Surprisingly well lit, lots of comics and other pop culture things. I was really impressed at the variety and selection of non comic merchandise. My brother ended up with comics of course, but I got some South Park stuff. Very cool! read more

I love this place! I could be lost in here for hours. I went for the first time over the weekend and it is by far one of the most organized comic book stores I have been too. They seems stocked and current in a lot of different series. They also carry Pop Vinyl figures and other cool merchandise. I will def. be visiting this store again and again for all my comic book needs! read more

It's hard to find this location & it felt cramped inside. Other than that, there's soooooo many comic books & graphic novels to choose from. I was a bit skeptical to come here in the first place but once I stepped foot inside, I stayed there for about an hour just reading through comic books & checking out the newest editions until they were ready to close. read more

I love comic books, this was one of my first stores I visited when I first moved to Vegas, it has a lot of comics and the new location (next to the gym) is very convenient ! I'm sorry if I'm a little rude here but, the only time when I go there is when I go to the gym AND the tall big guy is there, he's very professional, very knowledgeable and very friendly, the other dude there, older, long Grey hair is kinda rude, I've been there when he was there, he doesn't even care to greet me when I open the door BUT he keeps 'an eye on me', made me feel very uncomfortable, I think he thought I was there to steal or something.... sad. I like the store a lot and I'd go there more often, since is closest to my place but most of the times I travel to a different store, I work as a manager in retail and I know how important customer service is, if it wasn't for the above mention I'd be there more often, nonetheless, love the store and their selection ! read more

Probably my favorite spot in Las Vegas to pick up comics, new and old. The place has been around a while and the experience shows. Large and constantly update inventory of more then just comics (they also have an excellent selection of toys). Also, important to me is a helpful, but not pushy staff. The owners/employees have all the right answers at the right time but don't stalk you around the store, which is nice. Definitely worth a trip in, the only downside is it shares a parking lot with the exceptionally busy gym and grocery store which makes for a frustrating experience, but hardly a deterrent. read more

Seriously it's mind-blowing how overpriced this place is. For example, every single issue of Amazing Spider-Man #300-400 is priced at $10 or more. We're talking common issues that would be in competitors' bargain bins for $1 or less. And price guide value is $3. How do they arrive at $10?? read more

Most regretted $20 spent! I will admit, I don't know much about comics, or superheroes etc.. but the husband and I wanted to check this place out because he enjoys the casual Batman movie and I'm into Funko collectibles. Well anyway, we checked it out, was truly impressed upon entering with the merchandise, layout and decor of the store. Mid 20 ish female (with long black and turquoise colored haired) associate behind the counter was cordial and greeted us and answered our inquiries politely. Male 40 - 50 ish ( blondish though graying hair and wearing glasses) however was not the most customer service oriented individual. He answered questions with sarcasm and a better than thou attitude. And even made us feel like he didn't really care if we spent or not. I really shouldn't have purchased it with his attitude but my pride unfortunately took over and I wanted to prove we had money to pay for it, being he made us feel like we were gonna steal his crap. Ok all in all... never going back, I live near this store but we'd rather drive all the way to Henderson to Maxim Comics cause I'd rather be in a store where you're treated like a decent human being and not an annoyance who just walked into your business to ruin your day and hand you money... Cosmic Comics is my new favorite comic book store. It beats anything in L.A. While not the biggest, it has a terrific layout, and a great inventory of comics, the best I've seen. They've got a section of hard and soft cover books devoted to artists, and subject matter. They've got a section of models and cards and t-shirts. They've got it all, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. What more could you want? read more

I've been a collector for a while now (... Okay, over 28 years , jeesh) and am fairly particular about where I buy from. Are they too commercialized? Too modern era? Too pop based? Too cramped? I usually scout a store once or even twice to get a vibe of their employees, sales and stock before deciding. Cosmic Comics passed the test. They carry a good mix of pop items, toys, graphic novels, new issues and more importantly to me, back issues. I consider myself a Silver & Bronze type as compared to Copper and Modern collector and Cosmic often fits the niche. I've slowed my frequenting of their establishment as they've been willing to 'deal' less and less (example: you're looking to buy $200 to $300 worth of back issues or $500 worth of statues but a 10% discount is like a foreign language). For me, that's a drawback, especially since comic grading is an inexact science and prices vary, sometimes greatly (even more so if you're ready to chance the "risque" market of on-line comic shopping). Overall though, a pleasant place to visit and shop. read more

I've been shopping here for a few years now. I love comics, but I'm not someone who buys them every week. But everyone here treats me like I am. The staff is great at remembering the type of things you like. And Brian is the best at making recommendations. If you want to try some new titles, be sure to ask for him. He's generous with his time and knowledge. They also have a big supply of $1 preview books so you can try new things without committing to a big price tag right away. One of the long standing comic book shops in the Vegas valley. Cosmic is well stocked with plenty of comic books and comic book related items. Collectibles are plentiful. From action figures to statues to Funko pops. The store is well lit and smells great all the time. Two huge couches sit just behind the register, although I've never taken the time to sit and relax, they are very inviting. Plenty of comic books line the side and back walls, with a great variety of blank sketch covers lining the upper west side wall. This may not seem like a big deal, but when you have the opportunity to get a a drawing done from an artist you like, trust me it's nice to have Cosmic give you so many options of blank sketch covers. They always have plenty of variant covers for new comic book Wednesday's. Right smack in the middle back part of the store is a big collection of back issues. Highly recommend you stop by and check them out. read more

Place is unethical. I called and asked if they had the 1st issue of Rick and Morty, the guy had me on hold for about a minute, and then tells me that he indeed had some. I asked him if he should hold one or if there were plenty, and he told me that it should be fine. When I get there 15 minutes later he tells me that a group of guys came in and bought a whole set and that he thought that was who called. Yeah right. Sounds like a way to get people in the door and then get them to open up a pull box which has a 4 issue limit and requires an ID or and credit or debit card on file, but you be the judge. read more

I can't being to tell you how friendly this place was. I went to 3 comic shops in the las vegas area and no one could or wanted to help me. When I got to Cosmic to research my old comics they spent about a 1/2 hour with me giving me excellant advise on what I should do if I want sell and how to research further. I am a very big silverage comic fan and just to tell you I loved this place. it had silverage comics galore. It also had the comics for very reasonable prices. The store is very clean and organized. The staff treat you very kindly.the staff also know their stuff and are always willing to help anyone. I was on a vacation at Las Vegas and on the way I found this place and thought I should vist the place. It also has some of the comics that are being printed now days and also have the good and interesting ones too. They also have varaity of toys and action figures. Another big thing about their store is that the store has tons of graphic novels. Although the store does not have a lot of present day comics,they have a wide selection of hard to find and good comics. Best comic store in Vegas. Please Give this place a try. read more
