Randomly found this restaurant since we needed to charge the car. Each kebab plate comes with a choice of two sides, some pita, and a lentil soup. We ordered a Corner Special Plate and a Beef Lule Kebab Plate. For sides, we got hummus, cucumber yogurt, Greek feta salad, and eggplant dip. No regrets on anything we ordered. I feel like most Mediterranean restaurants fall into two camps - normal sized portions or large shareable sizes. This one was the latter and our family of four (2 adults, 2 tweens) was satisfied with two plates. Next time we come here, definitely want to try the lamb options.

Everything tastes fresh and properly grilled, the way a true neighborhood kebab house should be. Service is warm and efficient, and you can tell it's loved by the community--there's always a steady stream of locals coming in, which says a lot. The kebab here are delicious. I was finally able to try this place for lunch and it did not disappoint. The staff were very friendly and polite with us. My wife and I came here after her doctor appointment because it's in the same plaza. They were not busy for a Friday afternoon, we were the only guest inside. The dining experience inside is very nice and peaceful. My wife got the chicken kebab plate with hummus and macaroni. I got the beef lule kebab plate with Shirazi and French fries. They make it fresh right when you order so it can take like 10 minutes or so for the food to come out. We ate our food inside of the place so they brought our dish out to us. They also give us complimentary lentil soup for my wife. We both really like how seasoned the chicken and beef lule kebab were. We'll be sure to come back again to try another dish. There tons of parking inside the plaza this restaurant is in so you shouldn't have any issues finding a spot.

The lentil soup was delicious being able to dip my lavash into it. The corner special was good chicken was tender not dry. The meat was good as well wished it was a little bit more seasoned. Cucumber yogurt had great flavor, the hummus, and fries as well. My friend had the salmon which was also cooked and tasted good. Service was quick, the location was well decorated didn't feel like you were in San Fernando. Overall a good experience however a bit pricey.

The service and ambiance was beautiful and wonderful , 3/5 was solely based on the food not anything else. We ordered two corner specials (beef and chicken combo) the chicken tasted like mustard while the beef was tuff. Both the salads we got were delicious , the coleslaw was good, but the hummus which is usually the star of my show was lacking, it was salty and did not taste like I've enjoyed it in the past.

Quality wise the food was really good. The beef was juicy and had good flavor. The chicken was also juicy, and I liked the seasoning on it. I like that you get a ton of options for sides, the macaroni salad was delicious; the corn salad was interesting haha. Service and atmosphere was very nice, you order yourself at the front but they do still serve you your food to whatever table you pick. And in actual dishes and not plastic like other order yourself places. It was very calm vibe inside. Relaxing music, relaxing videos on the TV. It is a bit small, but enough space to walk around. They have a nice seating area too for takeout The only reason I am hesitant about coming back is the price. I've gone to multiple Mediterranean places with the same quality for cheaper. Sam's Flaming Grill for example. So I think this place is good for every once in awhile due to the ambience and service but I wouldn't make it my go to.

Armond and his team have it down...All of it! You feel welcome and appreciated when you walk in, always with a suggestion or help on your order and a smile. The kebabs are always cooked to perfection (never over or under,) cooked by Henry and staff. The sides are always fresh, cold and plentiful. The lentil soup, lavash and pita all taste authentic and the whole experience is great. And served quick, hot and delish. I've been going for 10+ years and will continue to. Sooo good!

I tried one cube and one chicken and was really disappointed. II was looking forward to trying the filet so I ordered the Corner Special. The beef was very tough and had no flavor. The chicken was ok. Rice was dry. I hate to say that my experience was not pleasant. The Shirazi need salt and acid, the tabouli tasted stale. Probably will not be coming back.

Went to corner kebab for work lunch and Loved the food!!! We ordered chicken Sultani kebab plate , eggplant dip and another chicken kebab plate. As soon as we sat they served us a warm cup of delicious lentil soup with pita bread!!!! Service is timely and friendly. Soon enough our food arrived and i loved every bite of it!! Plates are large and comes with two sides. We were happy customers and i was sad that i had not been there even though it's close by to work. Well that will change now and they will see me more often! Loved the quiet ambiance with great service!! Looking forward to many more visits!! read more

One place you would least expect to find an outstanding Middle Eastern Restaurant is in San Fernando.The Corner Kebab at 733 South Workman is a hidden gem. The food was excellent and the prices reasonable. It is located in a large shopping center with of free parking. Everyone was started off with a piping hot bowl of home made lentil soup. Delicious!!! The Kebab Plate (Chicken for me) was well seasoned and came with rice and two sides. Great service, clean and fresh, nothing fancy just good food. They also have wraps of most of the menu choices as the plates. The service was excellent and they made sure all of us were happy with our food. Call first to check on hours and they will even reserve a table for you so after you order, you sit and wait for your food to arrive. They are open on Sunday as well, just till 6PM. Call ahead to be sure of the hours. read more

I didn't know this place was only a couple of minutes from my office. I'll be eating here ALL the time. Everything was delicious. We had the various chicken and beef kabobs. The kebabs were perfectly seasoned and cooked. The rice was delicious and NOT a pilaf. Side dishes (shirazi, eggplant dip, tabbouleh, yoghurt with cucumbers) were very delicious. I didn't love the dolma, but then again, I never liked dolmas, even when my mom made it I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised to enjoy EVERYTHING we ordered. I've been going to this place for a few years and in my opinion, it one of, if not the best, place for kebabs! PROS: - The food is ALWAYS fresh and flavorful. -The place is clean and welcoming. - The prices are inexpensive considering the quality and freshness of the food (ESPECIALLY RIGHT NOW THAT FOOD IS EXPENSIVE AT THE STORE. I'm surprised they haven't raised their prices in order to make a decent profit). - The staff is always nice. CONS: - The place gets very busy around lunch and dinner. - If you have less than 10 minutes to wait, after you order your food, it might have to wait a little longer. But then again, everything is fresh and well with the wait. As always, this is only my opinion and I encourage you to try it out for yourself. read more

Pretty solid Mediterranean place. Their beef kebab is great and they give free lentil soup as an appetizer. Very comfortable seating and ease of ordering. I only wish that their dips wouldn't be counted as sides, so I can order both hummus and yogurt and a true side like cucumber salad. read more

My Favorite go to place in the Valley!! When grandma was at Providence Holy Cross, I would always swing by and get my Chicken Kabob with extra Garlic. It's a restaurant I always recommend & my 92 yr old Boss loves it, especially their Lentil Soup. We always get Excellent Service!!! read more

Probably my fav Kebab in the entire valley! My absolute favorite dish to eat from them is the Beef Luke Kebab plate. The kebabs are soooo juicy and the seasoning is amazing. They also have the best basmati rice. I always ask for extra because it's THAT GOOD. I've never been to the restaurant because I've only ordered from here through Grub hub but I will definitely come in person soon. I highly recommend and the prices are reasonable and the food always arrives pipping hot to my door. read more

I finally got to try this place for the first time and it did not disappoint. The interior was beautiful, great ambiance ! I myself am a very picky eater and get iffy about trying new restaurants, but this place had spectacular food ! Jasmine took my order and was patient and very helpful when it came to debating what would be the best choice for a side dish, she recommended the cucumber yogurt and it was delicious ! The manager Armond was extremely polite and welcoming when we picked up our order as well. I highly recommend coming here and will definitely be back soon for a dine-in meal to get to truly enjoy the ambiance and service. I will also definitely recommend this place to all friends and family. read more

Stumbled upon this place, and my family loved it The service was fantastic and the woman working the register was very kind. She took great care of us throughout our meal We ordered the combination plate, corner plate, and gyro plate. Meat was juicy and tender. Hummus was flavorful. Loved the salads and pasta salad. I didn't knock any stars for that since the restaurant has no control over people outside but just a warning for people with families.

This restaurant is definitely one of my favorites! Their Kebabs are delicious and well seasoned and cooked, their pita bread is great, I also love their spinach yogurt & shirazi salad. They offer complimentary lentil soup which hits the spot! The place is always clean and customer service is excellent; we've gone a couple times right before they're closing but they never turn us away and they always take care of us. One of the best things about this place is that they offer 2 sides whereas most Kebab houses just give you rice & your choice of kebab and a grilled tomato on the side. I used to work in the area which meant I was a usual here at corner kebab. Solid middle eastern food, good chicken, hummus and rice....well at least relative to the area *wink wink* Having this place around when I worked in the area was a god send because there was virtually no other restaurant that was good, not ONE!
