    Double cheeseburger and onion rings.
    Willie A.

Nice service, clean place, decent amount of parking. Great selection of milk shakes. We got the marshmallow and a strawberry banana. Also ordered a single and a double cheeseburger, some fries and onion rings. Everything was OK. The onion rings were crispy and the rosemary fries flavorful, but it was all barely room temperature. Nothing was hot. It's appealing to the palate to get lukewarm onion rings. Also, the buns just crumbled. They were super dry and fell apart easily, making for a messy experience, and not in a good way. I'd go back for a shake.

Literally my favorite place in long beach! Definitely will be going back, everything was so tasty and the staff were amazing! Only thing is the rosemary fries were so addictive i wish i got more for the price but other than that 10/10!

Stopped in for a Gardenburger on our way out of town. Happy to see a veggie option. Prices were reasonable. About $8. I'll stop by next time I'm in Long Beach.

Stopped in for some soft serve. The mini is a pretty decent size cone and the large is exactly that. No indoor seating, just outside. The parking lot is nice and freshly paved with new tire stops. Parking on the north side of the building is easiest for access in/out.

Love this place. Cute little building with a nostalgic vibe to it. The burgers are good and we either get the onion rings or tater tots. If you order ahead, it'll be ready in 10-15mins, which is ideal for us! They do not offer senior discounts, However, they do offer military discounts! I definitely recommend coming here if you get the chance.

Pretty expensive for what you get, but it tasted good and was very filling. Service could definitely be better but no one was rude. We went there because it's a old school local burger joint.

We stopped in here after a long morning of hiking. The burgers were really great. While waiting for our food to be prepared several other customers all locals told us how they have been coming to this place for years and they have the best burgers around! I love little stories like that!

If you want a good burger this is the place. The Giant burgers are really good along with their milkshakes.

Yummy food at a fair price. Especially compared to other local eateries. I would definitely recommend the big bun burger :)

It happened to be the evening of a Seahawks game-so it was crowded. The staff was totally on the ball and seated us in a booth in a minute. The food was delicious. I like calamari, but done wrong, they can taste like fried rubber bands. Not these! They were delicious, prepared perfectly, with a delicious dipping sauce. Our meals came out promptly and were delicious. Try the fish tacos! I'd come back again if I visit the area again.

We arrived before 5:00 pm, and it took a while to even put an order in. Even though we were sitting in the bar and there were a LOT of servers/bussers/etc. We ordered the Mushroom burger, the Chicken Bacon Guac burger and the Prime Rib Dip. Let's start with the pros - the Chicken Bacon Guac burger was pretty good! But the Prime Rib Dip had something like shredded meat on it, not sliced meat. So, when you dipped it in the Au jus, chunks of meet fell into the Au jus. Be ready to fish them out with a fork! The Mushroom burger was an exceptionally thin burger. Our server asked how we wanted it cooked. But it didn't matter. A burger that thin was coming out well done, no matter what. It had mushrooms on it, but not many at all. And we ordered the Cajun Tater Tots. Tonight, it was just like someone cooked tater tots, then shook some seasoning on them, and maybe the lid fell off the seasoning? They were drenched in some kind of Cajun-adjacent spice. We had recently been telling visiting guests that the Lost Roo was the one consistent, reasonably priced restaurant on the peninsula. We're going to have to stop telling people that now. Sadly, it'll be a while before we go back.

I ordered a pasta salad, and it came with lettuce and no pepperoncini. We also ordered a taco salad, and it was served without salsa or sour cream. Then we were told they didn't have any mustard for sandwiches, yet somehow there's ketchup sitting on the table for the french fries. How does a restaurant serving sandwiches not have mustard? What really topped it off was when I complained to our server. His response was basically that he's quitting in two weeks and that I should talk to the kitchen manager because he's the one who makes the menu. That tells you everything you need to know. To the kitchen manager: before putting items on a menu, learn how those dishes are actually supposed to be prepared and make sure the restaurant has the basic condiments and ingredients needed to serve them. The whole experience felt disorganized and poorly managed from beginning to end. Based on our visit, I absolutely would not recommend The Cove Restaurant. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I usually have this burger while enjoying a beer inside the North Jetty Brewery. They will deliver to your table. We went to the mini Octoberfest that North Jetty was throwing and ordered the Special Sausage that was created for this event. Wow, this was over $12 for a sausage with No Bun, and Dry. Placed on top of the fries which became soggy. Although the sausage had good flavor, we all agreed the beer was needed to wash it down. I recommend sticking with the Burgers.
