We were visiting the area for work, and we wanted to try this option on our first day. We show up at 11:55am and the signs are off and the doors are locked. We went across the road to another establishment, and we saw that just after 12pm they had the signs on and we watched people enter their restaurant. We assumed that they maybe opened at 12pm, which we thought was wild, but we then looked online and it said they should have been open since 7am in the morning. We went back to try this restaurant another day, and it was packed. The interior is fairly rustic. There is a lot of lumberjack and forest type decor. The front has pies, milkshakes, and it feels almost like a diner. Our server was very sweet, and helpful. It did take us well over 30-40min to get our order. The food was nothing special. The burgers were gigantic, but it was mostly the bun that was oversized. The tater tots were incredibly crispy. They must have been deep fried. The Ultimate burger was very impressive. Some tips: Their pies look delicious. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to try one of their many pies. We also noticed there is quite a variety of milk shake flavors to choose from and you can mix and match. Also, their brunch menu looked very pretty solid. Cheers!!

Had a great family lunch here on our way home from Astoria. Very reasonably priced kids menu. I had the western burger and it was delicious! Cute interior with the restaurant and bathrooms very clean. All of our lunch plates came with a pickle and orange slice which was a nice touch. Our waitress was excellent and checked on us regularly and refilled our drinks. Will definitely stop back here on my next drive out to the coast.

Food is good and hardy. Service is slow cause she is so busy. Ambiance is nice and mello.

We have driven by this place for so many years on our way to Astoria and we stopped. We got a booth seat quickly and our order was taken and food delivered after a bit and that's when our server disappeared (we walked up to the register to get our bill and pay). My side salad was good and my bacon cheeseburger looked "good" but in the end was probably not the best decision I made from their menu. My husband enjoyed his chicken wrap with side of onion rings. Pepsi products only. Our curiosity had been satisfied and now we know. If your curious - stop by and give it a try.

We stumbled upon here on a recent drive from Astoria to Portland and stopped for breakfast. I thought the service was quick and friendly, the food good and the pricing correct for the amount of food you receive. I had the veggie omelet with home fries- which had chunks of fresh veggies and he had the bacon and eggs with hash browns. The bacon was crisp and not half cooked like you usually get. The reason I took 1 star away was the home fries weren't cooked all the way- only one side was crispy and the their 3 sides were mushy.

We were seated at a window table, which was great. We ordered a couple drinks and a couple appetizers. The crab dip and calamari were amazing. Probably the best crab dip I've ever had. For main courses, I ordered the seared scallops and added prawns to the dish as well as a side of their chowder. So good. Melt in your mouth scallops. The chowder was some of the best I've had. My wife ordered pasta Alfredo with shrimp. She said it was amazing as well. And my daughter ordered the Boullabaisse. I've never heard of it but it's a seafood bowl that is delicious and has many seafoods inside.. almost like a soup. She loved it. Dessert was a chocolate torte and a cheesecake slice. Again, amazing. This is a must go to restaurant if you want upscale in Astoria, Oregon. It is well worth the price. And you cannot beat the atmosphere and service. It is exceptional.

I had the clams and mussels chowder and halibut cakes that weren't bad but the highlights were the crab dip with the French / Sourdough bread and the Huckleberry Lemonade . My wife had a ribeye that she said was decent. Our server was excellent. She made sure our meal met our expectations and kept checking in on us. We were surprised that we couldn't find more seafood restaurants for being on the coast.

The Knot provided the perfect combination of both. The food was excellent! In particular, we absolutely loved the pickled rockfish, salmon chowder, salted chocolate caramel custard and house-made citrus NA ginger ale. We happily enjoyed our meal while watching ships, seals, birds and ocean life. The server told us about the ships and even a podcast report to learn more about passing vessel traffic. It simply made me want to return for a longer and slower visit! Maybe to sit by the fire pit out front while watching life go by. A bonus was a (free) EV hook up adjacent to the property.

We got our bread and basically finished it before we got our drinks. The bartender was new and she was looking at physical recipes to make each of our drinks. Im glad we weren't in a hurry. The view is outstanding and you can sit outside in the nice weather which we had that day because the inside is very small. We even saw a sea lion swimming off the pier as we enjoyed our drinks. A little pricey for what you get but overall still good but not somewhere I would return to with all the other options in the area.

The table wasn't wiped from previous glassware on the table but wasn't too bothersome. Napkins were already at the table so we could wipe it just fine. Despite it being in the heart of the tourism area, the vibe of the restaurant stayed classy for all guests. I saw employees of all kinds frequently greeting customers which made it feel all the more welcoming. The food itself beat my expectations. It was priced fairly for the quality we received. My husband and I came there for our anniversary and were very disappointed. Positives: Amazing view! Delicious cocktails, and great service. My salmon was cooked perfectly. Negatives: Quality of food. My cilantro rice was absolute mush. I am not sure how it left the kitchen. My husband's seafood boil was overcooked: crab was dry, almost everything overcooked even corn. For $65 for the bake expected better. The bread was dry and hard. I have loved this restaurant for awhile so it makes me sad to write this review. I paid for an expensive anniversary dinner and got a basic meal that was overall very poor quality. I am not sure if I will return.
