We found this on Yelp and came for breakfast. It is located in the corner of the credit union building. Outdoor seating which is dog friendly. Our Sheltie loved it! Bathroom is spotless. French toast was great as was bisquits and gravy. Very friendly personnel. Glad we came here!! read more

I will not be returning to this establishment. My co-worker and I went in a little before 2. I'm guessing after lunch rush, because our table still had left over crumbs on it and our silverware which was wrapped in napkin was half open. This was both our first time at the restaurant and we've heard great things, so we reviewed the menu. I got the french dip and my co-worker got the club house sandwich. The wait was not very long and now I know why, my french dip was a little cold in the middle, as if it microwaved? On top of my food not being completely finished, our waitress had the most snobbiest attitude I think I have ever experienced in such a hole in the wall restaurant. Looking at all the reviews and from friends recommendations, I was a little baffled. Also, they pushed super hard on us to get some latte's and fancy espresso drinks at almost 2 pm? The prices for their espresso are absolutely ridiculous, so even if I were to come in the morning hours, I wouldn't waste 5 bucks on a coffee at a restaurant with my food there is a time and place for an espresso coffee and it's not with a meal. All in all, experience was not the greatest. Floors and tables were dirty, crew seemed to just wanna get you in and get you out. Thankfully it didn't put a hole in my wallet. read more

My husband & I found this gem of a restaurant on Yelp. The food is delicious. We like food made fresh with wholesome ingredients and this fit the bill. We ate at the Corner Cafe 2 days in a row on our road trip around the west. My husband had 2 different hash dishes. I had steak & eggs one day, & a BLT with a cup of homemade turkey rice soup the next. They bake their own bread. Coffee is good too! read more
