The drink selection was surprisingly large and service was pretty quick even though there was only one person taking and making the drink orders. I was curious about trying the flavored coffees and different roasts that were for sale by the bag, but none of them are brewed and served in the shop which surprised me. I passed because I wasn't willing to spend $15 on a coffee I wasn't sure I'd like. I will absolutely stop when I pass through town again next week. The coffee shop has a great vibe - great decor and there is a cute little gift shop connected with a nice selection of candles and Kendra Scott jewelry. There were some gorgeous wood pieces too - made by local artist. The ONLY negative is there is only one restroom, so be prepared to wait a bit if that's also why you are stopping. :)

I walked in planning to spend maybe 20 minutes max just to buy a few souvenirs, snacks, and a few things to take home to my kids and family. Shortly after I walked in, I was approached and told I wasn't allowed to be there because I came in a semi truck. I explained that I was only going to be inside for a few minutes to buy a few items, but I was told they would not allow me to purchase anything. I was also told, "Unfortunately truckers are not welcome." Those were his exact words. That was extremely disappointing to hear. Truck drivers are a huge part of what keeps this country moving. We deliver the products businesses sell every single day, including the products sitting on Buc-ee's shelves. To be told we're not welcome and not even allowed to make a purchase is sad and frustrating. Because of this experience, I will never return to Buc-ee's again, not even in my personal vehicle. I'd much rather spend my money at a truck stop or any business that welcomes everyone and appreciates the people who help keep America moving.

Starbucks introduced their new, Guatemala blend for the Fall Season 2025, "Casi Cielo." My friendly barista, Azalea, helped me order, Casi Cielo." I had some other personal questions about the area that she helped me with. If you're looking for friendly, helpful and easily approachable baristas, you can't go wrong here. Thank you, Azalea! I've tried, "Casi Cielo," first time at another location and it was too diluted with water. I didn't really like it. Then I went to another location on a different day to see if my results would be same. Second time it tasted bold and flavorful. Third time should be a charm. At this location I order it and it was full of bold flavors of medium roast. It has good texture when it lands on your tongue. The place itself is very welcoming and major reason isn't because of the newly renovated interior. Staff is the number one reason! New renovated and elegant design is secondary reason to stop by here and enjoy your stay. From the outside, I will mention, parking is limited. You will find in front of the building, about fifteen spaces including two reserved for special assistance folks. I do like that front of the building by Patio and Drive Thru, has a big beautiful tree, providing good shade. Patio offers one large table by front entrance with up to six chairs. Around the corner by the Drive Thru, you'll find additional seating. Seven tables with fourteen chairs. The highlight of the patio that I really like is the three tables against the building, look like they're in their own cubbyholes with mini covered awnings. Once you step inside, you'll feel the modern renovations. Immediately to your right, you'll see a large leather bench against large panels of windows. The bench has plenty of plugs and USB ports for the seven tables along the length of the bench. In the middle of the room you'll also see six additional tables with twelve chairs. This is the first location for me to see all black chairs. That's certainly a nice touch and makes this location stand out. The Order and Pick-Up counters look clean. If you're traveling through or live in the area, either way, you'll enjoy your experience. This is ideal space for students or remote workers. I'm looking forward to returning and duplicating my experience.

We ended up buying 3 bottles of wine ($22 but buy 2 or more get them for $20 each), a peach ice cream, and a peach milkshake for the road. Cooper Farms had stands of baked goods like pumpkin pie, pecan pie, peach cobbler, and so much more. Absolutely delicious ice cream for $4? I couldn't be happier. Also decided to grab some other goodies. They had so many soda options. I bought the peach mango salsa because they had some free samples and goodness was it tasty that I had to bring some home for myself! For $7.99 I think that's pretty reasonable. When picking out the fried pie, staff was really nice and helped me picked a pie and she recommended that I microwave the pie to make it a little warm, but it is ready to eat as is. She says she leaves it in her fridge and eats a piece day by day for up to a week! I like eating something a little sweet everyday so I'm going to take her up on that advice for sure cause I know I can't eat that whole pie in one sitting. Haven't tried the other stuff but I look forward to it. Might stop by here again on my Dallas to houston journeys !
