He greeted me promptly in the service drive and took care of my vehicle, from start to finish. There is a small waiting area that I always appreciate and enjoy. Since we don't get loaner vehicles, this was a nice consolation prize. Complete with a coffee bar and water as well as a pop corn machine. The dealership seems awful quiet and way less busy than Toyota and Paradise. It was so calming, just to wait. Roy had my car washed for me and out within an hour and 45 min. 10 STARS FOR CHRIS BENNETT!!!…read more Alrighty, yall ready for a story?! So a couple months ago, I originally had my Jeep towed to the Elsinore dealership. After dealing with the horrible customer service there (I USED TO WORK THERE IN SERVICE) I asked them not to touch my car and not to go further and I would be towing it out. I show up Friday to tow it out. They have it in a bay and I asked them to release it to a tow truck. It was all in text and writing so not my problem that they don't listen to direction. To top it off, the following Monday the advisor they called me and said he needed more time with my vehicle... My vehicle was towed out the previous Friday... Way to keep track of what you're doing. I towed it to Temecula to Chris Bennett!! I had my water pump repaired for over $800 at Elsinore about six months prior. She has overheated quite a bit... (4 times now in her 6 years) Backstory, I have a 2020 2.0 wrangler with 140,000 miles now, no extended warranty. Lifted on 35s but no recalibration. No engine modifications. When I say Chris went to battle for me, I cannot stress enough on how amazing his customer service skills were and are. I will forever recommend him and I am back now to do my first oil change on my brand new engine that he was able to cover under consequential damage warranty from my water pump going out. Yes, she was in the shop for just over a month. But it's all worth it. I did have to prove my maintenance records, and again like I said earlier, I did used to work for a Jeep dealer so I do know how to take care of my vehicle. But patience is definitely a key and taking care of your cars in the right way can definitely help. And Chris is the best service advisor on the planet!!!! Formal Complaint -- Jeep Service Department (DCH TEMECULA)…read more To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally complain about the extremely poor service I received from the Jeep service department at DCH TEMECULA. I wish there were a zero-star option. I believed returning to the dealership--especially since I purchased my vehicle there--would be the best choice. Instead, I was treated as though my business did not matter. Details of the Issue 1) Lack of communication after drop-off After I dropped my vehicle off, there was absolutely no communication. I had to call multiple times, and I repeatedly reached voicemail. No one returned my calls, so I was forced to keep calling until I finally reached someone. 2) Unhelpful and unprofessional customer service My service representative (I will not name names) seemed uneducated and blamed me for the issue. The service manager demonstrated zero customer service skills, and because my vehicle is not under warranty, he made it clear he could not care less about helping me. 3) $245 charge with no timely resolution I was charged $245 to be told what I already brought my vehicle in for--only to then be told the issue could not be fixed for at least 45-60 days because parts were unavailable. This was presented as "blamed the world," which I found highly unprofessional. 4) Ongoing concern about vehicle safety I was left without meaningful help or guidance and was essentially left to figure out what to do next. I am still unsure whether my Jeep is safe to drive. I also do not know whether this is a broader or national issue, as no one provided clear answers or support. Requested Action & Next Steps Given the lack of communication, the unhelpful service response, and the 45-60 day delay due to unavailable parts--after charging me $245--I am escalating this matter. My next letter will be to Jeep corporate, the Better Business Bureau, and my legal counsel. I will never return to, or recommend, DCH TEMECULA again.

It has now been 3 months with no contact from our service writer, Anthony. Having to go through VW corporate to get updates - which there are none except we are dealing with a parts supplier. If you have a VW with similar issues waiting for a warranty covered issue maybe we need to get together and look at a class action against VW. Gave two stars instead of 1 because they are nice people.
