So today I wanted my favorite pizza of all of North County and I was running errands and I thought wait a second, why don't I grab a pizza in Luecadia at corner Pizza and take it home? I don't think I've ever done this, but I just wanted that pizza, the honeybee pizza. I was lucky enough to walk in and not a lot of people were there and Bradley took such great care of me as it always happens at corner Pizza. We had a really good talk and the first Pizza came out completely burned on the edges and Bradley said oh this is our new salt crust and the cook read the order wrong. I said no no no no can't have that and they went back as they always do and made it right. That's the reason I love this place and tonight we had the perfect pizza.

Okay so real talk, this place is doing the most in the best way. Buy two bottles of wine, get a pizza for a dollar? Two slices and a drink for $10? I'm in. We got the whole hot honey pizza for ourselves (no shame) and that homemade Caesar dressing is unreal. They don't even carry ranch and put up a little sign about it, which lowkey made me laugh out loud. Thin crust, just slightly too greasy for me, fresh toppings, and a chocolate chip sea salt cookie that I thought about for days after. 10/10, we're back.

Corner Pizza is such a cute addition to Leucadia's coast highway. Their menu is robust and has a ton of options for everyone to find something they like. We ordered the margarita burrata and pepperoni split as well as a caesar salad and some drinks. The caesar was just okay, would loved more dressing, but the dried capers were delish. The pizza was really good, no complaints here. They have NO Ranch but they do have hot honey sides.

Caesar Salad was very mediocre. Not much flavor but the croutons were good.

This pizza joint is bigger than it looks with almost all its seating on a wraparound patio. There are just a few seats inside. You order at the counter and then start hunting for an open table. It is not always easy. We probably waited 5-10 minutes before snatching a dirty table which had just been vacated. You need to enact your seagull fetch food instincts and swoop down on an empty table as soon as you see it. The Caesar salad was very average and had pieces of the salad's core in it which, frankly, no one eats and I am unsure if it is even edible. Regardless, the salad needed more flavor. We tried the Killer Bee pizza and it is very nice. There was plenty of pepperoni and the crust was thin and crispy. There was some soppressata on the pizza but not much. The chili honey gave it a nice sweet/hot touch. The pizza was plenty for three people. It was also $28, which is definitely pricey. Their wine list is more impressive than you might expect for a pizza joint in Leucadia, although Encinitas is now quite the restaurant hot spot. Good luck with parking. Fortunately, in Encinitas, you can park almost anywhere and most people are pretty laid back about it. Skip the Caesar salad but definitely give this place a try. I generally prefer thick crust pizzas with a ton of cheese but this pizza pie was very good.

We went here to celebrate my daughters birthday. It's her favorite place. The menu is so unique! We ordered the Killer Bee and Broccolini pizzas along with the Ceasar and Padrino salad. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The crust and sauce on the pizzas are perfection! The salads were large portions with crisp lettuce and just the right salad dressings. They have an outstanding beer and wine selection. My daughter said the oysters here are amazing too! The service was outstanding!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The ambiance and cleanliness of the restaurant was excellent. Corner Pizza is a rare find!! It truley is the best pizza ever!! You have to try it. You will be so happy you did. I'm sure it will become your favorite place too!

OMG!!! this was food poetry! The first bite took my breath away and I cannot even describe the absolute pleasure every additional bite added. I literally could have cried the pizza was so good. What did I get? What everyone recommended... killer bee pizza. They recommended I get the dirty crust(I think that's what it's called) it is essentially everything bagel seasoning on your crust... do not turn that down. 100% highly recommend. My score for this place is based 100% on the pizza everything else did not matter after I took a bite! The service was good for a pizza joint and all recommendations were great. The location does lack parking but I would walk a few miles for the pizza so no big deal. And it was outdoor dining in California... so nice! Trust me just go and get the killer bee!

Very busy on a Friday night, but got a table. Pizza was long cut like new York style but very crispy, I really enjoyed the taste. I ordered cheese with broccolini, onions and hot honey. They forgot the hot honey and just gave me a side, which i didnt want., I asked them to pour it on using the honey bottle squirter (like they were supposed to) bc I didnt think I could properly spread it on the pizza and they treated me like I was crazy and argued with me. I think that's the san diego laid back vibe where youre not supposed to give a $hit. Not really for me, I just want what I ordered and paid for. So service wasn't that great. My friends ordered a pepperoni pizza and the kids seemed to like it. I thought it was a little pricey as well. Prob could get comparable pizza for a little less money.

This place is a ok. I like the ability to get a slice or an entire pie. The pizza comes with New York style thin and crispy crust. Fresh ingredients make this a nice snack or lunch. They have several beers (see can photo) and sodas. The outside patio has cozy wood tables and chairs and makes for a quaint lunch especially when you want to enjoy your pizza warm from the oven. read more

Wow wow wow wow wow! I love this place. The pizza is SO good, the service is stellar and the outdoor seating area is so chill. I loved the thin crust pizza and they have a secret menu (sorry I guess that spoils it) but we ordered our veggie pizza with everything bagel seasoning and I'm pretty sure it changed my life. Pizza was fresh and I appreciate the amount of toppings -- just right! Not too much. We also snagged a side of the spicy honey that comes on one of the other pizzas -- so good! Had an amazing experience here, got a killer bee and cheese pizza for the kids. There is no flop and the dough is so light and airy. Strongly recommend this spot for a salad and pizza dinner. Bonus the chocolate cookie was soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. read more

Great pizza with several unique/interesting flavor combinations. Our favorite is the Killer Bee - mozzarella, charred pepperoni, soppressata, gorgonzola, rosemary, chili honey. The hot honey is the best!! This is an order at the counter then pick a seat place. There are a few tables inside and several picnic tables outside. Beer and wine are available too. We make a point to stop each time we are in town. read more

Amazing, unbelievable, incredible! The pizza was great and the staff was stellar!!! If you are anywhere in the vicinity Corner Pizza is a must! I am from the area but when I go to SoCal now I go out of my way to get this totally rad pie!!!! Great chill vibe inside and outside. You will be comfortable anywhere! I've been eating pizza for 46 years. The Margarita Burrata is the best pizza that has ever crossed my lips. The ratio of ingredients and the texture of the crust throughout every bite is perfection. I've also tried the Killer Bee and that was too spicy for me, but the next day refrigerated leftovers hit the spot. I will keep going back for their Margarita Burrata. read more

First they're new, so take with a grain of salt. Also, they were doing a buy one/donate one for our friend's Scripps feed the front line folks, so they have heart. And, the pizza was ready on time. The crust had good leoparding. What you get is a thin crust pizza. It was on the dry side. Baked with whole leaf basil, which is a little hard to eat. Crust lacked salt or flavor. Sauce was bland. The whole experience would have likely been better straight out of the oven, but not by that much. If you like this pizza, you might as well go to Blaze and save a few dollars. I'll bet it's better in a couple months. read more

This place is amazing! The food is great, I suggest the pizza with the hot honey, so delicious! You order at the counter; and they will bring you your food, so not a super fancy spot but the outside seating is very welcoming and nice especially on a summer evening. A little on the pricey side for a casual dine in but we'll worth every penny, as the food will have you wanting to come back! I also recommend the burrata salad/app- SO good!! read more

First time trying this place and I will absolutely be back. We got the killer BEE on gluten free dough and the mushroom queen with regular dough. Def the best gluten free pizza I've ever had. Flavors were on point and great sauce to cheese ratio. They also have a heck of a deal!- buy 2 bottles of wine and get a pizza for a dollar! Best pizza in all of the land!! I don't even try to go anywhere else. High quality ingredients in all of there items. We got the sausage fest pizza and the padrino salad. Indoor and outdoor patio seating available. You can grab parm cheese, chili flakes or other sauces right behind the counter where you order. Water is also available my only complaint is that it had no ice so it was lukewarm. Meh. I've only had the pizza and it was delicious. I would recommend the Killer BEE. So good, fan of the hot honey. Wines and other alcoholic beverages. They have the beer of the week. If they could only add a sour brew to their drink menu. Anything from Wild Barrel would be cool. ;) read more

I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS. I placed a $150 online order. $150...4 pizzas & 2 salads. I went in to pick it up and asked for some hot honey. Their hot honey is really good on the pizzas -- my family and I dine in here frequently and love it. The girl looks at me and says "sorry we aren't doing that" and I said "what?" she goes "yeah the kitchen is really busy," so I say "oh okay they didn't make it?" And as I am asking that question, I see behind her about 250 small containers of their hot honey....STRAIGHT UP CAUGHT HER IN A LIE. I asked her to have some of them because I could LITERALLY see them and she said they don't give honey to online orders. I'm sorry, what?? I just spent $150 and you can't give me a condiment??? And I caught her in multiple lies. I was so beyond livid that I tried to get the attention of 4 different employees (blonde girl with bangs, brown mousy hair girl, blonde guy, and main girl is redhead curly hair) and NADA. They looked down, tried not to make eye contact, and were uninterested. I have never been more APPALLED by a restaurant. I will never ever be eating here again. And I suggest you don't either. read more

My family went to this pizza joint for a birthday dinner and the pizza was to die for. There thin crusted deliciousness was amazing. The ambiance was beautiful with an outside patio and fire pits. I'm going to be thinking about this pizza for a looooong time, folks. I hustled some of my colleagues here after a work training and four of us shared two pizzas and we each got a drink. My prosecco was super yummy. The two pizzas we shared were... actually to die for. We got the cacio e pepe (why aren't there more pizzas like this??!!!??) and lemon pesto (so so fresh and tangy and delicious you'll cry). I was the lucky winner that took the leftovers and they were also delicious for breakfast the next day. I wish I had this place closer to me -- I'd go once a week. read more

The place is a total vibe. The pizza was delicious and large. The entire staff is extremely happy and overall very nice. Make sure you get your crust dirty though. Make sure you put this on your bucket list. Also I would like to respond to a reviewer who claimed that they have mediocre pizza. I'm just saying it is definitely equal if not better than a NYC slice. read more

Get the killer bee. It's amazing. They have honey chili oil as a side that compliments it really well. Good beer. Good wine. Good vibe. A little pricey, sure, but at this point you get what you pay for. Staff is cool. Bring your friends. read more

Man oh man, am I picky about pizza. Being from Philadelphia, we have some amazing pizza selections and also a pre-conceived notion about what pizza in California is like -- aka it's hard to find good Cali pizza. Well, during this trip I found out I was wrong. Corner pizza is the sh!t. You walk up and order what you want, and take a seat wherever you want -- it's a very cool vibe. The wine comes in carafes (so you're basically paying for 2.5 glasses) and the pizza oh man the pizza. We came back a second time to try more, it was that good. My recommendations: Pepperoni pizza (they give you chili honey on the side), margherita burrata pizza & the honey bee. Make sure you get your crust "dirty." Trust me. Also, the staff is awesome. For anyone from Philly -- this spot is basically like Beddia (similar in taste/size/price) but without the insane impossibility to get a reservation. read more

Food is fantastic and the in-restaurant service is great. I would give this place five stars if only they made it easier to place an order. The online ordering is randomly unavailable and they often don't answer the phone. My wife wanted me to pick up pizza on the way home today, but we had to give up on that idea because she just couldn't order. read more

I don't remember the name but it was a nice fruity and juicy chilled red. So delicious on a summer evening! I also liked that they had options for 3 oz. And 5 oz. Pours and plenty of retail bottles as well. The place filled up but wasn't packed which was nice. There are a couple parking spaces around the wine bar which is convenient! I really enjoyed my experience here and can't wait to come again.
