A nice pub to visit after a Red Sox game. Not to loud and plenty of TVs showing sports. Great drinks and a fun atmosphere.

Great food that punches above pub food weight and with great prices for Boston. Service was amazingly good given a Red Sox game had just ended at nearby Fenway Park and the place filled up quickly. We had a very solid grilled turkey reuben on rye and an amazing grilled salmon fillet served over gnocchi with sauteed onions, corn puree and asparagus. The salmon probably sounds like there was a lot going on, but it was a well put together dish that was super tasty. Good selection of beers here of course. We had a traditional Guinness with the burger and a refreshing Jack's Abby Porchfest with the salmon. Great place to get a great meal and drinks, whether after a Sox game or any other time.

Steak tips with crispy Brussels sprouts!

My daughter, wife and myself were visiting BU and needed lunch. The Yelp reviews looked good so we gave it a try not knowing what to expect. It was a nice pub. Plenty of space and comfy tables. The server was very pleasant and made sure we had what we needed. They had a great selection of beers and ales. The food was really solid. I was pleasantly surprised. I got the steak tips with a double order of crispy Brussels sprouts and they were great. Definitely give this place a try when you're in Ke more square.

    French dip- delicious

Stopped by after a Sox game. It was busy but my server was very timely and the food was ready quickly. Enjoyed fried pickles and a French dip sandwich. Many many choices. I recommend the fried pickles if you like pickle chips over spears.

In kenmore square, great spot for casual drinks with friends! We went for food, and the food is okay nothing to rave about. The service was also a bit slow. Our nachos came out cold and it seemed that it had sat and was forgotten about until our burgers were ready. The cheese had harden so it was an obvious tell. I would recommend this spot if you're coming just for drinks or maybe small bites but not for dinner!

Cornwall's is a busy English bar. There's mostly college kids at night, but so worth checking out. The pickles are life changing. I had them fried and fresh. Both ways are AMAZING. They're lightly fried to perfection. My husband had the Ruben and said it was really good. Service is friendly and attentive, even though they're busy. Varied draft beer list - something for everyone. Definitely need to stop by when you're in the area.

    Bangers and Mash

Visited Cornwalls, bangers and mash was good! I think adding jammy onions would help with how salty the sausage was. It's got a few British and Scottish ale on tap. (Old Speckled and Wellhaven) Service was timely. Ambiance was quiet enough to hear your conversations and listen to 80s pop (ty so fun) over the speakers.

Phenomenal British Pub in the Boston neighborhood right near Fenway! Super attentive bartenders always ready to assist with a new drink, menu selection or neighborhood knowledge. They had Fuller's London Pride on draft!!! Are you kidding me??? Who goes out of their way to stock that?... these guys do. Their beer selection was flawless. Food looked great but didn't try any. Would come again here in a second. Why wait in long stupid lines at the bars on Lansdowne???? Come here instead. Better atmosphere. Better people.

Outside entrance....with a bit of pride love.

Good British style restaurant. Staff is not super friendly, but wasn't a huge deal. French dip sandwich is excellent. Good beer selection.

It's homely, welcoming, and I feel included. Last went here during the Red Bull Heavy Metal event that was happening at City Hall. Place was packed. We had the best Irish coffees and were able to get a table despite the crowd. I love the attention to detail this place puts regarding its decorative wood around the bar, the lighting, life music, and more. Great place to have a drink. Yes, I think the food could improve a bit - maybe some nice club sandwiches or vary the food offerings, but overall love this place.

We kept trying to make eye contact, but it didn't work~eventually we had to wave someone down. Even then, the response from the bar felt like it was an inconvenience just to send our server over. That said, the food was mostly good. The bangers & mash and the burger were spot on. However, the "Taste of Ireland" pies were disappointing~2 in particular missed the mark. The shepherd's pie had no mince (just potatoes and peas), & the Guinness pie was more like a beef stew than a proper pie. Overall, some strong dishes, but the service and a few key items would make me hesitate to return.
