It would be amazing if the guy behind the counter making the coffee had some sense of urgency. Not only was there a line rapidly forming, and he knew it, but he moved at a glacial pace when making the drinks, evidently on purpose. Cheer up! You have an endless supply of caffeine at your disposal. On a lighter note: I got the Mexicali, which was delicious and hit the spot on a cold Saturday night. Man, the girl working here must really dislike her job. The drinks were equally horrific, way too much artificial mocha type powder (think Coffee Bean) but I think what really got me was the girl working there and her indifferent attitude. I still tipped her, even though she did not deserve it. Guess it's safe to say customer service is not big for this company... read more

Ordered a Cortado and barista did not know what it was. I can deal with varying degrees of baristas but the coffee really tasted horrible. I would recommend going to Tartine which is right down the street to get your coffee if you are up for a short walk. read more

Really great location for this coffee shop! Beautiful view of San Diego skyline and the coffee was greasy; got the Hammerhead to stay awake on the drive back to LA! I feel like coffee stands are kind of always a risk but coffee stands in a tourist area are usually sub par at best. This place is the exception to the rule. They carry stump town coffee and it is good! They have different options for milk which I know isn't that special but in a little stand it is nice. My latte was made perfectly and just the pick me up I needed before getting back on the ferry. I see this as being my go to for caffeine fixes when I'm in the area. read more

was looking for something with some indoor seating, as it was later in the day and I had a work gig nearby. Only saw outdoor seating, so looked for something else.. Saw that sbux was .8 miles away, didn't want to fight traffic to get somewhere, where they're all over the place.... so, went back here. I can't say it was good or average, as I am not a connoisseur. What annoyed me more than anything else, is after the fact, when I go to look at my receipt (I document everything), there's a 4% surcharge on my order, and I paid CASH, with .01 in tax. Why is there some sort of unexplained SURCHARGE on my receipt. Is it a coronado thing? If so, I'll make sure that I don't spend any of my $$$ in Coronado, if they're going to charge me 4% for the privilege. read more

Oh my gosh get the mocha frappe! It tasted like chocolate milk with ice, but better. Chocolate-y drinks aren't normally my thing, but it was really good. I wish they had the whipped cream for the frappe the two days I went and got one, but sadly they didn't. It would've been a 5 star frappe if they had it.. ;-) read more

The amount of knowledge and enthusiasm the young twins who work at this coffee cart have...makes my heart skip a beat. Who knew coffee could be so much fun. Everyday either Rebecca or Samantha greet me with a smile or a jig. They always have a great new story to tell and make my caffeinated beverages to perfection. The coffee beans here are average, but the girls hard work and determination make it a pot of gold. Every sip is like Jesus himself is playing the harp in my belly. This place had an AMAZING dirty chai latte. I was so impressed. And to another person who wrote that the worker seemed bored or agitated, maybe it's because when I was in line, a bunch of people were asking to make their coffee hotter, which you can't just heat up since that's unsanitary. We came here on a late Sunday morning and enjoyed some coffee, ice-cream and pastries. Their latte/coffee is very good. The best part is its location. One can really sit down, relax, enjoy the scenery at the bay, and do some people watching. There is a nice restaurant next to it. This place has a soy option but has milk in every single powder for the drinks? I really have no idea what the point of having a soy option is if they have milk in every single powder. Some people are lactose intolerant or withhold from consuming milk for environmental reasons, it's pretty standard for coffee places to offer a dairy free option these days so this place is really behind. When I told the lady very politely "you guys may want to consider offering a dairy free option because some people are lactose intolerant" she responded with a super condescending tone "well it's not up to us." Definitely don't go here if you have environmental/health concerns because clearly they have no respect for that. read more

Don't expect to get coffee from this place. Even if you get there an hour before their sign says they're closed, they'll say they're closed and give you attitude about it. Pretty useless to have a sign that says you're closed at 8:00 and then ignore people and be rude and give them attitude if they get there at 7:00. Absolute waste of time and incredibly rude staff. I was hear on Sunday at 5pm and this is my second time here and the order takes FOREVER to make!!! I ordered a Large Iced Mocha Coffee and was 3rd in line, no one else behind me. The complaint I have is there are 3 employees behind the counter and only 1 employee is preparing your order. I waited 12 minutes to get my order and my coffee tasted diluted! It was not busy at all.. The problem is the employees talk to much and don't care about the customer having to wait soooooo long!!!!! read more
