Came for the first time to see Ebenezer Scrooge and WOW were we impressed! My parents visited the old Dallas location when they first met and fell in love. My Mom has since passed and my Dad brought the family this year for Christmas and now we understand why they've been around so long! This was such a fun experience. The music was amazing, the acting was wonderful for all ages of the cast and the service was great. Make sure to come early and have a bite to eat before the show. This venue is amazing and we felt right at home. There isn't a bad seat in the house. We arrived too late for dinner service but enjoyed the chip and dip trio and the sundae. The live band was a great addition to the cast and crew and clearly there is tremendous attention to detail in these shows. Can't wait to come back! read more

What a fun experience! We went for one of the melodrama productions, which from what I understand are a highlight for regulars. I have to agree. We had a ton of fun, throwing popcorn and making the appropriate boo-hiss and awwwwws where needed. I had been to the old Dallas location a couple of times but this was my first time at the Carrollton new location. I loved it. The show was hilarious--the cast and music was amazing. It was so much fun and my friends and I can't wait to keep coming back to new shows. The food was good as well. We had the charcuterie plate, chips with three dips, Reuben sandwich, a grilled chicken pocket and the cheesecake with turtle topping. Just like this theater - the food was eclectic and fun. I also love a place that still serves pitchers of drinks (sangria!). Not many places do anymore, so they deserve your patronage even if just for that! We very much enjoyed our visit to Pocket Sandwich theater. This was our first visit to their new location. If it is your first visit to pocket Sandwich I recommend coming for one of their popcorn throwing melodramas. The casting is always on point and they are great at interacting with the popcorn throwing as it makes sense for staying in character. We had been fans of Pocket Sandwich Theater at their old location, and hadn't had the chance to check them out at their new location yet. So, when a friend of ours set up an event for us to go to a Melodrama we jumped on the excuse to make the drive out there. The set up is very similar to how the set up was at the old location, just feels a little more spread out for them. Though I will admit the tables right up front you may feel a little tight. Food was pretty decent portions, on the nachos I would have done better getting the half order but someone in our group finished the rest of them for me. They give your group a comped thing of popcorn for every two people; but it is only .50 cents as of writing to get another thing of popcorn to be able to toss at your friends, the actors, or get into a popcorn war with another table. The actors did an amazing job as always at the show that we went too. My friend is already planning a return trip, and I was talking to my husband that we need to remind our kids about Pocket Sandwich and bring them up here again. read more

We had a lot of fun here! It is definitely a fun way to spend an afternoon if you are relaxed and want to have fun. The food was decent enough. The desserts were yummy! The play was fun and goofy. We saw the four weddings and an Elvis and were entertained by the play and the actors. I had no expectations going into see the play "I Hate Hamlet". We bought 8 tickets and I took my family and in-laws there to have a little family night. IT WAS FANTASTIC!! the ambience feels great, the waiters are funny & sweet, & the actors are awesome too! The show was captivating but it also had some comedy to it that kept everyone laughing. The lighting, sound effects, and props were great too. I honestly was blown away at it all for being a smaller venue, it truly didn't feel that way! We will be coming back to see another play as a whole family again!! My entire family from ages 16-60s had a wonderful night & everyone left raving about the place. read more

Saturday evening was unlike any of the previous shows, dozens that go way back to the 90's. However, this time highlighted the opposite of what good ownership should look like in a small company. Not to mention a company that should thrive on the interaction of patrons in an appropriate way. Again, we were not first timers. I personally knew Joe Dickinson as he supported students at SMU school of Arts- specifically our theatre department. I wonder how he would feel to know that the trajectory of the theatre isn't how he envisioned it to be in 2025. read more

This was a lot of fun. The food was pretty good. I had a baked potato, my wife had a sandwich. The food was plentiful. Over all it was a great experience. The show was super funny. My only criticism would be that the chairs are a little uncomfortable. Honestly though we were having such a good time we didn't hardly notice. Still a five star experience. What a fun, fun, fun night!! We arrived to watch the performance of Jekyll and Hyde. Our server was on fire and set the stage for an entertaining evening. He was efficient, funny, and friendly. We just visited the new location for the first time and we loved it! We have so many great memories at the old location so we were bummed when they said they were moving but we were pleasantly surprised... The new space is bigger and the bathrooms are nicer.
