Came in on my way somewhere else & in desperate need of some coffee. I was a little suspicious of this place at first. It's a stand alone coffee shop on Cave Creek Rd & kind of random. No bells or whistles but I was pleasantly surprised at how quaint it was inside. Staff was friendly & helpful. I asked what a favorite was & hot or cold. Recommendation was the hot "kaleidoscope," with chocolate & raspberry. They don't have heavy cream but they do have half & half. I also got an almond croissant. Bad: croissant wasn't awesome, it was heavy/dense. Not a fan. Good: kaleidoscope was awesome. Highly recommend. The chocolate and raspberry combo is always great. Raspberry not overly powerful but nice, subtle, & flavorful. Would definitely get again & would definitely recommend. I would say this is a nice place. Reasonably priced. The inside doesn't match the outside for sure but it's absolutely worth the visit. Do yourself a favor & stop by.

3.5 (but rounding up) Stopped by this place as I wanted to check it out! It's very tiny but cozy and at first I thought it was only a drive thru until I saw an entrance. Tanya helped me with my matcha decision. I will say the ceremonial matcha is very earthy tasting so I wish I had gone with the sweeter matcha (she did warn me this). We added lavender but I couldn't taste it at all even though I paid extra for it. It's also on the pricier side I will say as a single iced matcha was $10. No complaints on the service, I just didn't like my order and will Maybe have to try something different next time if I came back! I was too nervous to say anything so that's my fault lol

Such a surprising spot is you're driving through. Pop in and check it out! So cute inside, strong espresso! Moses' service was excellent!

Chai, Passionfruit tea, croissant ham and cheese sandwich, and waffles with an egg and cheddar. Delicious.

We loved the friendly service, that there was a lot of seating inside and outside on a Sunday morning and we loved our drinks (passionfruit tea, and Fawn breve chai) and food (croissant ham and cheese sandwich, and waffles with eggs, cheddar, and sausage. Parking on site too. Lovely experience.

Went through the drive through and got an iced mocha. The drink had good flavor and no syrup on the bottom either. Nice staff member too.

Honestly the best coffee in the valley! Definitely the only place that will offer 5 different brewing styles. I'm a huge fan of this new location - less slammed than Tempe. So choosing what you want and how isn't stressful haha. Charley and Kieran take great care in educating you on their selection. I got their Typica off the Colombian Competition Series beans and it was amazing. Light, fruity and tea like. The perfect place for your coffee connoisseur

Great way to start your Saturday or any morning with gluten free bagel. Black mango iced tea with a splash of lavender and fabulous staff to put a smile on your face. Always gluten free treats available. They keep switching it up too. Thank you for opening right across from my office. Look for the red roof

I went to infusion earlier this year in Tempe and was excited to heard they opened up this new location closer to me in north Phoenix! Stopped by before some errands today. The baristas were super nice and helpful. I got a decaf latte with orange and clove syrup, iced with oat milk! I've been consuming minimal caffeine since I'm pregnant so I have been trying a LOT of decaf lattes today, and I've noticed they don't have much flavor sometimes, like I can't really taste the espresso. But I could definitely taste it in this one! Really good! And didn't get watery or anything. Was ready fast too. The space is super cute inside, really glad I have a new nearby spot!

The coffee here is top notch. You can tell they take pride in how the coffee is made and brewed with a plethora of choices on how coffee is made. They have a very impressive large menu of teas as well. The sunrise sandwich was delicious. The service was great. It's now our new go-to coffee shop!

You order first and then find a seat, so it's a little bit of a shuffle, but the woman behind the counter was genuinely helpful with recommendations and what's popular. And once we ordered, the food came out pretty fast. We kicked things off with the Big Dill appetizer, and when they say "giant," they're not kidding. It's a comically large pickle, seasoned up and cut into four spears. The seasoning was actually really good, nice flavor, the right amount of spice. I'll be honest: I'm not a huge pickle person, so I didn't fall in love... but if you are a pickle person, this is absolutely your moment. I tried the brunch burrito and it was a solid portion, filling, well-built, and the avocado salsa helped a lot (I was using it like a cheat code). The only reason I wouldn't come back specifically for that burrito is the flavors didn't really pop for me, and I wished the potatoes had more crisp and there was more seasoning on the eggs. It wasn't bad at all just not a "I'm still thinking about this tomorrow" type of burrito. The drinks though? Really unique, I had the French toast latte and the banana hazelnut latte, and they serve them in this super cool commercial can sealer setup. It's such a clever touch as if your coffee came with packaging confidence. Better yet, the lattes were actually delicious and you could taste the quality of the beans underneath the flavors. We also tried the Philly cheesesteak, and it's a BIG sandwich on what tastes like a homemade sesame hoagie. The "shaved ribeye" looked more like finely chopped/ground ribeye, but honestly... it worked. It tasted great with the cheese sauce and hit the spot. The fries that came with it were steak fries, cooked to perfection, with a few extra-crispy pieces mixed in (which is basically the fry jackpot). And then there was the avocado + burrata bagel... which might be the best bagel I've ever had and I don't say that lightly. The everything bagel was fresh, toasted perfectly, and the toppings blended together so well that every bite somehow got better than the last. I also tried the lox and it was worth the money, generous smoked salmon, capers, tomato, the whole deal. Bottom line: there's a lot to love here, and it's going to take me a few more visits to work through all the menu items that look worth trying. Come hungry, expect a line at peak brunch, and don't leave without that avocado burrata bagel (and maybe one of those sealed lattes, because it's just fun).

For our bagel, we ordered an everything bagel with charcuterie cream cheese, which I can best describe as everything but the kitchen sink - capicola, mortadella, salami, provolone, artichokes, tomoatoes, roasted peppers, pepperocini, olives and red onion - all chopped up and mixed into the cream cheese. Somehow it all seems to work in terms of flavor, but as for the bagel itself I wish it were a bit bigger and had more chew, although it was decent. The biggest disappointment was with our cinnamon roll and coffees. They were out of the regular cinnamon roll so we ordered the salted caramel one. The sad part was it was cold. I mean who wants a cold cinnamon roll, even the one at Cinnabon is warm. As for the coffees, we ordered the banana hazelnut and strawberry matcha. We assumed the coffees would be hot but were given iced coffees. Only later we noticed they can be ordered either hot or iced, and wished the server had asked for our preference. As for the iced coffees, I'm not quite sure I understand the whole concept of putting them in soda cans, as the foam got stuck to the top of the can and all the flavor sank down to the bottom.

One thing I appreciate about Chompie's is that it feels comfortable instead of trendy. Good booths, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, and a menu that's massive enough that you can keep trying different things without getting bored. Over the years I've had everything from the Jewish Sliders to the Reuben, Monte Cristo, Five Town Special, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Lox and Loaded, and the Scottsdale Breakfast Sandwich. Honestly, I don't think I've had a bad meal there yet. My wife's favorites are the Half Chicken, Bronx Brisket Dipper, and the Holy Pierogi if she wants something lighter. She also absolutely loves their pickles. Pro tip: if you ask, they'll bring out extra pickles for free, which immediately scores points in our house. One underrated thing there is the coleslaw. We almost always get slaw instead of fries now. The fries are perfectly fine, but the slaw is weirdly excellent and fits the deli vibe better anyway. The coffee also deserves a mention because it's legitimately excellent diner/deli coffee. Rich, hot, flavorful, and it somehow fits the place perfectly. They actually roast the coffee on site, which honestly surprised me the first time I found out because most people probably just assume it's standard restaurant coffee. It's not. Sitting in a booth with good coffee while waiting on tires nearby has kind of become part of the whole experience for us. The only real downside to Chompie's is that some sandwiches are so oversized they become difficult to eat without half the contents trying to escape out the back side. Honestly though, that's a pretty easy problem to forgive when the food tastes good. Phoenix may not have true East Coast deli culture, but Chompie's feels like one of those places that has genuinely become part of local life. Reliable comfort food, good service, and the kind of restaurant you end up returning to for years instead of just once for social media photos.

From the outside, the place doesn't look like much, tucked away in a small shopping center. Once inside, there are a plentiful number of tables in the smallish restaurant, which does not feel at all cramped. It is tastefully decorated, and you order at a counter, and they will either call you to get your food or bring it out to you. On the day we were there, the owner was behind the counter and took our order. He asked if we had been there before, and since I had not, he took the time to explain the menu to me. They focus nearly exclusively on chicken tenders, and we opted to share The Three Tenders, which comes with...you guessed it...three chicken tenders (with your choice of heat level), three warmed tortillas, pickles, and alley sauce (the house dipping sauce) on the side. We added sides of French fries and Cole slaw, and the owner gave me a free fountain drink since it was my first time there. So nice! We grabbed a high-top table, and once the food came out, and I bit into the first tender, I knew I was eating the best chicken tenders I have ever eaten. Seriously. These are awesome and at a decent price, too. The tenders are very large and perfectly breaded. The spiciness matches the heat level you choose--not to little and not too much. No mushy tempura batter here either. And the house dipping sauce was perfectly suited to the tenders. The fries and slaw were great, too.
