    Red posole

I really wanted to love this spot! It's so close to home and super cute and I could absolutely see myself coming by to meet with friends or to work on my computer. I was disappointed with the food and drink though so the stars I have were mostly for the welcoming feel. I ordered the honey almond latte and it had zero flavor it was just watered down coffee and frothy almond milk. The red pozole was very good with a flavorful broth and lots of spice but it was entirely all hominy with not even a single piece or meat. The avocado toast I took to go and my very first bite there was a long brown hair intertwined with the avocado so I had to throw it away I will try again but for now a 3 star is all I could muster with my first experience.

Súper cute coffee shop with lots of options both in drinks and food. They have some brunch items too. We had the smoked salmon bagel and snow flake coffee. Everything was delicious, my daughter had a coffee too but I can't remember the name. Both were cold brews. The staff was very kind and patient as we looked at the extensive menu. The bagel was good, if you like salmon taste you will love this one. It was packed, the bagel itself was soft and made it even more enjoyable. Highly recommend it. I also loved that they didn't start making the coffee until after the sandwich was made. We will definitely be back. The inside isn't super huge but there was lots of seating.

Great hidden coffee shop. Plenty of seat and a massive variety of drinks and snacks. We grabbed a fruit tart and I had a Pumpkin patch which was very good. Great little coffee shop vibe! Great for a girls morning to catch up.

Ordered Santa's cookie cold brew which was good, def on the sweeter side and had chunks of cookie in it- unique for sure but a little sweet for me. I went there specially to study and the music was pretty loud and there wasn't too much space, however they have outlets available so that's a plus!

Really good quality espresso and coffee. Good portions for the price. Very friendly staff. Food is also really good, I had the scrambled eggs and sourdough toast.

A locals' spot that works well for a quick cup of coffee or a light bite. The morning I visited, the music was a bit loud and seating was limited. They offer a nice variety of pastries, both wrapped and under glass. They're ikely not baked that morning, but still enjoyable. I had a thick slice of pumpkin bread, which was moist and flavorful, along with a latte. While the coffee doesn't quite reach the level of third-wave shops like Press or Cartel, it's a perfectly good option if you're in the area and want something quick and convenient.

Stopped by after a work engagement. I desperately needed coffee to survive the rest of the day lol I ordered a banana toffee latte or something similar to that name. I don't think I've ever had anything like that, it was so creamy yet refreshing. The interior was super cute but is a super tightly filled space. I felt a teeny bit claustrophobic. The service was nice and quick!

I love local coffee and try to keep local beans on hand for my morning cup. That's what brought me to Cortado, well and the protein waffle! I ordered a cold brew with cream and the Nutella protein waffle. The coffee was pretty standard. The waffle is so good that you doubt that it should be called a protein waffle! And honestly, at 15 grams of protein it can't go head to head with a protein shake when it comes to macros, but it sure is more delish. It's a good treat! I selected a bag of beans from the back wall of the store. There were no prices marked, but I usually find the price consistent at other local coffee roasters. When they rang the coffee up for $28... I realized that this was one of those situations of 'if you need to ask the price then you can't afford it.' The staff was kind in response to my sticker shock. Like many of the neighborhood locals, I'll be back soon for brunch or a cold brew!

Such masterful quality in a casual "want" location. This establishment effortlessly redefines expectations. The Brown Gold, shaken to silken perfection and crowned with tiramisu cold foam --rich, balanced, and I'm forever kissing Starbucks goodbye! The desserts are simply divine. The combinations are extensive, creative, and flawlessly executed--no weak links, just one showstopper after another. The entire space glows with pride. Even more impressive is the staff: I overheard a customer ask a flurry of detailed questions, and the team responded with infinite patience and warmth. Another guest summed it up perfectly: "What other place would be so knowledgeable and kind to explain all this?" That moment alone spoke volumes. Despite the excellence, prices remain astonishingly reasonable. Value, quality, and experience are perfectly aligned here. This isn't just a hidden gem--it's a glowing beacon!

Hard to choose one, so choose 'em all!

Cortado is the perfect place for a meetup with friends on a delightfully drizzly morning. The warm, inviting atmosphere with lots of wood paneling, table seating as well as upholstered conversational seating is great for small groups. There's an extensive drink menu with a variety of choices from seasonal coffees and matchas and standard hot and cold beverages. So many food choices for the hungry - breakfast sandwiches, avocado bagels and a vast array of baked goods. The glass cloches reveal so many tempting baked goods - cookies, bars, brownies and more. Come hungry and take some home to share! The BC in their name references the former Bread Crafters stores, missing their sandwiches? Now you have a good alternative! Ask them to dial down the sweetness level on any of the drinks, even at half sweet I had a sugar rush!

Love the coffee and matcha here! 10/10 on the cold foam. Had the jalapeño bagel also which was fresh and big. Totally recommend this place

We have been meaning to try Sweet Paris for quite some time, though we never managed to make it there...until recently. We enjoyed the overall experience, the ambiance of the restaurant, the service, the food itself, and the promotions via the app. We certainly look forward to returning again in the future. When we arrived on a Sunday evening, there were very few customers in the restaurant and no wait to go right up to the register to place an order. We both placed our orders. My wife ordered a Truffled Caprese savory crepe consisting of mozzarella, basil infused cherry tomatoes, and truffle oil. I ordered a seasonal savory crepe in the Chicken Piccata consisting of grilled chicken, mozzarella, capers, parsley, and a bright lemon butter sauce. Both were served with a fresh side salad. We both tried each other's crepes and thought both crepes were absolutely delicious! The meal was topped off with great service as the manager and serving staff took turns checking on us over and over throughout the meal. The seating was plentiful with many options of where to sit. There was also a parking structure right near the restaurant. Sweet Paris is a French creperie and cafe in Scottsdale. The restaurant showcases elegant chandeliers, a chic Parisian interior, and the aroma of freshly made crepes from their open kitchen. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. This location is open from 8 AM to 8 PM from Sunday through Thursday and then from 8 AM to 9 PM on Friday and Saturday. They serve sweet crepes, savory crepes, kids crepes, croffles, waffles, fresh bowls, breakfast crepes and eggs, soups, salads, paninis, hot drinks, milkshakes, signature drinks, and more. Visit their website at https://www.sweetparis.com to order online, view locations, to see the menu, to cater for a special event. Download the app and join the reward program to order ahead of pickup, collect whisks for rewards, get the inside scoop, and get a special birthday bonus. I had been saving my rewards for some time and ended up with two free crepes (one being for my recent birthday). I found you could make two orders to use two free crepe rewards. I certainly enjoyed this experience and will be back. I recommend it to anyone enjoying Parisian food, especially crepes. While the price is higher than I would have expected, it is easy to earn a rewards to offset the cost.

I had no idea they were open that late! What a charming place. It wasn't very busy, which I'm assuming was because it was dinner time and perhaps not everyone realizes they are open that late. The menu offers so many options that it was honestly hard to decide, everything looked delicious. Since it was dinner, we chose savory crêpes, but the sweet crêpes looked fantastic, and the breakfast crêpes (served until 3pm) look great too! I ordered the Nordic Crêpe, filled with smoked salmon, dill sour cream, capers, scallions, pickled red onions, and lemon. It was served with a side salad of baby greens. I enjoyed it and thought the flavors worked well together. I would have liked a little more filling, but overall it was a good meal, and I especially enjoyed the fresh side salad. My daughter ordered the Truffled Caprese Crêpe with mozzarella, basil, cherry tomatoes, and truffle oil. Hers was absolutely delicious, and I would definitely order that one myself next time. My friend chose the Cali Truffle Crêpe, which came with turkey, mozzarella, bacon, truffle oil, basil, cherry tomatoes, and spring mix. She ordered the avocado and jalapeños it comes with on the side. She had mixed feelings about it. The bacon seemed to overpower the other flavors, and she didn't get much of the truffle taste she was expecting. For drinks, my daughter had the Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte and loved it. I ordered the Spritz à Paris, made with Prosecco, orange bitters, and sparkling water. It was light, refreshing, and paired nicely with dinner. I loved the beautiful chandeliers and the overall atmosphere of the space. They also have an outdoor patio that would be nice during the fall and winter months when the weather is cooler. We had a lovely experience and will definitely be back. Next time, I want to try the breakfast menu and one of the sweet crêpes. I also have my eye on their frozen mimosa!

WeBe Coffee Roasters is one of those finds that makes you wish you had discovered it sooner. Even more so, I wish I lived closer. The space alone is worth the trip. The team put real thought into every aspect of the experience. The counter has a beautiful waved ribbed wood design, the colors are immersive without being overwhelming, and the whole interior has a visual balance that most designers would be proud of. There are flowers around the cafe that give it a gentle, unexpected touch. I genuinely regretted not bringing a better camera. But the coffee is the real story. They source specialty beans from different parts of the world and roast in-house on a Primo roaster, which is a hand-built machine that serious roasters invest in. I had a double espresso, something I cannot live without, and it held up to the room. The seating is comfortable and well thought out. There is room for conversation and room to get work done. I ended up staying longer than I planned, which is always the sign of a good spot. They also have a merch area with coffee gear worth browsing, and bags of their roasted coffee available to take home. On the back wall there is a mural that reads, "Making good coffee, good fun." That line does a better job describing this place than anything I could write. This one feels like it belongs in Scottsdale. North Phoenix is lucky to have it.

We got some cookies from the bakery and it's weighed for pricing. The chocolate butter cookies were delicious but the other ones tasted a bit funny and not at all like butter cookies. We ordered an iced brown sugar oat milk shaken with cold foam and iced turtle with cold foam. The lady at the register was nice and asked if we really wanted cold foam, and we said yes twice. The coffee was taking a while so we walked around the area and looked at their merchandise but the coffees still wasn't done so we sat at the chairs and tables by the coffee place. The lady at the register stated that the cold foam wasn't working out and they are trying and asked if we still wanted to wait. Well of course we did cause we paid an extra dollar and some change for the cold foam. So it's odd that she was going to give us the coffee without it and not even ask if we wanted anything else in place of that. After what seemed like 15 minutes waiting for iced coffee we finally got it and as you can see from the picture, there was barely any cold foam. The lady was nice but the experience was lacking due to the order not being what we really wanted. Both coffees were sweet and it was not terrible. I'd go back for the baked goods only.
