I convinced my wife (and two young kids) to go with me to Corn's on Black Friday because I was promised an amazing deal when I had called in earlier that day inquiring about refrigerators. When we got there a nice younger girl greeted us and showed us around the very messy showroom. We were shown several refrigerators that either smelled like something died in them, electronics were hanging out, or the doors were about to fall off. Nothing was priced and I felt like they were just making up prices. There was no way to know if we were getting a good deal or not? We ended up finding one unit we really liked so we asked for the price. The girl said I need to check with the "boss man" on this one. When she came back, she said the price is $10k and if we didn't like it, the owner was going to put it in his own house. Right then, I was extremely turned off by that useless comment. When I asked to speak to the owner, she said he was too busy. On our way out the door, we walked past the "boss man" and I said we wanted to deal on the unit we were looking at and his response was..."You picked the wrong one to deal on". Made the 50 mile trip to Corn's today looking for a range (6 burner, 36", Dacor), for our new mountain home. Brad showed early for our appointment on a Holiday, Corn's was 'closed'. Brad spent 2 hours of his day off, showing us the range plus d/w, microwave, hood, built in refrigerator and a washer and dryer (we bought all). End result, near new, clean, appliances, tax and delivery included, for less than the range would have cost by itself. Less than a quarter, of new prices, what a deal! We were the busiest we've ever been with major projects going on in our house. Right in the middle of all this, our freezer died. Corn's Appliance communicated quickly and had a replacement freezer to us and hauled away our old one in a matter of just hours, saving all of our frozen food as well as lifting our burden of trying to figure out a solution when we just didn't have time for it. Update on my dishwasher situation. I spoke to the owner, Brad, and got things all worked out. Through no fault of Brad's, or any of his employees, mere circumstances and confusion prevented me from getting a dishwasher from Corn's Appliance. Brad was very apologetic and generous in his attempt to make this right. So although things didn't work out this time, Brad is undoubtedly a very nice guy and his business ethics are quite commendable. Should I need an appliance in the future, I WILL visit his store first, and I do recommend his business to others...Corn's really does have some incredible appliances!! read more

This is not at all what I was expecting when responding to an ad on Craigslist. To say that I was treated fairly would be an absolute understatement. Brad went out of his way to over-fulfill my expectations! Talk about a trustworthy, honest, and all out efficient company. If every business chose to operate in this manner, we would live in a much better world. I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the service that Brad (and Christian) provided. Brad not only delivered the washing machine and dryer within hours of me finding the ad, but he also showed up with a smile on his face and single-handedly lifted both appliances out of his truck and into the garage. Several days later, there was no reluctance to send Christian my way when I heard the washing machine making a funny noise. I found out, the noise was easily fixable, and possibly a result of having moved it improperly (on my end). Little did I know, their commitment to customer satisfaction wouldn't end there. They had no reason to go so above and beyond, but they did. I'm still wondering how I happened to come across the lone noble appliance guys on Craigslist. I'm never usually that fortunate. I could go on and on about how, even with his hectic schedule, Brad still found time to accommodate a pesky customer (me of course). I was truly blown away by the effort that these gentlemen put into running such an ethical company. Brad never once deviated from his integrity, and Christian was nothing but accommodating. Do not! I repeat DO NOT use Corn's Appliance. You will be taking a painful ride without any accountability from the owner. After spending 4000 dollars on a Electrolux refrigerator which was replaced, replaced again, replaced again, I now sit with a pos Frigidaire worth approximately 650 dollars. Which was left with the promise of "we will call you and let you know when we have something more appropriate." Still waiting months later. I am very pleased with Corn's. I purchased a refrigerator from them a few weeks ago. After a couple days I noted that there was definately a problem. The freezer was working but the refrigerator wasn't getting cold enough. I called the store and a technician came to visit. Turned out to be a leaking evaporator. He immediately called his boss to report what he found. He then told me that there was another very similar one at the shop that they would bring me. The swap took place a couple of days later. Its not often you find a person/company that is honest in this type of industry, but if you use Brad and Corns Appliance you will not regret it. I had other opinions on my washing machine repair and I just didnt trust what they were telling me. So Brad came by and showed me exactly the issue, showed me the part problem and told me what the benefits were of replacing the part or buying a new unit. I ordered a part from Corn Hole Appliance to replace a scratched Dryer top the part was backordered, yet Corns charged me $75 dollars for the part in addition to the approximately $1300 I for relativity new Washer/Dryer. After 3 month, no part, and Brandon would not return my call. One year later, I'm still waiting for my part... or my $75 bucks. Pathetic business. read more

We went to Corn's appliance in mid February to purchase all 4 of the major appliances so we were ready when our kitchen remodel was done in April. We gave them more than enough for a budget and didn't ask for anything specialty or out of the ordinary. We were told that they get deliveries everyday and they put on a text message list and told us we would be notified when options started coming in. After 6 weeks and only receiving 1 message I went in to ask why were were not getting any options. I was told we were on the list and they weren't sure why nothing was coming up. 3 more weeks, no messages. Went in again, was shown a dishwasher that was being tested and a microwave that was on the sales floor by Brad and after I told him I wanted them and consider them sold he said his son would call me Monday when it checked out. I did not get a call of course so after hearing nothing I called and was told I needed to pay for it asap because someone else was interested in it. Fairly shady way to treat someone after being forgotten about. I bought both because we had a finished kitchen with old appliances, one of which was broken when removed. Why was there a microwave that was on our list on the sales floor and no text message about it? Obviously they were getting what we asked for and had no intention of letting us know. We really wanted to buy everything from a local business but after 3 1/2 months I don't feel like I should have to keep going in to ask them to get us something as simple as a french door refrigerator. They continuously dropped the ball so sadly have to go to a big box store to get what we need. Update: talked to Brad and we're going in today to see if something can be worked out. I'll edit the review as necessary afterwards. Update 2: after some rude/aggressive texts we did not go into the store. We wanted to give them another chance and I was going to change my review if it went well but not when we both get a text telling us to change it before we come in or they won't sell us anything. We were both taken aback to say the least and unfortunately I can't attach them to this review and I don't want to upload them the their business photos. Final slap in the face is finding the microwave that we bought from them used is over $100 cheaper at home depot brand new. Update 3: They've replied to my review without addressing the fact that they had the appliances I was looking for on the showroom floor and never contacted us. I will never use anyone but Brad for any repair I have in the future. I always think I'm going to get ripped off anytime I need something "repaired", but this guy is so honest, it's almost unbelievable. I was looking at a $1,000 repair to a 3k fridge. I decided to go ahead with the repair, hoping to save 2k. After Brad bought the parts, came back out to my house in the middle of nowhere, and started to fix the fridge, he realized there was probably more wrong and firmly recommended I get a new fridge. Now, he makes absolutely no money for this. he could have just done the 1k repair, and probably got me for another K down the road, but he didn't. This guy is as honest as the day is long. If there was a zero rating, but still wouldn't be low enough. I purchased an induction range from this company about a year and half ago. I had to push out delivery for about 3 months waiting for remodeling work to be completed. The range was delivered to my house, which I paid for. The range I purchased probably never worked right. The oven hasn't worked for the last 8 months. The largest burner quit working about the same time. It worked long enough to get passed the 90 day warranty. I will have to eat the $2k that I paid and go buy a new one. This company is not honest. If you think you are getting an unused "floor model," beware of that claim. Worst company I have ever worked with. I should have known better when they won't even call you back when they are trying to get a sale! We bought a high end fridge and dishwasher from them and have had problems with both. They make you bring it back to get repairs done under the "warranty" they advertise so for a built in fridge that is another $1000 just for them to pick it up and bring back to you. I have been calling and leaving messages to find out how to get the dishwasher fixed and no call backs at all. Shady as f%$ck. You are better off buying from a private buyer on C-list and taking the same risk as using this POS operation. read more

Had a great experience with this company. Got an awesome price on a barely used washer/dryer. They also delivered and installed it the same day I purchased it! Which is usually just about impossible up in Evergreen. And he took the time to show me exactly how the machines worked and the different settings suggestions. After a bit of trouble with the washer and dryer I purchased off Craigslist from Brad, he was more than willing to take back the craigslist purchase and fix my washer and dryer to get it back in working order. He is currently on the lookout for a set that will handle the heavy wash loads we do at our Spa. He is a super nice guy with integrity. Like others, I found Brad via Craigslist. Bought a 42" GE Monogram fridge. Hired some guys off Craigslist to pick it up at his Sheridan Blvd warehouse. They transported it on its side which I found out nullifies it's 90-day warranty. Would have been nice to know that before I hired these specific movers. So I get that the freon might be compromised by transporting the fridge this way, but when I hooked the water line to the fridge and pushed it back into my kitchen cabinets... the next morning there was a large pool of water under the fridge. I pulled the fridge away from the wall/cabinets and after some troubleshooting found the water line up near the compressor had cracked. I texted Brad pics & video of the broken water line and let him know I get the 90-day warranty was void because of the transport, but the water line being cracked had nothing to do with how the fridge was moved, so I asked if he would fix it. Well, he never responded to me. I replaced the cracked water line ($10.00 - water line and compression fitting) and thought the problem was fixed. Well, it still leaked water. So I turned off the ice maker and after 15 seconds turned it back on. Pressed the ice maker paddle 3 times to make the ice maker draw water. I noticed water was spraying from the water valve itself. I tightened the nuts and it still leaked. Ordered a new water valve online ($25.00) and installed it. So it no longer leaks from the water valve. However, my troubleshooting continues. There must be another much smaller leak up behind the condenser and this leak has yet to be found. I took pictures of the leaks and new parts. Doesn't look like I can post them as part of my review. So if you decide to buy a fridge from Brad know that it needs to be transported upright or he will not give you a warranty on Corn Appliance fridges. Also, he doesn't have the appliances plugged in or hooked up to a water line, so the buyer can see them work. So be sure to look very closely at things like water staining, hoses, rust on the compressor, wiring etc. The reason I gave two stars rather than one is that the fridge and freezer do maintain their temperature, just this leak is ruining my wood floors. Another tip - get a receipt before handing him any cash. I asked him more than 5 times for a receipt and I have yet to get one. read more

I was an idiot to buy not only my washer and dryer but then 3 other appliances from them. I even had to go to court over the fridge which they said was 3-4 years old but, alas, it wound up being 16 years old! I couldn't believe I lost in court but the judge said I hadn't purchased an extended warranty. Whatever...do not go there! There have been countless issues with the fridge. They told me it was my fault that it wasn't getting cold because I had an extension chord to it when I first got it! I have tons of pics of the jimmy rigged efforts that they put out in order to sell this thing. Then, they put a compressor in it that is too big for the fridge so it sounds like someone is getting shot in my house every day! The washer I purchased from them had to have a new mother board installed just last month which I have had for a year and a half! The dishwasher doesn't clean dishes properly either and the dryer takes at least an hour to dry one towel. They treated me like I was an annoying customer because I had to always go in there. They claimed there phones were down for at least 4 months. Really, you are running a business yet your phone lines are down? And Brad, the owner, has really nice religious sayings all over his business yet he knows he is in the business of jimmy rigging these appliances in order to get them out the door. So full of it. He quickly was able to diagnose over the phone what the problem most likely was, and said he could come by later the same day with the part. He fixed my washer, and had it working quickly. Bought a used gas range and when I got it home I found that the gas tarin nipple that screws into the gas regulator was only about a hlf turn in. The nipple is the wrong size/thread. Good thing I found it then instead of after hookup. I called the day I bought (a Saturday) and had to leave a voice message. Have not heard back from them. ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A REPAIR!!!! First I paid $100 for them to come out to tell me it would cost $198 to replace my ice maker ok fine go ahead, well then i dont get a new one i get a part a part for $198 gees, they said they couldnt get a new ice maker until January because they were back ordered???? well the guy puts the wrong part in and my ice maker leaks water everywhere well he comes back same thing this goes on and on finally he realizes he has been ordering the wrong part so he supposedly puts in the right part yea it made ice i push the dispenser to get crushed ice not enough ice in it to work so i leave it i am happy... then sometime in the night it stopped i call and they tell me they will refund my $200 I say ok not much to say. Well we looked online and ordered the NEW ICE MAKER WOW imagine that. put it in we have ICE IMAGINE THAT so we let it make ice, now my thing that crushes the ice is broke too geesh It was working but now it is not i have no idea what they did. I would never ever recommend this company use them again and I am sure going to tell all my friends about this experience . The repair man was friendly enough but just didnt know what he was doing..... tell me how i can find the part online in a matter of minutes and he cant get one until January??? Used to have good service and very responsive. Not sure whats happened as of late but horrible service. Ordered a stove to be delivered in April. After one defective delivery and 2 no shows a working stove was finally delivered. 2 months later the stove isn't working and according to the tenants 5 messages have been left for service and not one return call. Called three times myself w/ no answer and also no return call. What a shame. Last Friday I set an appointment for repair to my home dryer. The repairman, Brad Corn, did not show up nor did they return my call.

I found Brad and Corn's appliance on Craigslist when looking for a range hood for a kitchen remodel. After exchanging a series of texts, I agreed to purchase the unit and met Brad on a Sunday morning to make the pickup. The item was such a great deal that I was a bit skeptical of what I was going to find when I showed up (you never know what you're going to get on Craigslist)...all of those concerns were immediately put to rest when I stepped out of the car and Brad introduced himself. The unit was in perfect condition - exactly as described - and Brad was extremely accommodating and friendly. In fact - I ended up spending about 45 minutes at his shop talking through our other needs, looking through his other available appliances, and getting his opinion on some of the choices we had made in our kitchen. The experience was so surprising (in a GOOD way) that I actually called my wife on the way home to start taking measurements for other appliances and told her "we will definitely be using Brad for the rest of the kitchen." When I got home and started unpacking the unit, I realized that there was a problem with the unit I had purchased...one of the parts was missing that was required for the unit to function. The box for the part was in the package - so both Brad and I thought it was there when going through the inspection as his shop - but when I unpacked the unit, that box turned out to be empty. Thinking back to some of my other Craigslist experiences, I was again a bit nervous about how this was going to go, so I texted Brad and, somewhat to my surprise, received a call back in less than 5 minutes. He was extremely kind and apologetic and offered to find the part ASAP to make everything functional. Over the next couple weeks, we continued to exchange several text messages back and forth about refrigerators and other appliances that we needed. I can honestly say that if you are looking for high-end appliances on a budget, you will not find a better person in the state of Colorado than Brad and Corn's...his knowledge, service, and inventory are incredible. Since the first visit, I have been to Brad's shop a couple times looking at other appliances and talking through our needs and I am continually amazed with the time he takes to service his customers. Just yesterday we couldn't find what we were looking at in one of his storage facilities, so we hopped in his truck and went to another. We spent about 45 minutes looking for a needle in a haystack and during the process he made several calls to friends, vendors, etc. searching for a single (and low-value) part for me. I can't say enough about the personal time and attention Brad has given and will definitely be using him as my appliance connection for years to come. read more

They delivered my washer and dryer in the time frame promised and gave me an absolutely incredible price for basically brand new appliances. They had to actually remove the basement door as well as the stair railings but did so quickly and put them back up just as fast. They delivered, installed and removed my old appliances efficiently without a single scratch on either the appliances or my walls.
