REAL POST FROM A REAL PERSON WITH REAL EXPERIENCE! I was recommended by a friend to go to this dental office. I had my first visit in 2021, cleaning and a silver filling removal inplace of a porcelain filling. After the silver in my mouth was replaced, I started experiencing pain on the lower right side of my jaw. I assumed that because I had just gotten work done, the pain would go away......it did not! I went to another dentist office (about 2 months later) to get x-rays of my tooth and to see why I was hurting soo bad. That office then told me that I had an infection and needed a root canal and crown. This was the tooth that Cosmetic Micro Dentist worked on. So, after thinking about the situation, I didn't feel comfortable going back to Cosmetic, so instead, I opted out for a trip to Mexico. There, I had my root canal placed and the procedure went well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After some time, my skepticism wore off and I went back to Cosmetic Micro, dealt with the same female Doc and she encouraged me to remove my other silver filling and replace them with porcelain on tooth 31.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was a little nervous but I thought to myself, maybe what happend to me before was a 1-off type thing. Wrong.....DEAD WRONG. Immediately after she removed my silver filling I started experiencing terrible pain while she was actually working on my tooth. She had to add more anesthesia to numb me. This all took place around November of 2024. Shortly after...I started experiencing pain like the first time. I was soo pissed at myself because I had known as a matter-of-fact that it was this dentist who was jacking me up! I then went to 3 separate offices to get 3 separate opinions of what was really happening to me and why I was experiencing excruciating pain on tooth #31. As I suspected...Root canal and crown needed.....AGAIN!!! What makes this worse is my 13 year old is experiencing pain from the work she's done on him also. Please ppl....stay away! This is a warning for those who have experienced not-so-great dentist and the folks who want to avoid bad practices. I will say that I believe this was a ploy to get money from me but I cannot be sure. What I am sure about is that after two jobs in two separate years I experienced the same horrible fate from the same doc. On the flip side. The office is clean and the staff are pretty decent. If you want a cleaning then sure, go for it. But any major work then I would not suggest this place. Believe, it takes a lot for me to take time out of my day to write a review. I care about ppl and I don't wanna see others go through the agony that I went through. As of 4/22/25..I had to get my wisdom extracted and now planning on another root canal and crown. Going to Cosmetic Dentist is just not worth the extra pain and cost. Hope's this helps someone. Below I've included (2) photos. Annie did my husband a root canal, day after procedure he hardly have any pain , few mothers ago my husband got 2 implants done everthing came out good, he was very happy with the end result. I came in for a tooth extraction and the experience was horrendous. The tooth site was not properly numbed and when i told the dentist that it hurt she proceeded to keep pulling on the tooth against my wishes anyways. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I told her i needed more numbing and she refused and said I'm just going to have to deal with it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The pain was intense. I started screaming from how painful it was but she just kept pulling. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was in agonizing pain but she didn't seem to care and kept pulling until it was out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That was easily one of the most painful experiences of my life and I'll be looking into legal action. Afterwards I asked for my tooth but they refused. They claimed it wasn't allowed which isn't cited in any law in the state of California and they refused to give me MY PROPERTY. That was a part of MY BODY and they refused to give it to me which my lawyer family deemed as theft. They'll be in touch with my lawyers. DO NOT come here. What an awful experience. read more

On the higher end when it comes to costs, and while the Dr. Is very great at showing where the issues are and what needs to be addressed, I could not help but feel like her overall goal is to get money out of her patients. I felt somewhat scolded for having the dental issues I had, and for not wanting to invest right away. The prices were absurd, and not everyone has the money to spend right away. Did not feel sincere, and left after one visit and never returned. I also have never not received a cleaning at a dental office, except here. She insisted I get deep cleaning which would've costed a pretty hefty amount. Got no cleaning done when I couldnt get the deep cleaning. read more

The first time going to Cosmetic Micro Dentistry was when my 8 year old daughter needed a baby root canal. My daughter was so nervous (I was too!) because we had an unpleasant experience with another dentist just before finding Cosmetic Micro! Dr. Muneer greeted her (us) with a very confident,rest assured attitude and made her feel very comfortable and trusting. Dr. was able to quickly and painlessly get the job done!! She was comfortable the entire time and there was no pain whatsoever even after the numbing had worn off! I knew that it was time to tackle years of dental work that I had been putting off due to my fears of going to the dentist & depression which led to my lack of personal self care. The office is so stunning, with beautiful TVs that they play calming music and any images of your teeth that need to be discussed. I can't express how much gratitude I hold for this dentist. The doctor here really helped me out starting when I was 12-13 weeks pregnant (in the middle of pandemic) I had a emergency and had to have my wisdom tooth removed I was so scared little did I know it would become one of the best dentist experiences I ever had. I say this with caution because everyone is different but I had no pain and little soreness i didn't even have to take pain medication she prescribed me I only took Tylenol for a day I couldn't believe it. Her and her staff are also very great with communication and even reached out to me the next day to make sure I was okay I really appreciate that! I first want to say that I have been to many dentists over the past 15 years. The doctor here is absolutely perfect not only do they use technology to help them find an issue but they also use it to show you what the problem is and how you can be preventative a future issues. I have had several procedures done with this office and the dentist is absolutely fabulous no pain recovery time is it painful she is absolutely amazing if you're reading this review because you were looking for a new dentist this is the place to go. Not only is the doctor great but so is the staff there.One other thing is they are always on time and when I mean by that is if you schedule an appointment you're seen right away as well as if they tell you that it takes about an hour or an hour and a half for your procedure that's about the time it takes. Not only were they super friendly and nice but they went above and beyond to make sure me and the baby were well taken care of. I was absolutely impressed by Dr. Muneer and her staff! Very friendly and professional. The Dr. took her time to thoroughly explain procedures and the benefits of them. I wish I could give 5 stars but honestly don't feel like they earned it. I was referred to them for being a great office and having the newest in technology and great dentist. Which she really is and informs you about everything detail by detail. I came in thinking I was going to get a clean up and something done other than just a run threw of my teeth and left VERY disappointed! I only got a run threw of what work needs to be done. I live about 50 min away and came down here just because my orthodontist recommended. But now I'm regretting coming and wasting my time and gas because I got nothing done.
