I just started coming here, and I am already loving it. As soon as you walk in you will notice how clean the office is. They have different kind of entertainment. Example books for children, mind puzzles for all ages and books books. The staff is amazing. Wonderful customer service. They acknowledge you as you come in. What a great experience! I switched dentists because my last dentist that I was at for 5 years did a procedure and never submitted my prescription. Leaving me in pain for 24 hours. I was really nervous to go into a new dentist. However, everyone was so kind, greeted me, kept asking me if I was okay. I felt comfortable I didn't need work, but decided to switch some fillings to white. It was so quick and to the point compared to my last dentist. I definitely will recommend others! read more

The best dentist i have been to in a very long time. Our family dentist that we had been going to for about the last 12 years has slowly been going downhill. My daughter was the first to try Dr.April Kang out she said her teeth had never felt that clean before. I was next, and yes i was impressed she is so gentle thorough with her explanations. My daughter and I go here as well as my mother. I can honestly say that Dr Kang and her staff are the best I've ever experienced. I won't sugar coat it - I was deathly afraid to go to the dentist. Yes, I've had cavities and other dentists were not gentle and some were clearly just after the money. Dr Kang had to replace 3 of my old fillings (silver) with the new white stuff they use. I didn't want to do it because the mouth shots for numbing purposes hurt me like hell. Dr Kang said it would be ok/not hurt and she was right. Don't know how she does it but on a scale of 1-10 the discomfort I experienced getting the shots were maybe a 1 or 2 at the most. Almost entirely pain/discomfort free. I can honestly say that I no longer fear dentist appointments. Dr Kang knows her stuff!!! read more

This is a great dentist for children and adults. I have tried 4 dentist in last 6 years; the is the best by far. The dentist knows what she is doing, cares, takes her time and is very patient with small children. My kids; 9 years, and twin 5 year olds, have 0 problems. Facility very nice. Other dentists try to throw in their sales pitches and at one point was even told I had a cavity but didn't have it filled. I waited 6 months for my next check up went to a new office and was told I didn't even have a single cavity. It's is very hard to find a dentist to trust and this dental office leaves me feeling confident in the care I am receiving. Very family oriented. Great with small children. But Dr.kang has been peer pressuring me into making a appointment and making my minor sister a appointment instead of my mother and then when I had told them I have work and tried to work something out she stated that I have to come in the afternoon on her times and not mine. I have a job, a child, and school and I was just trying to see what times they can work with me and they didn't want to. So after I had told her I couldn't she kept harassing me about making an appointment and that I need to tell them a head of time but I was so busy that I had forgot and she gotten upset with me and that's why I don't want to make appointment with her. This office was recommended by a coworker and after a few visits I came to find out that several of the employees at our company are patients at Cornerstone. The office always smells great and is extremely clean, even the restrooms, if there's one thing that I really HATE are businesses with dirty smelly restrooms. I came here because I heard great things about Dr. Kang from family. I came in to have her look at my broken permanent retainer and give me her opinion and price. However, she quickly made an assessment and proceeded to do the job on me without discussion of any price whatsoever. I felt rushed into it. She simply altered the wire that was protruding out, a two min job. When I got to the front desk the price was $65. Honesty, I didn't appreciate that dentist April did not consult this price with me before starting the work. I am on a very tight budget and probably would have waited to save up. I attended Calvary Chapel Downey and had an event expo. My husband and I first made appointments just to check things out. This happened in 2014. April is extremely honest and upfront. She is genuine and has a really good, professional and friendly bedside manner. Given the awesome service we received, we brought all our 3 kids over. She knows all of our names and is interested in our hobbies and is just very pleasant. It is really difficult finding an honest dentist. We moved out of state to AZ and will be in Cali soon and will have our yearly check up with her because we trust her that much. I would not lie... I have been to many dentists who try to rip you off, a dentist in Norwalk tried to charge me like $3000 for my daughter who was 7 or 8 at the time and told me she needed a lot of work. Took her to Dr. Kang for a second opinion and Dr. Kang told us my daughter's teeth were already falling out... no need for all that work. She took care of my daughter and my daughter has had 0 cavities!! I honestly would recommend this dentist to anyone who wants a clean, family oriented and honest doctor.
