We were warmly greeted and seated in what was a pretty empty restaurant during the lull between breakfast and lunch. We talked with the server for a bit about the restaurant and she gave us a bit of history. The current owner has had it for just a few years and he comes from a very nice culinary background. The space is roomy with several tables in the entrance area and about 8 booths around the corner. All of it seemed to be well kept and clean. We ordered up blue cheese burger and my friend had a special order omelette due to some food allergies. The server didn't bat an eye and helped make sure he got what he needed. The blue cheese burger was excellent and made with a fresh patty and quality ingredients. The fries were crisp and not greasy. The fry sauce was awesome (house made) and I asked for a second helping of that. I was told my buddies omelette was excellent and the extra bacon he ordered was super good. Not sure how you can make bacon better than most, but they achieved it. This place doesn't look like much on the outside but the quality of the food that is prepared is worth the drive from Spokane to try it out.

I was having a difficult time trying to decide out of their beer options as to what to have so I went with a taster set and that was a good choice to have made. I tried four different beers from that taster set and I liked them all very much! One of the beers was the Cerveza Fria which was the brewery's Mexican Lager. It was pleasant and refreshing with a slight biscuity flavor and a crispness to it that is perfect to refresh yourself with on warm days. Another beer I had was the Allegiance which was an Amber beer. It was biscuity also and went down easy where it would be very easy to get more of this beer in one sitting. The third beer I had was the Muddy Boots. I liked the maltiness in this beer. While the beer is rich to drink it also comes across as light bodied which gives it an overall nice balance. The fourth and final beer I had was an Oatmeal Stout by the name of Broken Paddle. I do like Oatmeal Stouts and this one was no exception. The flavors you can enjoy in this one are chocolate, coffee and roasty in the beer. The beer is smooth but also comes across as light bodied which you occasionally see in some stouts.
