    $39 worth it!
    Patricia U.

We tried this place for the 1st time, our son highly recommended it. We ordered the $39 plate, brisket was amazingly tender and flavorful, 2 sausages were delicious and had a good jalapeño spice, mac and cheese was good, 3 large candied pork ribs, 2 were tender and 1 was a bit tough. Brisket beans were delicious!!!! Drink included. We would definitely order it again. Good service amd located in a good clean spot with plenty of seating.

The sauces. All were delish!! Each had its own distinct personality!!

Beefzilla Sighting at Cornerstone BBQ! Strolled through Redlands Public Market like hungry detectives and locked eyes on Cornerstone BBQ. Thank the BBQ gods it was Saturday... beef dino ribs were on deck (weekend only, aka meat-lover's Christmas). Shoutout to Allen, the BBQ expert, who guided us through the menu like a seasoned sauce-sherpa. Then boom... our order arrived and this rib was basically a prehistoric weapon!!! It was MASSIVE!! Jurassic Park level meat!!! Tender? Yes!!!! Seasoned? Like grandma's Sunday best!! Fell off the bone like it had better places to be!! Exactly how I like my dino rib... meaty, tender, mouthwatering, and juicy!! Four sauces, all bangers. We shamelessly taste-tested them all, zero regrets!!! This meal was so huge it was enough to feed both my hubby and me. Get yourself to Cornerstone BBQ and bring an appetite (and maybe a forklift). Highly recommend!

    Smoked Brisket making me happy!

Tried Cornerstone BBQ at RPM. Great spot with plenty of seating and lots of people watchin' ;) SERVICE: Friendly cashier and workers. They get you your food pretty quick and it smells Fabulous!! Caution: I tip big, but for those of you that may not like to tip where you order your food standing up or where you seat and buss yourself, they set their tips at 18, 20 & 25%. FOOD: Super Yummy. We had the 2-meat, 1-side combo and the baked potato. Smoked brisket was tender and cooked perfectly. The pork belly was cooked a little too crispy for my taste, but still tasty. My wife had the baked potato with pulled pork and it was pretty loaded. The only preference would have been a shredded cheese instead of a cheese sauce, but still a good spud! All in all a great visit and one more yummy choice for food at the Redlands Public Market - Go give them a try!!

The meat was tender well seasoned had a really good smokey flavor and all the sides we tried, which were the baked beans, potato salad, and macaroni and cheese were delicious and have great flavor. Also the pickled onions and pickles were really good. Great service helped out with are order for being our first visit.

Two meats plate - 1 side

At $24 the 2 meats plate (one side) is on the smaller than expected side for the amount you get. Perhaps more meat or an extra side would be best - but one cannot complain about anything else. The tenderness and flavor on the Brisket was A+!!! The chickens flavor was sharp spicey and soothing deep smoke. A smash hit coupled with their BBQ. Chicken a tad on the dry side but flavor made up for it indeed. This was the BBQ spot inside of the Redlands Marketplace food court, which was lively and fun. Would highly recommend! The mac and cheese was out of this world.

Holy Trinity - Brisket, Ribs, Jalapeño Sausage, Mac & Cheese, and Brisket Baked Beans
    Daniel R.

For date night, I took my wife to the Redlands Public Market for the first time. We were quite hungry and the smell and thought of barbecue immediately caught our attention. We were warmly welcomed, and after quickly looking through the menu, the Holy Trinity seemed to be the perfect option to sample it a little bit of everything. It comes with three meats, which includes brisket, jalapeño sausage, and ribs as well as two sides and we chose the brisket baked beans and mac & cheese. Everything was delicious and for us brisket was surprisingly very tender and flavorful. I appreciate the assortment of different sauces and we samples a little bit of everything as far as sauce is my favorite were the Kansas City and the Ghost sauces. The service was great and the food was ready within 5 min of ordering. I definitely recommend coming to check out this location if you're visiting the Redlands public. Market and I know that I'll be back to try some of the other options. Five stars!stars!

Marinated tri tip from the meat box
    Craig G.

First time, long time in downtown Redlands. We celebrated a birthday at Finney's and after walked across the parking lot to the public market. We had already eaten (and drank), so this was basically a scouting trip. Until I saw the butcher counter at CBBQ. They had a "meat box" to go for $40. Marinated tri-tip, marinated chicken breasts and 4 sausages, all shrink wrapped and ready for grilling. The beef was pre sliced and that reduced the cooking time substantially. It could have come with the smallest tips and or instructions. I called and asked the manager from Vine St. for tips. He was helpful. Anyway through luck or skill, I charred the tri-tip on a hot grill and left the inside medium. So tender, so juicy. The sausages were plump and snapped when I bit into them. The barbecue sauces were great but not really necessary with the flavor of the sausage and marinated beef. I was already plotting my return to Redlands to get another box.

Fast service and great food! Chicken was a bit dry but everything else IMPECCABLE ! The onions and pickles are a great touch! They have a serve yourself station for the side sauces! Yum that ghost sauce is delicious !

    Mac and cheese q

Brisket was absolutely amazing 10/10 but I have to take away 1 star for the mac and cheese it was just a boat full of oil and really didn't have much flavor

The quality and flavor needs improvement. The sauces offered were just ok. The meat was dry and lacking flavor.

There was also plenty of parking and several seating options inside. We decided to order a little bit of everything so we could try as much of the menu as possible. We had the brisket, brisket burnt ends, rib tips, several sides, and both desserts. The brisket burnt ends were definitely my favorite. They were smoky, tender, and full of flavor. The brisket had a beautiful bark and was cooked perfectly, and the rib tips were just as good. I was honestly just as impressed with the sides. My favorites were the spicy mac and cheese and the potato salad. The potato salad was creamy and was the perfect thing to cool your mouth after eating the steamed jalapeños. The coleslaw and green beans were also really refreshing and balanced out all the rich barbecue. The biggest surprise for me was the sweet yams. It was so flavorful that it tasted like it had been slow-cooked in brown sugar and spices for hours. For dessert, I tried both the banana pudding and the peach cobbler. The banana pudding was the winner for me, but I also liked that the peach cobbler wasn't overly sweet. Even the cornbread was delicious. I ended up pairing it with the barbecue baked beans and was a great combo. Our total came to about $110 before tax and tip, but we ordered enough food to try a wide variety of meats, sides, and desserts, so I thought it was well worth it. Overall, there wasn't a single thing we ordered that I wouldn't get again. If you're looking for great Texas-style barbecue in the Inland Empire, I'd definitely recommend giving this place a try. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu.

The brisket is sooo good and fatty. Especially paired with the sauce. If you can only try one thing make sure to get the brisket. They also sell by weight so feel free to get any amount you want. The young woman slicing the meats was very nice when explaining their menu and how to order. I read plenty of reviews before coming here and many noted the sides were lacking but I thought the opposite! The beans were extremely rich and decadent, and the yams were soo tasty without being overly spicy.

Here's what we ordered: Gyro - no tomatoes ** meat was delicious, everything about the gyro was a hit and I've had my share to know what's good Chicken Shawarma sandwich - with everything ** my third daughter ordered this and really enjoyed it Egyptian Pizza - there's only like 3 choices, the guy there recommended the meat, veggies, and cheese. ** I'm not a fan of anything soggy foods because I'm that person that won't eat it right away. The pizza is a little bigger than a personal sized pizza you would get from Pizza hut, but in the form of a calzone cut in 4. It's a little on the greasy end, my first and fourth daughter said it was just okay. Turkey Sandwich - w/no lettuce or tomatoes ** Again, I don't like soggy foods, so ordering this sandwich was a treat for lunch the next day. Sandwich is good, cheese is too thick for me, I tried reheating it during lunch, but the cheese refused to melt...so there's that! Baklava - Ordered a lot because who doesn't like baklava? I will however, suggest that you get the baklava tray in the actual market, it comes with a variety of flavors and it's only $11.99 (wish I had gotten a pic, but here we are)! Overall, I would recommend this spot to others curious about Egyptian food, it's similar to Mediterranean and worth the try. We would most likely return for the Gyro and Chicken Shawarma sandwiches. Oh and we also checked out the juice bar, the drinks were good too!

I ordered a chicken sandwich with the slaw to go. I had to pull over because I couldn't even hold onto it while driving. It was big and sloppy and I didn't even think I could fit it all in my mouth. But honestly, if it's not sloppy, are you even really enjoying it? Literally, no notes.

Having lived in Texas for many many years and eating barbecue all over the state from popular Michelin star places to Mom and Pop hole in the wall places to food trucks I know what the good barbecue taste like. We decided on a large platter because this was our first time to the restaurant and we wanted to get it taste of everything. We opted for brisket, ribs, chicken and swapped out the pulled pork for jalapeno sausage. This included 4 side dishes and honestly I know they're just sides but it definitely wasn't enough for four adults to enjoy. The large platter says it easily feeds six to eight people but the sides definitely only feed three. The brisket was good compared to California standards. It was moist, flavorful, and cooked just right but lacked a great smoky taste. The loaded fries were another standout. They were absolutely delicious, and the rich cheese sauce paired with the added jalapeños made them even better. Those were easily my favorite items on the menu. Unfortunately, the ribs were inconsistent. Some bites were tender, while others were extremely tough and difficult to eat. The food overall was also much greasier than expected, which took away from the enjoyment of the meal. The service left a lot to be desired. We had to keep asking for basic items throughout our visit, and our drinks didn't arrive until we had asked twice. Having to repeatedly remind the staff for things that should have come automatically made the experience frustrating. The seating arrangement was another disappointment. Our party of four was squeezed around a tiny table, even though there were larger tables available. To make matters worse, a group of six was seated at a three-top table directly behind us, blocking the aisle. People were constantly trying to squeeze between the tables, making the dining area feel cramped and uncomfortable. Considering the price, I expected much better. The portions didn't justify the cost, especially when combined with the inconsistent food quality and service issues. While the brisket and loaded fries were excellent, the tough ribs, greasy food, cramped seating, repeated service problems, and high prices made this a disappointing overall experience. I hope Cornerstone BBQ improves these areas because the restaurant has the potential to be much better.
