WeBe Coffee Roasters is one of those finds that makes you wish you had discovered it sooner. Even more so, I wish I lived closer. The space alone is worth the trip. The team put real thought into every aspect of the experience. The counter has a beautiful waved ribbed wood design, the colors are immersive without being overwhelming, and the whole interior has a visual balance that most designers would be proud of. There are flowers around the cafe that give it a gentle, unexpected touch. I genuinely regretted not bringing a better camera. But the coffee is the real story. They source specialty beans from different parts of the world and roast in-house on a Primo roaster, which is a hand-built machine that serious roasters invest in. I had a double espresso, something I cannot live without, and it held up to the room. The seating is comfortable and well thought out. There is room for conversation and room to get work done. I ended up staying longer than I planned, which is always the sign of a good spot. They also have a merch area with coffee gear worth browsing, and bags of their roasted coffee available to take home. On the back wall there is a mural that reads, "Making good coffee, good fun." That line does a better job describing this place than anything I could write. This one feels like it belongs in Scottsdale. North Phoenix is lucky to have it. read more

I also tried the espresso tonic--the espresso paired surprisingly well with the tonic water for a super refreshing drink. Finally got to try WeBe after weeks of this place being on my list, it's just that their hours of 7a-3p usually doesn't align with my work or weekend schedule (where I usually like to sleep in). The outside is very unassuming; it's nestled in an unremarkable-appearing complex with a sign that just says "coffee" outside. Upon entering, the space is spacious and vibrant with a colorful interior design. There are 2 seating areas toward the left (with many tables and some booths) and the right (with many booths lining the wall) then a large table toward the back. Given the ample access to the natural sunlight, I opted to sit toward the left at a booth with my back to the barista section. There was free wifi (must ask barista for code, no small sign) and charging underneath my seat! I am usually drawn to seasonal/specialty drink menus. At the time, there was a "Spring in the Desert" Menu with a floral "wildflower shaken espresso" (honey + espresso + milk), citrus "grapefruit splash" (sparkling pink grapefruit + ginger + espresso), and herb "bay leaf brown sugar latte" exclusive to this location (housemade bay leaf syrup + espresso + milk. As I was interested in all 3 options, I asked the barista which would be the sweetest, and she recommended the bay leaf brown sugar latte! The syrup added a unique dimension while being a balanced level of sweet, with delicious coffee at the base of the drink. It's in a plaza and it just says "coffee" on the outside When you get near the door you see the name "webe coffee roasters" it's a cute but very small cafe Their coffee is super delicious. I hap a drip which was an organic single origin Guatemalan coffee. It was light and very flavorful. I thought it had notes of toasted nuts and light hints of cocoa and spice. I really enjoyed it. My friend tried the blueberry crumble latte and though she said it wasn't as blueberry flavored as she thought it would be it was delicious and she doesn't like coffee so that says something. I didn't try any pastries but she had a berry danish and it looked quite tasty. The gentleman who was our barista was very kind and informative. The latte I bought was so tasty, I am definitely going to be coming back here: The place is very clean and staff is very friendly. Now the other best thing is that there is a bakery that is a little far from me but this coffee shop isn't and to my surprise I walk in and see these amazing pastries and they confirmed they are from Chaconne Patisserie. Wow - this place absolutely lives up to the hype. Hands down the best coffee I've ever had in my life. It's cozy and inviting, the kind of spot where you could easily open your laptop and settle in for a few hours. It's on the smaller side, but dog friendly (which I love) - we saw a few adorable pups while we were there. Now for the best part: the food and coffee. My husband and I both ordered the brown sugar iced latte with oat milk, and wow. The oat milk was perfectly creamy, and the coffee itself was so smooth with incredible flavor. We took one sip, looked at each other, eyes wide, and instantly knew we'd found a gem. We also shared the coffee cake (topped with pecans and powdered sugar) and a croissant. We took them to go and heated them up at home - highly recommend doing that. The croissant was unbelievably buttery, light, and flaky - truly the best I've ever had. The coffee cake was moist and delicious with the perfect nutty crunch from the pecans. The baristas were super friendly and easy to chat with while grabbing our pastries. This place is at the bottom of my coffee spots. Won't be going back. Bad location as well. Not a great area. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the employees were nice. Some of the best coffee I have ever had. Like many other places I have been to, I found WeBe Coffee Roasters on Yelp. When I saw the ratings, I decided to try it. Their high rating is justified. The young lady taking my order was friendly and helpful. She offered to answer any questions I might have had while browsing the menu. Upon looking through their menu, I ordered a vanilla latte. It was one of the best vanilla lattes I have ever had. Loaded with flavor, and easy on my insides. I also like the atmosphere of the place. It had a nice modern feel to it, and I also appreciated the cleanliness. Although I did not get any of the pastries they had, they looked delicious, and I appreciated the nice variety they offered. Another reviewer mentioned that the pastries are from a local baker. When local businesses are supporting each other, that is a big green flag every time. Wife and I stopped in to check out a new-to-us coffee shop. WeBe has an astounding Slayer Espresso machine and roasting in the rear of the shop. It happened to be a relatively packed venue, but we were still able to find seating indoors. Despite my typical fascination with coffee drinks from stellar machines, I chose the Strawberry Matcha and was blown away. Wife chose the pistachio latte which was good, but was relatively mild on the pistachio flavor.
