We came for music bingo and Indian fusion sample night. There were not many people, only about 4 or 5 other tables. We watched a few of the tables get samples but nothing ever came to our table. After being told "no" to several things we tried to order, we ordered the coney meal and pizza. Most of the questions we asked were met with an "I don't know". After about 30 minutes, the waitress came over and said there were no coneys. We switched to chili fries, which were actually not bad. It was a huge portion. After almost an hour the waitress came and said the pizza would be done soon, the dough was frozen which was why it was taking so long. By the time we got it, music bingo was almost done and we just got a box to go. We did try a piece though while it was "fresh" and my suggestion is don't get the pizza. We had to go to the bar to ask for water refills or to order more beer, as the waitress rarely came back. We also had to go up to pay our bill because it never came. The saving grace, super cheap mystery beer and music bingo! Both were super fun and highly recommended, I just don't think I'll be back for food any time soon. his place is a not only a joke but also illegal. It's 4 owners of Indian ethnicity who keep saying it's going to turn into an Indian restaurant. They don't pay the waitstaff an hourly wage or have any documentation of anyone working there. Never even asked for ID to make sure they are even legal to work at all. They treat employees like absolute garbage. Food is expired in the walk-in and just left there for months. The owners wanted me to "cut around the mold" on the fruit garnishes for drinks. Worst experience ever! Called and asked if they could handle 20-25 people. They said no problem. One waitress on duty who was also the bartender. Orders came out cold, my wife's chef salad consisted of lettuce a tomato, and a piece of dried out chicken. Of the 20, very few got food, the waitress quit and the manager on duty did squat. It was hot and they wouldn't turn the ac down. Wrote the business and got no response. PB and J at your own kitchen table would have beaten this place. Do not go there. read more

Wings have ok sauce, franks style buffalo/hot sauce but they're big!!!!! Detroit style pizzas are good too. Terrible food. Nothing we ordered was edible. My Italian sandwich was missing pepperoni, salami and peppers. Came with ham cubes and x piece of thin bacon on what appeared to be a hotdog bun cut in half. The sloppy joes were inedible over cooked tasteless junk. Onion rings way undercooked and under battered. Smash burgers were apparently cooked on dirty grill with burnt burgers scraps. Finally got side salad (extra $1) after dinner and had to get it go. Beer is cold, only benefit. By no means the fault of wait staff. They are awesome and hustle. Server was really nice. Food arrived hot, but the mushroom Swiss burger was bland and the beef patties had an odd texture like they were frozen preformed ones. The fish and chips had way too much breading, lacked flavor, and was overly greasy. Do not waste your money on this place everyone! I am not sure why there are all of these posts about upcoming events when they are GOING OUT OF BUSINESS!! At least that was the excuse given when cashing in a Pull Tab (purchased from their machine!) worth $200. The Pull tab states that you must redeem winnings at the place of purchase. They refused to honor this. Yet, they have money for these buffet dinners, new burger menu, and raffles. Absolutely unacceptable! Also this has been reported to the Michigan Lottery. read more

Fun place you'd miss if you blinked. Surprisingly spacious inside. I didn't try the food as I was just coming from lunch with my sister, and just wanted to grab a beer. I went before it closed and had to use a credit card I use maybe once every few months because I left my debit at home. Thank goodness because a couple days later, I got a call from my card company suspecting fraud. Someone had used my card at truck stops in Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, and Texas. I went there regularly, was friendly with the bartender, always tipped well, but that didn't stop the theft. This was the day before they closed to change ownership. If I see the same staff of bartenders, I'll turn around and walk out. I'd suggest paying with cash. read more

A basic restaurant. The food doesn't taste fresh and the menu is nothing special. Crow's Nest down the street is a much better option for quality of food and service. Corner Pub is just blah. A few key dishes that should be easy and a standout at a "pub" should be their wings and pizza. Both are subpar. The wings are small and the sauces are just OK. The pizza dough tastes generic and they don't allow you to customize your pizza by having one half of the pizza with one topping and the other half with another topping. The waitstaff says it's not allowed because the pizza won't cook correctly. What does that even mean? We've asked a few times we've come here - assuming as time goes in the restaurant might get better but nothing changes. Go to Crow's Neat for great food, great personal service and fun atmosphere. Yes!! Come to the Corner!! This pub is under new ownership, but DO NOT be discouraged! The owner has multiple years of good industry experience. I love the service, the atmosphere (new TVs, keno machine, etc.), and my food was tasty!! Try the spinach artichoke dip--YUM! Oh and the salsa is made FRESH!!! I had a Riesling with my food. I've been going to the Corner Pub and Grill for a while with some friends for their trivia night. We do competitive trivia and we occasionally win. The other day, after coming in first we were told that we were not allowed to come back for trivia because another team had said we were cheating. Management said that we were not going to be able to come back to play trivia and that there was nothing they could do to let us back. On the other hand, staff is very kind and always seems to recognize us and the food is pretty good, and the actual trivia questions are right, even if the teams are vindictive. read more

The bartenders are amazing! The owner/manager appears to be a big jerk. I've been six or seven times (haven't checked in) times and sat at the bar. He stands there and talks to his friends, but never walks around and speaks to the customers. Know that while he talks to his friends, he likes to use incredibly foul language. Really professional! I generally like their appetizers. The pretzels and mozzarella sticks are great. My husband enjoys their boneless wings. Tonight I had their mini tacos and they were horrible. Tasted like they were freezer burned. I'll admit, I'd like to try their pizzas as this was previously a Tony Sacco's and I am sure they kept the great equipment. They have a nice happy hour. Mangager, Walks around with an arrogance about him. He is there to make sure that the customers know who he is and what he is. The day I was there I saw so many times how he micromanages the staff. I feel sorry for the staff and they abuse they have to take from him. The reason for the one star as we came there for fun we came to watch the game. I won't be back. My son and I ate as part of a group. None of what anyone got here was high quality, and for the prices it should have been better. I got a side salad and pretzel bites with beer cheese. I've gotten it other places, same prices, and it was a meal. Here it wasn't. Tiny salad, dressing in a package. A dozen small pretzel bites, and the beer cheese container was small and a quarter full. My son got boneless wings and fries. Like everything else, the wings looked like they came from Sysco and just got dropped in a fryer. Sauce was on the side. Everyone's meal looked like that. We went here for dinner last night we ordered cheese sticks for an appetizer they turned out really good the cheese sticks came with ranch. Then I got crispy chicken sandwich which was really good the bacon was done perfectly. My husband got the Italian sandwich which was awesome. Both sandwiches came with fries which were a little to salty but they were good. I also got an Apple martini which was good. I will definitely come back to try something else on the menu. We also had an excellent waitress that really was on top of things and super nice that I tipped her well. My only regret is that I forgot to take pictures of our food we got. read more

Their Cajun steak fries are delicious (sorry no pic) but you have to try them! I also appreciated the music selection throughout the night. They have a jukebox so you can add your own flavor to the atmosphere...not sure of what I was hearing were other's selections or the bar's soundtrack. Either way I was very pleased. This is a nice, casual place to meet up with friends and share a few beers. Tuesdays they offer $2 draft pints. The beer they offer ranges from your low level beers all the way up to a number of craft beer offerings. The staff is friendly and never had to look for our waitress. The food offerings are your standard pub fare. Burgers, wings, sandwiches and pizza. They are not shy about the prices they charge for food. I order the fish sandwich with chips. The sandwich was average and the breading was disappointing. When I ordered fish and chips, I expected French fries as in your classic order of "British fish and chips". Instead I got potato chips. I even ordered an additional order of chips with my take out believing I was ordering fries. Why would anyone order an additional very expensive bar potato chips?? But I will take this one because it said it came with a few choices. But still. I wish that would have been clarified. With what my friends ordered they had the same sentiment about the food. Perhaps we will give the pizza a go next time ? So definitely go there for the $2 pints on Tuesday. read more

First Time here. Nothing stands out good wise. Basic food you can find anywhere. Pizza was decent. Thought it was expensive $15 for a two topping pizza. had the worst burger ive had in a very long time. come to find out their burgers are precooked and put in a water bath of 180 degrees, according to what the owner said. that was his excuse for basically calling me a liar when i said the burger i had was dry and barely warm. if you enjoy a good burger like i do you know when the burger you have isn't warm and overly charred. a m-mw (owners choice) done in 5 minutes cant be good. had to ask for one of their carryout mayo packets to give it some juice and taste. didn't work, the bun tasted like it had been sitting out since the shift started, i was there at 700. their version of the philly cheesesteak is good and you cant beat the $2 drafts on tuesday, JUST DON'T get a precooked piece of ??? waste of $14. read more
