Dr. Bodhaine was my dentist when I was a little kid under my parents' insurance. When I grew up I went to different dentists. All of whom either scammed me out of money that my insurance was covering or ruined my teeth. All of that made me realize that Dr. Bodhaine is the one to go to! No other dentistry like this one. It's been several years since I became a patient here again and I can't see myself going to any other dentist. I am a patient of Dr. Bodhaine for three years and I am always highly satisfied with my dental visits. The front desk staff is exceptionally friendly and it's always a pleasure to talk with them to discuss my insurance coverage and make future appointments. Today was my six month check-up and the dental hygienist, Trina, performed a painless cleaning, explaining each step of the process and making recommendations for at-home care. Dr. Bodhaine did the exam and suggested I have some minor fillings done to prevent decay but he is not pushy. UPDATE: NEGLIGENCE!! Because of the terrible dental work I received from this dentist I am now having my THIRD root canal on this tooth! Thankfully it's with an Endodontic Doctor who knows what he is doing. There is still a 20% chance I will LOSE MY TOOTH! Detailed, thorough, patient, knowledgeable are all the terms to describe this young lady, but first and foremost-PROFESSIONAL! This is the best dental cleaning I have had in YEARS!! What a difference! 4 months ago I had a "cleaning " by a previous dentist in Covina. What a disappointment!! I left that office with residual plaque on my teeth. Not here! I can not thank Marina enough. I can't thank any of them enough. I cracked a tooth a bit ago and let it go way too long, till a holiday weekend, on top of Coronavirus That's one way to do it. I was miserable all weekend, I called over 15 dentists. On Tuesday morning, I called their office a minute before they opened and they answered. She may have heard the desperation in my voice, cause she got me in right away. Dr. Bodhaine is a really nice guy. No waisting time. Found problem, numbed me up and took that pain in the ass tooth out. The assistant was great. Talkative. Made me feel really comfortable. Had a few giggles in there. This is a great office. From beginning to end, this dentistry took care of me. Let me explain. I had a really bad infection from a root canal I had done somewhere else over 10 years ago. The infection caused me extreme agonizing pain that made me cry (literally) for about 2 days. I contacted Dr. Bodhaine through this Yelp because it said they would respond to emergencies. They weren't lying! Immediately, after texting the number, Marina responded to my emergency. She was able to squeeze me in the next morning. I was greeted and cared for with extreme care, and I was grateful to find immediate relief. Dr. Bodhaine has an amazing hand! He took care of my root canal, extracted another tooth, and I'm sure I will be back for my future dental needs. Once again, thank you Dr. Bodhaine! This man behaved unprofessionally with me. On previous occasions he was mild mannered. On this visit, after I told him that I was not satisfied with the color of my veneers, he surprisingly became petulant and argumentative. The appointment was for him to affix a veneer on a front tooth. ( That veneer had crumbled. ) However, he actually left me in a tilted back dental chair and left the building. He abandoned his job , without affixing the veneer, leaving me with a terrible smile right before a holiday. I was shocked. I can understand having a bad day, but this irresponsible behavior is unacceptable. I must say , he does not react well when a female disagrees with him. My husband and I will never go to this dentist again. read more

If you want to see how a REAL dental office is run, this is the place to go. I was a little bit skeptical of all the great reviews, but they are true. After 2 weeks of bone-deep pain and being all but useless at work, I submitted my new patient form online Friday night, sent a text (yes!) for emergency service, had a phone consultation on Saturday, and picked up an antibiotic from Kaiser. On Monday, I had a root canal, got a post and temp crown, and had a partial cleaning. The waiting area is cozy and inviting rather than impersonal. My view from the dental chair was swaying leaves, plants, and decorated wreaths outside the window. Staff were gentle and efficient while giving hairdressers a run for their money with friendly conversation. No one tried to upsell whitening, braces, etc. I left relieved and happy. read more

I've been going to Dr. Bodhaine for many years. Even after I moved to a town farther away, I ended up returning to his Claremont office. First off , he's a great dentist with a wonderful manner: friendly, patient, understanding. He gives options for different ways to approach problems. He lets me know if issues can be delayed or need early intervention. He never pushes for unnecessary treatments or up-sells. The office staff is wonderful, too. Always friendly and accommodating. Marina is their insurance specialist who solves the problems that can occur with bureaucratic insurance companies. And all the hygienists are top-notch. Even my husband, who historically hates going to the dentist, switched to Dr. Bodhaine and says he's the best. The pain in my toothache was so strong that it didn't let me sleep all morning. The next day i started looking at Yelp to decide which dentist could treat me. I stopped at the page of Gregrey F Bodhaine , DDS, the same one that had 5 Star. I called at 8:14 am on Monday. The manager Marina Fakhoury answered. She was very kind. I explained my problem to her and she asked me for the insurance number, which i did not know and i only remembered the name of the Company. She assured me that she would find out information to know what coverage i had. To my surprise, she called me in 7 minutes. She had found out all my information regarding my insurance. She patiently explained every detail despite being a new patient, she was able to get me an appointment the same day with Dr. Gregrey. I arrived at the consultation very sore, i could hardly speak. Ayleen the doctor's assistant, immediately took X-rays, and Dr. Gregrey examined the area and stated that i needed a root canal. I was traumatized, sinde 10 years ago i had a very bad experience with a dentist in LA to the point that after 10 years i returned to a dentist. They numbed the area, and after few minutes i felt relaxed; the played beautiful music from the 70s the doctor began to talk with his assistant about musical groups from the 70s as well. I felt absolutely nothing when they removed my tooth; i felt very relaxed and comfortable, it was as if the doctor's hand was blessed. After 45 minutes, they finished and i could smile again. Dr. Gregrey, Marina and Ayleen, i thank you from the bottom of my heart for how kindly you treated me. You guys are so professional, honest and kind; you treat your patients like real family. Asked if they accepted my insurance and they quickly responded that they did, so I made an appointment to get a veneer fixed. Everyone was super friendly and got me an appointment the same day. So I started seeing Dr. Bodhaine back in December after I had came from another dentist with a laundry list of issues. Root canals, crowns, cracked teeth, you name it, I needed. So the reason why I started to search for another dentist was because of all of this work needed, I was terrified!! And the dentist at that time didn't offer any "at ease" procedures. They were a bare minimum, basically bite down on a leather strap and say a prayer kind of place and I just couldn't do it. Immediately I started calling different offices, letting them know of all of my issues and how big of a wuss I was and what they could do to help a frightened child; me. Surprisingly there were quite a few understanding offices with many solutions, but it was Yelp that brought me to Dr. Bodhaine and the sweet, soothing words of Marina in their front office that sealed the deal! She told me everything I wanted to hear, put my mind at ease, got me in that week and delivered on everything she had promised, including making me a cup of coffee on arrival. Yes, I was promised that too! I have never had that type of an experience at a dental office. Now to Dr. Bodhaine, I relayed my fear and hesitation to him as well and again, made me feel like I was right at home and had nothing to worry about and he was right!! He is very easy going which helps you to relax and very thorough in his procedures, which makes you feel like you're in trusted hands! His work is impeccable and he lets you know everything that is required so you never get the feeling of someone trying to up charge you and perform unnecessary procedures. Their office is in a cute little area right in the village and they are ALWAYS on time! So don't be late! Wait time is almost nonexistent, which is another rarity for any dr's office for that matter. They only accept PPO's, but because Marina is such a dream to work with, she is more than happy to talk payment with you, help you with any paperwork needed and let you know exactly what you have to do financially or through your insurance to get your butt in there! Before, I used to be that person that would wait months to see the dentist and suffer in agony, simply because of my fears and now, (not exaggerating) if something is up with my teeth, I am literally seen the very next day! The fear is gone! I have seen the light of day! And it's name is Dr. Bodhaine and his amazing team! *My husband and son are now patients and soon my mom will be too! read more

I am beyond GRATEFUL and IMPRESSED with the caring, professional service provided by Dr. Bodhaine and his office staff today (8/21/20). I had been suffering from an INTENSE toothache that I knew was all bad! It was so bad, that Tylenol was not even working anymore! On Thursday (8/20/20) night, I knew I had to call someone for help. I hadn't been to the dentist in years, so I was not even an established patient anywhere. So, by the grace of GOD, I read Dr. Bohaine's reviews on YELP on Thursday night and some divine intervention led me to call his office Friday morning (8/21/20). I saw that they opened at 7 a.m., so I called shortly after that. A beautiful angel on the other line (Marina-the office manager) answered. I explained my situation, and just like that, she said the soonest they could get me in was at 8 a.m. THE SAME DAY! I was like WOW! That is awesome! So, I sped to the office as fast as I could. I filled out the paperwork (very minimal) outside while I waited (the office is extremely COVID-19 compliant). I was immediately escorted to a room, where I had a quick x-ray and sure enough, my tooth was a MESS and needed to be extracted. Next thing you know, Dr. Bodhaine is greeting me with kindness and compassion. Disclaimer: I USED TO HATE DENTISTS (not personally, just the thought!), but Dr. Bodhaine has changed all of that. In the blink of an eye, I was being prepped for the extraction. Dr. Bodhaine was gentle and personable throughout the entire visit. I've never felt so comfortable in a dentist's chair in my life! I have really BAD teeth overall, but he said there is always hope in getting them fixed. Anyway, the evil tooth was removed and I was DONE! All of the staff were AMAZING! They explained everything to me step by step and in language I could understand. They even set me up for my next appointment in about a week (and oddly enough, I can't wait to go back!). I was there at 8 a.m. and left about 9 a.m. ONE HOUR AND MY PROBLEM WAS SOLVED! I can't thank Dr. Bodhaine enough! I can't thank Marina enough. I can't thank the staff enough. It sounds corny, but I literally cried in gratitude when I was leaving because I was so overwhelmed by the kindness and compassion of this office. If you decide to go somewhere else for your dental work, you are DEFINITELY 100% missing out on the best dental experience you would have EVER had! I will NEVER go anywhere else for my dental work!
