    Ground beef kebab
    Peter X.

I stopped by this Fresh Grill for lunch on a Sunday afternoon so I could use my coupon that I got from their booth at the Yelp Carn Evil event . I went with the ground beef kebab wrap and asked for no pickles. I was told it would take about 15 minutes which I already knew it would be a long wait because they will make it when you order it. So I will recommend that you place your order ahead of time to avoid waiting long at the place. The place isn't that big so I believe most people just do pickup here. Customer service was fine when I was here. Parking isn't the best in this plaza unless you come early. A lot of cars double park or don't park properly in this plaza. I thought the wrap was okay but I didn't like the sauce that much. I will try the plate next time. The wrap also come with a salad and I thought it was fine.

I just love Fresh Grill Mediterranean! First of all, they're consistent across their restaurants, and it shows that they have really good quality control over their ingredients, workflow, and cooking. But more importantly, their food is delicious and priced well, too! My favorite is the Kebab combination and unlike many Middle Eastern restaurant, this plate is not north of $25. And you actually get not just 2 different kebabs, but 3! Ok, technically the Shish Kebab and Boneless Chicken are half size, but it's great for variety, and thankfully they are both savory and delicious! This is especially noticeable with the chicken which is an extra plus for me since at more than a few other places the boneless chicken kebab tend to be a bit dry. Not so with Fresh Grill, though! For the last kebab, you get a choice of ground beef or chicken, and the lady rightfully suggested the beef. Lots of flavor packed in that kebab, too! Finally, you get rice, hummus, pita, and salad to complete out the meal, and it really is a full meal that at $21.99 is actually a very good value. I left very satisfied, and I'll definitely be back to any of the Fresh Grill Mediterranean location!

This spot is located in a busy center with plenty of food options, but it stood out as a healthier choice--and I'm so glad I tried it! They serve fresh halal, Mediterranean-style food. I ordered the boneless chicken wrap, which comes with chicken breast, tzatziki (yogurt sauce), lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes (I got mine without tomatoes). The wrap was absolutely delicious--the chicken was juicy, flavorful, and the portion was generous. It also came with a fresh side salad dressed in a unique thousand island-style dressing that tasted homemade and light. The veggies were crisp and refreshing, which tied the whole meal together perfectly. The staff were very kind, the space was clean, and my food came out quickly--about 10 minutes even during a lunch rush. The restaurant is small with some low background music, so it's not ideal for groups larger than four unless you don't mind sitting separately. Parking seemed plentiful. Because the chicken and sauce are both juicy, the wrap might get a bit soft if you're taking it to-go, so a plate might be a better choice for takeout. Overall, I'd definitely come back to try more from their menu! If I could ask for anything else, it would be to make calorie counts available--since they market themselves as a "fresh" option, it would be really helpful for those trying to make mindful or health-conscious choices.

I have been to the other location several times. This was my first time ordering food at this location. Food as always it was very tasteful and yummy. I ordered beef kebab and falafel. Both of them were fresh and delicious. I really love their salad dressing, I don't know what they put in their dressing. It tastes really good, I am not a big fan of dressings, but I really love Fresh Grill's salad dressing. I can give ten stars for dressing. For service, I walked in and greeted the staff, but the staff didn't answer. It was kind of disappointing, but no big deal because food was great. Honestly, customer service in Van Nuys location is better so I will keep going to that location from now on. For ambiance, there is plenty of seating area in the restaurant. This location is clean and well maintained. Parking can be really challenging since it is located in a busy shopping plaza. Sometimes, you need to park farther than the restaurant and walk to this location.

I ordered the ground meat kebab combo - one beef, one chicken, hummus and pita. No extra charge to replace the salad with more rice. Large portions, I couldn't finish. Kebab was made to order, took about 15 minutes and was worth the wait. Both meats were tender and flavorful. The plate doesn't come with sauce, there's an extra charge. Located in a crowded strip mall with a lot of other eateries, parking could be a challenge. Its within walking distance of the Kaiser hospital. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd definitely return.

What is that smell? Once I entered Fresh Grill it smelled like the sewage, but the staff said it was the smell of their spices (?). I doubt their spices smelled that bad. I should have left but was so hungry that I ordered the salmon plate, which when I got home and opened it and it was mostly all rice, small salmon, and side of salad and hummus for $20+. Definitely not worth it.

My Uber Eats order with the special instructions kindly requesting the sauces to be seperate from the food.

As a practice, this chain has a habit of putting the condiments/sauces inside the to-go container direct on top of your food. To me that is unsanitary so I put in the delivery notes " please put ass sauces in a seperate bag and not on top of the food." Well my note was ignored and when I called the restaurant about it, the lady that works the front counter chuckled and said, "that was me. I didn't read the notes. I will do better next time." It would have been ok if she didn't laugh and actually apologized. I know she touches and accepts various forms of payment from customers throughout the day . I just feel her hands shouldn't be the last on top of the food I'm about to eat. Hence my note that she thought was funny. Their food is delicious but it seems if I'm not eating in person, they ignore the requests of the customer and it's a laughing matter. Regardless of the sanitation factor.

My family and I love ordering from Fresh Grill, especially their kebab combo! They've been so reliable and consistent with the quality every single time we've eaten here. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and never dry -- especially the chicken, which is perfectly cooked every time. They recently increased prices a bit, but honestly, it's still a great deal considering the portion sizes -- one kebab combo can easily feed two people. I really appreciate how fast and reliable they are whether you order online or dine in; the food always comes out fresh and made to order. Definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're looking for a quick, satisfying meal that never disappoints!

I hadn't ordered from them in a few years So at my work, we decided to order altogether And two of my coworkers had the chicken kebab plate with hummus salad and rice Personally, I had the Cornish hens plate with Mutabal instead of humus Their food is very fresh and delicious indeed Their rice is very fluffy and light It's inspiring me to order some more soon Highly recommend that place they have two locations, one in panorama city, and one in Van Nuys

This location is in a really tight plaza. Parking is super tight. Not their fault but just a heads up. Staff taking our order was nice. Its a cozy little place to have lunch. There are a few tables but still feels spacious. Its a bit pricey and takes some time to get your food but the cashier let us know. I would suggest to order ahead of time. I got the gyro kebab plate. Meat was thinly sliced and the flavor comes hard with each bite. Salad is salad but I was really suprised with the garden salad. Pita was nice and soft and went well with the hummus. I thought it comes with grilled tomato but I guess thats extra. Too bad. I'll just have to add that next time! Thank you Fresh Grill Mediterranean!

Ground Beef Kebab and Ground Chicken Kebab and Gyro Kebab (lamb).

Enjoyed our first visit at Fresh Grill Mediterranean. Place is clean and there are a couple of tables for dine in. We ordered our food for to go. Great customer service by the young man at the counter. He did tell us that the food would take about 20 minutes. Our food was ready in 20 minutes. Today's order consists of Ground Beef Kebab and Ground Chicken Kebab with salad and basmati rice along with Gyro Kebab specifically lamb. The salad was good and fresh. Ground beef kebab and ground chicken kebab were good and cooked with the right amount temperature. However, it lacked flavor. The basmati rice was greasy. The chicken was more flavorful than the beef. Portions of the combo kebab were plentiful. As for the Gyro Kebab (lamb), it was really good. The lamb was tender and flavorful. The portions were just right. As for pricing, food portions meet the price point but not the quality. The combo of ground beef and chicken kebab with salad for $17.99, was expecting more flavor from both the ground beef kebab and ground chicken kebab. Gyro Kebab (lamb) price point at $15.99 is ok.

Located in a busy shopping center where parking is tight. It's a very small restaurant with about 6 tables. We ordered to go. Food was tasty but the didn't package it very well and the juices leaked all over the bag. Made for a messy meal. Good options on their menu though.

They were supper attentive and friendly. After I ordered I sat outside to people watch which was honestly really nice. Reminded me of Paris. My food came promptly thus after. The Tumeric braised chicken is amaaazzzinggg the chicken is so juicy and falls off the bone. The rice has some sort of crunchiness to it that compliments the entire flavor profile of the dish. Recently, we were curious if our old go-to, Javan, was still any good. So, my wife and I dined there. The beef and chicken koobideh entrees were both excellent- so tender and juicy. This weekend, we have some friends visiting from San Francisco. As SF is a fantastic food town in its own right, we suggested two different food options that are better in L.A. than what you'll find up there: Korean BBQ or Persian food. The wife pushed a return to Javan. Alex, the manager, recommended the All Javan Combo for our party of 5. It includes tzatziki, hummus, salad, and flatbread to start followed by beef and chicken koobideh, chicken kabob, filet, lamb, and choice of rice. We added an eggplant stew with lamb shank and an extra skewer of chicken koobideh. Finished the meal off with hot tea, a sublimely-delicious saffron ice cream (house-made by Alex himself), baklava, and little bites that were like honey churro nubs. After we finished this feast of a meal, my daughter looked up at me and said, "This was one of the best Persian meals I've ever had." I must agree. This was a meal greater than the sum of its parts- food was very, very good and the experience was elevated by the warmth of Alex and his staff. It's rare that a restaurant works this hard to make its guests feel welcome. Free street parking and a full-bar (Alex is happy to whip-up a special cocktail for you). I give Javan my highest recommendation. Please eat here if you're in the mood for Persian food. Bon Appétit!

My family and I went here one afternoon and as we sat down, the attendant from the restaurant told us that the specific table we were sitting on wasn't part of the restaurant and we were not going to be served if we sat there in a very rude tone. We went ahead and moved. Then we went up to the cashier to order our food and the two people that were there were busy talking to each other in farsi about a customer that just came and didn't tip along with some very vulgar language. Then as we were ordering, we told them it was our first time and we got no smile or anything, very still faces like whatever. We ordered two Koobideh wraps and a few other things. It was very uncomfortable. The Cashier didn't even speak to us. As we sat down we were "served" after we HAD to ask if we get bread and onions and water because we saw that they were taking those things to other tables. The Koobideh wrap tasted like Rubber and you could barely hold it together as it was drenched with the sauce and all soggy. Even my 1 year old wouldn't eat it. We had to open up the sandwiches and eat them with a fork. It was not a good experience. Tip for the owner: You should probably remind your employees that some of your customers are Persian and they will understand them talking shit.
