So today I wanted my favorite pizza of all of North County and I was running errands and I thought wait a second, why don't I grab a pizza in Luecadia at corner Pizza and take it home? I don't think I've ever done this, but I just wanted that pizza, the honeybee pizza. I was lucky enough to walk in and not a lot of people were there and Bradley took such great care of me as it always happens at corner Pizza. We had a really good talk and the first Pizza came out completely burned on the edges and Bradley said oh this is our new salt crust and the cook read the order wrong. I said no no no no can't have that and they went back as they always do and made it right. That's the reason I love this place and tonight we had the perfect pizza.

Okay so real talk, this place is doing the most in the best way. Buy two bottles of wine, get a pizza for a dollar? Two slices and a drink for $10? I'm in. We got the whole hot honey pizza for ourselves (no shame) and that homemade Caesar dressing is unreal. They don't even carry ranch and put up a little sign about it, which lowkey made me laugh out loud. Thin crust, just slightly too greasy for me, fresh toppings, and a chocolate chip sea salt cookie that I thought about for days after. 10/10, we're back.

Corner Pizza is such a cute addition to Leucadia's coast highway. Their menu is robust and has a ton of options for everyone to find something they like. We ordered the margarita burrata and pepperoni split as well as a caesar salad and some drinks. The caesar was just okay, would loved more dressing, but the dried capers were delish. The pizza was really good, no complaints here. They have NO Ranch but they do have hot honey sides.

Caesar Salad was very mediocre. Not much flavor but the croutons were good.

This pizza joint is bigger than it looks with almost all its seating on a wraparound patio. There are just a few seats inside. You order at the counter and then start hunting for an open table. It is not always easy. We probably waited 5-10 minutes before snatching a dirty table which had just been vacated. You need to enact your seagull fetch food instincts and swoop down on an empty table as soon as you see it. The Caesar salad was very average and had pieces of the salad's core in it which, frankly, no one eats and I am unsure if it is even edible. Regardless, the salad needed more flavor. We tried the Killer Bee pizza and it is very nice. There was plenty of pepperoni and the crust was thin and crispy. There was some soppressata on the pizza but not much. The chili honey gave it a nice sweet/hot touch. The pizza was plenty for three people. It was also $28, which is definitely pricey. Their wine list is more impressive than you might expect for a pizza joint in Leucadia, although Encinitas is now quite the restaurant hot spot. Good luck with parking. Fortunately, in Encinitas, you can park almost anywhere and most people are pretty laid back about it. Skip the Caesar salad but definitely give this place a try. I generally prefer thick crust pizzas with a ton of cheese but this pizza pie was very good.

We went here to celebrate my daughters birthday. It's her favorite place. The menu is so unique! We ordered the Killer Bee and Broccolini pizzas along with the Ceasar and Padrino salad. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The crust and sauce on the pizzas are perfection! The salads were large portions with crisp lettuce and just the right salad dressings. They have an outstanding beer and wine selection. My daughter said the oysters here are amazing too! The service was outstanding!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The ambiance and cleanliness of the restaurant was excellent. Corner Pizza is a rare find!! It truley is the best pizza ever!! You have to try it. You will be so happy you did. I'm sure it will become your favorite place too!

OMG!!! this was food poetry! The first bite took my breath away and I cannot even describe the absolute pleasure every additional bite added. I literally could have cried the pizza was so good. What did I get? What everyone recommended... killer bee pizza. They recommended I get the dirty crust(I think that's what it's called) it is essentially everything bagel seasoning on your crust... do not turn that down. 100% highly recommend. My score for this place is based 100% on the pizza everything else did not matter after I took a bite! The service was good for a pizza joint and all recommendations were great. The location does lack parking but I would walk a few miles for the pizza so no big deal. And it was outdoor dining in California... so nice! Trust me just go and get the killer bee!

Very busy on a Friday night, but got a table. Pizza was long cut like new York style but very crispy, I really enjoyed the taste. I ordered cheese with broccolini, onions and hot honey. They forgot the hot honey and just gave me a side, which i didnt want., I asked them to pour it on using the honey bottle squirter (like they were supposed to) bc I didnt think I could properly spread it on the pizza and they treated me like I was crazy and argued with me. I think that's the san diego laid back vibe where youre not supposed to give a $hit. Not really for me, I just want what I ordered and paid for. So service wasn't that great. My friends ordered a pepperoni pizza and the kids seemed to like it. I thought it was a little pricey as well. Prob could get comparable pizza for a little less money.

We love Corner Pizza, the food, service and atmosphere! But, your customers MUST CONTROL their children. Your adult customer are coming to enjoy a good meal and conversation amongst family and friends! But when children are running wild, screaming, playing with gas fire pit, climbing on chairs in tree boxes, throwing pizza boxes and pouring cheese on the ground. You might start losing your CUSTOMERS that pay your bills!! Parents don't think a pizza restaurant is an outdoor play ground and destroy the evening of all paying customers!! The Owner of Corner Pizza needs to post a sign, THIS IS NOT A PLAYGROUND!! read more

Three words, Lemon Pesto Prosciutto! I'm not sure how they made this combination work but damn was it good. It has garlic, mozzarella, pesto, lemon, and red onion. I don't usually eat the crust but it had a really nice crunch and was very light. Service was excellent and the indoor/outdoor vibes is perfect for a chill lunch or dinner. Would I go again? This place was busy when we arrived here on Sunday evening. Great place to hangout, have a pizza and a drink. We found parking on the street parking. We ordered in person. It was hard to narrow down which pizza to have since they all sound great. We ordered the Lemon Pesto with Prosciutto (extra). There were a lot of people having drinks with their pizzas. Totally chill. We waited a reasonable about of time for our pizza to take home. I loved the pizza. My husband liked it but thought the lemon flavor was a bit strong for him. Overall it was great and we would come back to try other pizzas. read more

Delicious!! We ordered 3 pizzas, margarita the hot pepperoni and mushroom truffle. We ordered delivery and it was quickly eaten. I got extra crispy for all 3 pies so they would arrive crispy not soggy and it was perfect (not burnt). The burrata on the margarita was the most delicious burrata. Cant wait to order again!! read more

The food came quickly and the service was great!! We got the killer bee pizza, which was so delicious!! Great outdoor seating, nice to be outside near the ocean. Parking was a little bit difficult because they only have street parking, so you may have to take a short walk, but definitely worth it! read more

This place is a gem! The pizza is absolutely perfect--the thin crust is crisp, holds up on its own, and has just the right bite. We had the killer bee pizza and it was amazing! They also sell pizza by the slice...pepperoni, cheese and chefs choice. The salad was incredibly fresh and packed with flavor, a perfect compliment to the pizza. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to again and again! read more

Great local pizza spot!! We tried a couple different pizzas including the hot honey and pepperoni, one that had pineapple, and another that had sausage and Jalepenos. I also tried the gluten free crust with pepperoni and it was really good! Crispy for sure, but some of the better crust I've had. The owner was really nice and chatted with my mom for a bit while we were waiting for the pizzas to finish. The cookies were REALLY good. Don't skip these!!! read more

Nice place and vibe, but the pizza didn't have enough toppings. We ordered half-and-half and some pieces were only cheese, which was disappointing. Definitely feels more like an appetizer spot than a full meal place. Seems better suited for parents who want to keep the kids entertained while having a drink. read more

Good stuff. My first time with the kiddos and overall I like this place. Went for lunch and got a cheese and pepperoni half/half. Kids really liked theirs. I got the special slice of the day and it was really good too. If you like east coast (New England style such as Pepe's, Illiano's or Sally's), you will like or love this pizza. If you love Chicago style, it may not fit your tastebud needs. I have been searching for an east coast style and haven't seen anything in the area that does it justice... until now. Is it the best I ever had? I'll let you decide. It is definitely very good and I will be back. Def get order the hot honey (no, not that girl in a. Mini skirt on the corner). You can dip your crust in it. Tasty! They also have oysters and shrimp cocktail and some select salads. I tried the shrimp cocktail and the addition of some chili pepper is a great idea and makes you think you are eating something more exotic than you. Delish. The oyster (albeit a strange thing to offer at a pizza place) were fresh and excellent as well. They have a very nice selection of wines as well and nothing that will tip your bank account. Wine by the glass and bottle. Overall I give this place 5 stars. Why? Friendly service. Great great food. Fair price (a little on priced side). Here's a kick. Buy two bottles of wine and get a "any" pizza for $1. read more

So I tried to give this place a second chance, and was once again disappointed! I had wanted to order over the phone, so that by the time we got home it would be ready. Sadly, they decided that " in person" customers were more valuable than those of us trying to call...as they stated in the voicemail, which I was able to hear about 8 times! Yes! That's the amount of times I tried to get a hold of them...but again, was ignored as I was not in the building, but rather trying to call. Is it hard to hire someone to take phone orders on busy night?! For this place it seems so. Extremely dissatisfied customer. read more

Cool SoCal vibe...simple and tasteful. Staff were all AWESOME! Kumamoto oysters were small sweet and yummy. $22/dozen which is okay, just be aware that they are very small. SUPER FRESH horseradish and GREAT ponzu sauce. No complaints there! Went to Corner Pizza seeking " wood fired" preference. Lemon pesto pizza was ordered as sounded fresh and different. Was super lemony...almost too much. Crust was thin, a little too thin for not being cooked long enough so it was very tough and chewy as it cooled; barely able to cut it with a knife. Way too many pizza restaurant options in the area to return there. Had hoped it looked and tasted as good as it did in pictures, but just didn't cut the cheese:/. read more

I have went through many of the reviews for Corner Pizza, and many seem to think it's the "best pizza they have ever had?" Those are very strong words for a pizza place. I think many of these reviewers have not been to NYC (for example). I found the pizza here to be just okay though it wasn't even the best pizza I've ever had even in Southern California. I would not make Corner Pizza a destination stop when traveling to Encinitas. I feel much better Pizza is to be had in other places in SoCal, and everywhere else (like NYC). The crust didn't have much flavor, the sauce, and cheese just okay. The pepperoni is the "cupped style" and lacked flavor. They earn 3 stars for very nice staff and just okay pizza. The price was $20 (as expected). Was it worth $20? No. If your craving pizza, do your research. Corner Pizza didn't knock my socks off, or leave me wanting more. read more

We finally stopped into Corner Pizza after volleyball at South Ponto Beach and we are so glad that we did. The place is sparse, clean and has a modern cool vibe. They have pizza, salads, beers and even bottles of wine for sale. My here is a lot of outside seating and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Most importantly, the pizza was really great. It is wood fired and crunchy and really wonderful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! read more

Caesar salad was legit one of the top three Caesar's I've ever had Service: order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Worst pizza ever. I ordered 2 slices of daily special. I was eating cardboard. Felt like it was left over from yesterday. Peperoni and mushrooms were tasteless. Some taste to the sausage. And the woman cashier never smiled as 3 of us ordered individually. I will never return. read more

Went back this weekend! Bathroom is super clean actually been here 4 other times since. Must have is the Caesar because it has capers :) And the best pizza by far is the Killer Bee, if you like pepperoni and hot honey!! Also they have a special crust that I recommend is the Everything Bagel crust it's only on the edge of the crust not where the cheese is. Included a picture. read more

I'm so happy we finally tried this place!! Right on the 101 it's a fantastic location indoor and out. We ordered at the counter and waited outside at the many picnic tables with heaters and fire places. The girl who took our orders and brought our pizza was extremely helpful and had wonderful customer service. We order the Caccio e Pepe and Margherita Burrata pizzas - wow wow wow! So delicious! The Caccio was extremely flavorful and had the perfect amount of toppings without being too cheesy. The burrata they use on the margherita is top notch. The red sauce is sweet and the burrata is gooey and tasty but stays in place. We way over ordered - one pizza would've been fine for two of us but the leftovers were tasty the next day. The bumblebee pizza was good. The crust is great. I recommend you let your pizza cool before you start eating. You want the cheese to congeal a bit more. The bit of hot honey is a nice addition. Like most pepperoni pizzas it is a bit oily. (This is why I prefer Chicago style where the toppings are under the cheese) read more

I have never left a review. I had to on this. My wife and I loved the food. The issue we found was the fact that they did not accept cash and there was nothing posted that said that. On our 2 week travels through four states this was the only place that did not accept cash. So we paid with a card. The issue was they accepted cash for tip; we only had large bills and they didn't have change. So we were forced to leave a tip on our card. We came to 2 conclusions. Either the business does not trust the employees with cash or either they do not want the Buisness that cash brings in. The young men the Saturday night of November 1st were amazing. The young lady at the cashier could use a few lessons on word etiquette and fascial expression etiquette as well. The food though was straight up amazing. I will never recommend no matter how good the food to a place that turns away customers that only have cash! read more

I like wine bars that are restaurant-esque as well but I appreciate this option of wine bar where the focus is really on the wine. The offerings on the menu all looked very good so I had some help at the bar on what to choose. The woman at the bar was able to choose a wine that was exactly what I wanted on the first try. I don't remember the name but it was a nice fruity and juicy chilled red. So delicious on a summer evening! I also liked that they had options for 3 oz. And 5 oz. Pours and plenty of retail bottles as well. The place filled up but wasn't packed which was nice. There are a couple parking spaces around the wine bar which is convenient! I really enjoyed my experience here and can't wait to come again.
