Chem-dry spot cleaning treatment is a WINNER!!!! The office staff was very helpful. Chem-dry worked great on old and new stains.

Livid. We scheduled Cornerstone a month ago to handle our apartment moving out carpet cleaning. We scheduled it for the day before we move out. They confirmed the appointment, but yet they called today to say they had a technician quit. We are now faced with losing our deposit, plus, since they had "no way" to adjust appointments to get us in today. They can't get us in until AFTER we move out. This is a poor way to do business. Shuffle some non-essential jobs around to make our urgent job happen, was my suggestion. They declined. They didn't make one effort to make this right. We were left without carpet cleaners before our move-out. Avoid these people. Curious to see what our move out fees will be because of this. read more

I promised my wife that at least once a year l would have all of our carpeted floors professionally cleaned and based on high recommendations the crew from Cornerstone Chem Dry will continue to help me keep her happy. The office called and confirmed my appointment time the night before. The tech arrived on time and gently inspected our home with mask and booties before discussing the final estimate. After taking a moment to confirm high traffic area and any spills we wanted to get extra care the attentive tech completed about 1500 sq ft of carpet including 3 bedrooms, 2 living area and a long hallway in about an hour. Easy payment on site. Lastly our carpets look and feel amazing. This was a few weeks ago and we have not seen any spotting or blemishes. We plan to hire CCD again next year. read more

The tech arrived 15 minutes later than the arrival window and was nice but obviously so overbooked and getting calls from his people all through the visit. He was on the phone the entire job. (With his company) The floor was still dirty after he was done. I called Cassandra in their office who would not let me speak with a a manager. She Was borderline rude or at least "very dry" and put me on hold and then proceeded to call the tech who was in the hall to tell him I complained. She did this while I was still on hold. (??) He went back to make a second pass at the carpet with the machine. What I am complaining about is that, the techs obviously have too many jobs to do their current jobs without rushing through them, I saw them do no pretreatments, or vacuuming or anything stated in the contract. The customer service is very poor and It was primarily because of the lack of concern or professional customer service that I did not want anymore work done so I cut the job short and let him rush to the next job. First and last time I will use this company, and it's primarily due to the apathetic and poor attitudes of the office and because the tech was rushed and did not have any time to do the work promised probably because he was being rushed all over town. I'm having another company come out tomorrow to finish the work that they cornerstone (chem-Dry) didn't finish. I Can't imagine what working there is like when they keep calling you over and over while you are literally running the carpet machine. Ugh. read more

I have used this company for over A year first two times they did a wonderful job.  I have family members with pet allergies who come to visit and have no issues after the carpet is cleaned. However I have tried, and failed over the last six months to get my carpet cleaned. FIVE times in a row they have canceled me at the last min leaving me no alternative for getting carpet cleaned. I can only assume that my small house of 2200 sq feet is to small for them to clean.   So save the frustration, disappointment , and embarrassment find another company to clean your carpet! read more

We had a carpet cleaning appointment for 8:00am. It is 9:30am and the technician is missing in action. Called the company twice. No calls back, no explanations. The technician called at 9:55am to check if we were still in schedule. No apologies, no explanations. What service could we expect? Don't think we are going to recommend or call again. ULTIMATE BAIT AND SWITCH!!! My 1 star review experience is very similar to several others I've read that seem to be related to extremely misleading information provided on their Live Chat Agents on the website. I did a virtual chat with one of their representatives and after explaining in great detail the work that needed to be done, the size of the rooms, etc, I was quoted around $210. I assumed/expected that the actual on-site quote would be more, but was shocked to learn that it was going to be nearly $500!! Regardless, they need to get their facts straight to provide more accurate quotes online, otherwise you end up wasting their time and YOURS and ultimately ticking people off. I do not like giving one star reviews (I actually don't like giving reviews), but I feel customers should be warned. There are several reasons for this one star review: 1) they gave a three hour window (showed up 45 mins after the window!) 2) they added stains to the carpet that were not previously visible 3) they seemed to care more about upcharging than effectively cleaning my carpet 4) the online estimate was $220, I was charged $340 5) when they clean rooms, they don't do closets without an extra charge (and on a side note, worst vacuuming skills imaginable - I vacuumed what they didn't) 6) the only time the technician appeared to have any concern was when he realized he left a piece of equipment that I had to put in the mailbox for him to come pick up later 7) when I called to complain, the office was kind enough to offer a recleaning. They said it was scheduled for Saturday so I waited for them during the defined window. Amazingly, they didn't show! I called and the office explained it was for the upcoming Saturday, not the Saturday closest to the time of the call. Perhaps stating the actual date of the recleaning instead of simply saying Saturday would have helped! By the time of the recleaning, the furniture had all been moved in which defeated the purpose of having the carpet cleans prior to move in, so the recleaning was canceled. The good news is the spots were later removed by a simple cleaner using the blotting method once chem dry was gone (amazing their devices couldn't match the power of this method). Look elsewhere for this type of service if you want to get an actual, professional cleaning. I would have been better served renting a carpet cleaning machine and doing it myself. read more

I will never use this company again. The technician was an hour and a half late. I was not told over the phone about extra prices for pre-treating, sanitizer, protection, etc. would not move any furniture even though I had removed breakable items. No pre-vacuum was done, even though that was part of the package. Told me twice that I could send them away. Then when I told them just to give me 1st package, said it would take longer to set up than clean my carpets. REALLY!! Never did the post walk through with me. Told me I couldn't put my furniture back till the following day even though it's supposed to dry one to two hours, which it didn't. They did pre-treat & sanitized the carpet. I can't comment directly on their ability to clean carpets. I was quoted $280 over the phone. I was very honest about the size of my space and what exactly needed to be done. The first time I scheduled they canceled on me. The next day when the technician arrived to clean he did a quick walk through and told me it would cost $600! Over double my original quote. And y'all, my house is not even gross. (Picture attached to prove my point). I completely understand upgrades and add on but over double my estimate? I am so disappointed. I just had all of my carpets cleaned by Cornerstone Chem-dry again. I do this at least 2 times a year because I can count on them being there in a timely manner. Trent, the Technician, was in, worked efficiently, cleaned up after himself, had us inspect his work and off he went! Very polite young man in a uniform. It smells so incredibly good in here again! We have dogs ... 2 of our own and 7 family dogs ... and a pool .. and a doggy door! That equals lots of dirt tracking into the house constantly. After using Cornerstone Chemdry to clean the carpet inside my home, I requested them to clean 2 of my oriental rugs. This work started in January. After 3 total days off from work, their first attempt at delivery of my cleaned rugs resulted in them bringing one of the rugs only. No explanation given for no delivery of both rugs. Upon trying to reschedule delivery of my larger rug, I was given another 4 hour time window on the agreed day. I waited the four hours with no call from Amanda, their scheduler. After calling to check on why they had not shown up or called, I was told that they were simply unable to deliver that day and I would have to reschedule. Now we are in the month of March, I rescheduled another 4 hour delivery time and took the day off again. 3 1/2 hours into the delivery time, I had heard nothing and decided to call. Amanda transferred me to someone in "rug delivery," where I was informed that my rug would not be delivered because it was raining. Then, she stated that the rug had also "gotten dusty" during the time it was in their possession and would need to be recleaned! I stated that I wanted my rug delivered that day and would like to speak with a manager or owner. Later I did receive a call from their office manager. She stated that the rug would be brought to my home within 30 minutes. The rug arrived completely sealed in a plastic bag, and I asked the delivery man how it would have gotten dirty. He stated that he had no idea. Once the rug was unrolled, I noticed the binding edge was still damp. The rug had been with Cornerstone for weeks at this point! After speaking to their office manager again, I requested that my money for cleaning the rug be refunded. She stated that was not possible. I asked to speak to the owner, Mr. Herman. I have not spoken with him but I will adamantly state that this company has very poor customer service and must only want NEW customers because no one would use their services again, if given a choice. ON 10/22/2014 we had our stairwell carpets cleaned. The carpet job was excellent however when the tech set his tank/canister on our wood floors, it put a scratch in the wood floor as well as a "ring". Cornerstone's owner immediately came out to look at the floor, took pictures and said he would be able to fix the floor and get back to us. That was two weeks ago today. I have a large home with 4 very busy, spoiled cats. And several adult coffee fanatics who tend to spill. I'd also had a small leak that required professional water removal from one small section in my master closet. The carpet in that area felt stiff and looked dirty after the drying out process. On June 19, Cornerstone Chemdry removed a wine stain from a green sofa cushion. All was good then they proceeded to clean the entire cushion but turned it pink because they used the wrong solution. The tech also damaged the finish on a wooden end table. Numerous tries and endless frustration, I have a refinished table but no resolution on the cushion. They have tried to bring back the original color 4 times. Now, replacement is the only option. They are supposed to be turning this into an insurance claim. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK! Follow up is sketchy at best. It is now September 17. Three months into this fiasco and still waiting. read more

I was given a quote of $140, when the technician finished he advised me the price was $280 which was DOUBLE the price I was quoted! When I contacted the company regarding this they told me the number I wrote down was incorrect and stated their CSR provided me an accurate quote. WORST customer service I have EVER experienced! They did NOTHING to try to make this right. Very ridiculous being charged DOUBLE the amount I was quoted. The best the technician could do was lower it to $239 which is still $100 more than I was quoted. In correspondence with the owner she said she would have us removed from their mailing list so we would no longer receive coupons or promotional specials since we were unhappy with their service. I'm just in complete shock that they did nothing to own up to their error or to make it right. The work performed was okay, the technician didn't get out the stains which were from foot traffic. I kind of assumed simple foot traffic stains would be removed by the cleaning. The technician also asked to use our water hose to fill the tank when he left. REALLY? This is just awful. I will never use Cornerstone ChemDry ever again. Very upset and frustrated with their lack of customer service and the lack of quality in their work. This was quite a different experience from our first experience with ChemDry where the technician arrived in a uniform and everything seemed professional. This time around nothing seemed to go right... even when I contacted the company, they offered NOTHING to make things right. read more

This company has been giving me the run around for 9 months. They ruined a leather sofa and have been unable or unwilling to contact me about resolving the issue. They tried to correct a very bad stain with additional chemicals, but all that has done is bleach the surrounding leather while the original stain remains. I have continued to call with no response. I spoke with the office manager, Sherry, who said that she would call me back . She did not. I do not recommend their service. read more

Better than Stanley, better than Dalworth. The only place that has been able to make my carpets smell amazing & dry time was way faster. Theres a place in one room that my dog loves to sleep. That area always smelled like "dog". I tried other carpet cleaning companies, pet fresh powder, lysol spray, baking soda, linen spray, perfume, NOTHING GOT RID OF THE DOG SMELL!!! Until now! Thanks to ChemDry it smells fresh and clean. I don't know what they used but whatever it is worked a miracle! This will forever be my go to place for fresh clean carpets. Incredible ability to clean. I woke up on a Saturday morning to find a guest had vomited all over a bedroom and the hallway while en route to the bathroom. I thought it was going to be a complete disaster and the carpets would be ruined. They showed up that afternoon and made the carpets as good as new, literally saving my floors. While they were late and came outside of the original time the gave me (and even a revised time) they did a great job when they came and were incredibly apologetic. I would definately use this company again. My downstairs carpets were almost dry by the time the tech finished the upstairs. He also successfully got out a couple of bad rust stains. I was disappointed that he did not move and clean under couches (I've had carpet cleaners before who move couches to clean under them). Also, I had a 2-5 window and he showed up just after 5pm. I would prefer a smaller window. I teach and took half a day off to wait for him, and it turns out I could have stayed at school. read more

On our initial review we posted on March 22nd, we stated the facts and facts only. Few hours after we posted the initial review we received a call from Sherry, some type of manager for your organization. She provided a ton of apologies and excuses, which reflected a super lack of procedures and organization in your daily operation. After talking to Sherry, we agreed to let the past go and to start all over again. On Saturday, March 24th, a carpet technician (Payton) came to the house to look at the carpet and provided us with an estimate. Although his estimate was higher than the other two companies we contacted, he agreed to get close to one of the two other estimates and we agreed to use him to clean the carpet. By the way, Payton did a good job and was very professional and kind. Now you want to stir the mess all over again. The story you are making up about us initially requesting an area rug technician is full of lies, as we never made such request. Your staff screwed up, initially scheduling a carper technician (Jordan) to come out on a day he was scheduled to be off. Rather than calling us to explain the situation and re-schedule the appointment, your office took it upon itself to send out whoever was available to show up on the initial date of the schedule (March 17th). This area rug technician (Corey) acknowledged the screw up by the office staff. In reference to your comment about your office attempted to contact us several times with no response from us, you ARE incorrect. Is is obvious the left hand doesn't know what the right is doing when it comes to your office daily operation. For your information and as we previously mentioned, after posting our initial review Sherry (from your office) called on the same day. On the following day, March 23rd, we talked to her again, ironed the situation, and scheduled a qualified carpet technician to come out to the house on March 24th. Since then, there has not been the need for your office to contact us and NO ONE has called us since. I hired Chemdry to clean some carpets in my home. The technician was very professional and courteous. However, after the carpet dried one small section in one of the bedrooms had streaks in it from where the vacuum went over the carpet and the overall carpet had a dull look to it. I had to leave town for two weeks for a family medical emergency. Upon my return I called Chemdry. Did not request that they re-do the entire room, just the section that was not done correctly. Because I was a couple of days past the 30-day mark they said they would be happy to come out to do a second cleaning for the same price. Why would I pay a second time to have something re-done that wasn't done correctly the first time? Poor customer service. Would not recommend them again or to others. read more

The man who came to clean did a great job and was very kind, but I was disappointed because the quote given to me over the phone did not at all match what I was expected to pay. When I asked the lady on the phone if it costs extra for spot staining, she said it "was part of it" and said the technician would talk with me about it when he came. I assumed that meant it was part of the cost. Then I learned it was over $100 more for stain cleaning. I don't think she was forthcoming with me. REALLY GREAT, customer service and I am very pleased with my first experience with Cornerstone ChemDry. For the past 15 + years I used another ChemDry franchisee and was very happy with the cleaning process and their service. The last time however, I was not pleased and they did nothing to rectify my issue so now I am a huge supporter of Cornerstone ChemDry. The owner himself came out to my house as I had requested that they stretch my 24 year old carpet back onto the carpet tacks. We chatted a while and I could tell that he and his wife who own the business are dead serious when it comes to customer satisfaction and the phone follow up by Ashley was a welcomed breath of fresh air. I don't know how many ChemDry franchisee's are here in the Dallas area but the best one is being recommended to you here. If they can pass my strict standards of services provided and the customer service in general then they have to be good! read more

I had them come out to my home to clean curtains in my dining that my dog had lifted his leg on and also in my daughters room, where washable chalk was so conveniently used on (no dog urine). They stated they could clean them all- which I was very happy for. But when they brought them back, I was in shock that both sets had been shrunk by 7 inches. Not only had they been shrunk, but they were extremely wrinkled. I was in complete horror. Randy Herman, the owner, came out and said he would reimburse me to have the curtains taken out-- great business decision. I told him I would use my person, who made the draperies, because I didn't trust them to do it- he said no problem. Low and behold, after 3 months and numerous calls to him, he hasn't returned my call. I will never use them again and will obviously tell everyone to steer clear of this company. read more

I could not find any reason to give this company 1 star for their service and lack of attitude towards what they had NOT DONE. Their driver came to clean a 5 x 9 rug on 6 Nov 18 and was to arrive at 8am, But was 45 minutes late. Over 1 hour later, he still had not even started on my rug but had gone out in his van and stayed. He finally rang my door bell about 10:15 and said he was having trouble with his van, and he needed to pull it around to the back so he could now work on the rug that was on my patio. It had by now started to sprinkle rain and I kept looking for him to drive around to the back, thinking now what was I going to do with a wet rug that was not going to get dry in 4 hrs. I kept waiting for him to drive around but he didnt attempt to drive around until about 10:35. There is no way he cleaned my rug in less than 5 minutes, because he was driving out of my driveway at 10:40. My rug doesn't look any different after he left than prior to his arrival. I paid them to get him off my property but called them after he left to complain. The person I talked to SHERRY LEFTWITCH told me yes she agreed I should get a discount for the fact that their Van was having trouble and they were late getting to my house and he was still having trouble waiting to clean my rug, and she would call me back in no more than 2 hrs. GOT NO CALL BACK. Then I called a couple more days, and she was ALWAYS AWAY FROM HER DESK. AND YES, THERE WERE NEVER ANY RETURNED CALLS FROM THEM. WORSE company service, WORSE COMPANY ATTITUDE that they knew they were having problems but found nothing wrong with NOT DOING ANY SERVICE FOR THE $116.16 I paid them. WORSE ATTITUDE of any company I have ever done business with that they boldfaced lied to me about giving me a discount yet never followed thru with what they said. WORSE COMPANY PERIOD. NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS with this company. HORRIBLE company, who shows up LATE, doesn't do what they were paid to do, and then lied about giving me a discount for their lousy service. NASTY company.
