Unbelievable, the top of my list hidden gem of Sushi restaurant. The first time we went they give you a complementary crab sushi with an amazing sauce. Dinner was superb, cooked perfectly and the flavors were authentic. Waiters are extremely attentive and very polite. When we finished dinner they gave us a complementary mini dessert, it was delicious! If you ate visiting St Augustine and want amazing Sushi I highly recommend this hidden gem. Corner sushi has great Thai plates and sushi rolls. They treat you with a complimentary appetizer and desert as well when you come in and dine. Pretty quick service and the food is terrific, highly recommend this restaurant. I find myself visiting here quite often lately. read more

The service is horrible we order our food and there were 4 parties that came in after us and they all got there food before us. The sushi is not the best either the fish is not fresh and they use red food dye in the fish eggs. I highly do not recommend!!!!! read more

Reminds us of our favourite Japanese restaurants in NY. Very chic inside, modern but comfortable. Service is always quick and friendly. We have been given a number of apps on the house which are always great. We love the Hibachi and my mum loves all the different sushi rolls they offer. Food is always fresh tasting and well prepared. I am from Cali (bay area) and being on the road for a few days, I was really craving some Japanese food. Came here on a Sunday night since it had really good Yelp reviews. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the sushi appetizer (5 pieces for $7 or something pretty reasonable). Sushi slices were a bit thin but were fresh. Service was excellent as many yelpers attested to. I love sushi so while traveling I visited this place based on the reviews. Right off the bat I noticed it was possibly a Chinese restaurant trying to get into the sushi arena. I tried it anyways and I was pretty accurate with my intuition. All I can say is they tried very hard to pass the food as Japanese food! But it just wasn't good! Rave - @corner-sushi Japanese Grill and Sushi Bar. They opened September 28th. They are located at 2443 US HWY 1 South (Lewis Point Plaza). The interior is beautifully tiled and clean. The service was exceptional. I ordered clear soup that was delicious and the Salmon sushi lunch. The sushi was out of this world! The salmon was fresh, full of flavor and buttery soft as well as visually appealing. Saint Augustine has needed an awesome sushi place and I think I found it. Give them a try. read more

Kinda gone down hill. Used to be they would give you an eel sauce with your sushi if you got it to go. I always paid $0.50 for another tiny eel sauce. Now I was informed they don't even give you one. You have to pay 50 cent. I understand the up charge because it costs them but $0.50 for a tiny cup that isn't even full is bad business. read more

The food was excellent great variety we tried several different rolls and the hibachi. Note they don't actually have the traditional hibachi restaurant feel where they cook it on front of you. This is probably the best sushi place in St. Augustine. First, it's incredibly reasonably priced. They gave us a sample roll of sushi, two soups and tiramisu on the house, as well. This place is amazing!!! Finally decided to go try it out today, the interior is really nice and clean, staff is super friendly and the food was great! Came in 15 minutes after opening so it wasn't too busy which is always good, we received a free appetizer from the sushi bar which was really delicious. Started with miso soup, we ordered a house roll which was amazing, along with a salmon roll, kani & eel nigiri! Also ordered yakitori and some fried rice. The quality of the sushi was very fresh and good portion size! At the end of our meal, the waitress brought us a delicious little price of sponge cake! Overall is was a great experience and I will definitely be going back in the near future, give it a try if you are in the area! read more

Don't like sushi???? Don't worry there's more here than sushi!!!!! This place is really good. They have lots of sushi but also many choices of teriyaki and tempura dishes. First, you get an appetizer of lobster balls. Then you get soup and salad before your meal. After your meal, they even give you a little dessert. This is all included in the price--- which is very reasonable. There's a lunch menu so you can get smaller portions. The interior of this restaurant is really beautiful. Corner-Sushi was an excellent restaurant. One unique feature of this place is the "on the house" freebies. During my first experience with my two parents, we had 3 freebies. This consisted of a delicious yo-yo sushi appetizer, three miso soups, and one delightful chocolate bite. No charge!! Then once our orders of rolls came out, the charm didn't stop there. The rainbow roll was very fresh, along with the sashimi. The yellowtail, tokyo, and shrimp tempura were also just as tasty!
