UPDATE: I did not discredit this business nor did I ask for a response from the business nor did I speak in a derogatory or defaming manner. The "business manager" found my post funny and did not comment to provide an explanation, which would have sufficed because otherwise why acknowledge - take notes and improve. This is a representation of a lack of class, professionalism, and lack of customer service that we received today. I don't say this often, but walking into a nail salon with all white customers, his behavior equates to a lack of regard for black customers = racism. This is coming from a New Yorker who is not South raised. Since he thought I was funny, I said it and I stand by it. Now, I have said my peace and I will proceed to post about it in other avenues and laugh my way through with him. We were interested in trying this new place and stopped by to get two manicures on a Saturday at 4:30. We reviewed the website and there was no distinction of reservations being strongly encouraged so we walked in due to the reviews we read about prompt service. However, when we arrived we were told that due to us not having an appointment we would have to wait an hour and that was it. It was not a busy time and I understand the preference for appointments. My issue is with the lack of information on their website regarding their preference. We called another place that was just as great (compared to reviews and ratings) and they said for us to come over right away. We left very satisfied and tipped $40. read more

Did a nice job, but told me my total was 30 dollars for a fill with two repairs and 10 for a toe repair, which is a total of 40 dollars. When I got to the counter it was a total of 60 bucks and the technical just wanted to go back and forth with me. I'm not the confrontational type of person, I just wanted to know what I'm being charge for and she was screaming at me. Was good customer service until the end. Seems like they are money hungry. Response to Kendell's comment: I was charge 60 dollars, my bank statement states 60 dollars. I DID NOT have a totally of the 6 repairs. Let's get more specific. My index and middle finger nail was removed, which equals 2, correct? While removing those two nails, she told me it was a 3 dollar charge per nail, which 3x2 equals 6, correct? The acrylic on my right foot big toe was literally lifting off and was holding on from the corner of nails. I could have told off myself in a millisecond. Instead, the nail technician did it and she said absolutely NOTHING about charging me for that for that. I received a fill which I was told was 20 and a color change where I never knew the price until I got to the register, which came to be 10 dollars. The only time she, the nails technician said something to me was when I she mentioned the removals were 3 dollars nail which is 6 dollars total. & When she was complaining about how the other salon I went two did a horrible job shaping and the overall result of my nails after having them for two weeks. We had very little conversation. I have never been to a nail salon where the technician doesn't start up a conversation. 95 percent of the service was in silence. She didn't even offer me a drink like the other technicians did with their clients at the start of their arrival. read more

Not a fan. I like the free drink but I will not be back. For a gel manicure it was $30, which is about the price at most places, but the quality was not there. The polish was uneven and splotchy. Up close, it did not look good. It also ended up chipping while I was on my overseas trip, which was a bummer. At other places, when I get a manicure, they massage my hands and arms. Wow! I wanted to have my nails done to support my favorite bands new albums and wanted three colors done on my nails. I know this can be very annoying, but after spending an hour looking for a nail spa I decided on Cosmo. I walked in about 30 minutes after they opened and was seated within 5 minutes without an appointment. The girl who did my nails was Tammy and she was absolutely amazing! I told her I wanted to do three colors and she didn't seemed annoyed, which I was afraid of, she happily got the colors I wanted and got to work. I decided on a dip nail to make them last longer and they look amazing! Tammy was very sweet and took her time doing my nails. I don't get them done very often, but she was very thorough with making sure everything was sanitary and was detailed when doing my nails. They also did not mind me bringing in my own drink, another worry as they do have an entire bar dedicated to drinks. Overall, super happy with the way my nails turned out! I typically ONLY use opi gel so like my nail salons to have a huge variety and Cosmo does! I had my first visit yesterday and absolutely loved it! Annie was not only quick but did an impeccable job. I've been here a few times now and I love this salon so much! I usually get the dip gel manicure (they use Kiara Sky colors) and love the results. The pedicure was also great, I had the cheapest/fastest one they offer. My dip gel one color manicure and regular pedicure was $85.00. But today I had the dip gel ombré French manicure and while I absolutely love it and am blown away by how great it looks.....it was $65.00. JUST for the manicure. That's a little too steep for something I'll have to have filled every 3-4 weeks, especially considering the normal dip full set is $40. But again, love this place! It's definitely not cheap here, but I really think you get what you pay for because I just got the Bellini (the basic pedi)and was in there for an hour +, with all the works plus leg massages and refills on drinks if I wanted. Oh also I had a bandaid (just a small cut) on my leg and Phoebe was careful not to get that wet and avoid that area. I hope it didn't gross her out lol. Great new place to get my nails done. It's a little out of the way of my house but the experience is worth it for great service and beautiful nails. When you first enter, you will definitely first notice the massive bar. It is what I would expect in an actual bar but is great to see I. My nail salon! They had so many options from the basic wine to mimosas and margaritas. I even heard someone order a vodka cranberry! My mimosa was extremely yummy and a fun addition to the experience. They also have a ton of large tvs in the salon normally fixed to HGTV. The nail polish selection for gel, dip, and regular polish is amazing. They have every color you could imagine in high quality OPI. It was almost overwhelming! They got to work very fast even though it was busy and they only have about 6 or so manicure stations. They have so many pedicure chairs though! She did my nails fast with little conversation which I don't mind at all. She did a great job and made my nails look great after a long time of no attention! I was mid-errands, waiting for hubby to go to lunch, so I was yelping for a manicure spot nearby. Found this gem and LOVED it! They've been open about a month and the place is gorgeous and immaculate. I walked in, needing a shellac manicure, nothing fancy and was greeted immediately. They have a full bar, including margaritas (fancy glass, with salt), mixed drinks (I saw Hennessy on the shelf if that tells you anything) and sodas and water. I opted for a soda, but will definitely take hubby and Uber back for a mani/pedi happy hour. The manicure was perfect - she paid lots of attention to my horrible cuticles and even added an additional coat of the color because we both felt it looked more pink and it was supposed to be red. The last coat made it red red and boy, is it shiny! Courteous and professional staff, friendly but not intrusive and all around a good deal. I was in and out in about 45 minutes, $30 plus gratuity and I left one happy girl! Since it's in a busy shopping center in South Arlington, next to Sprouts, I imagine they will get very busy on the weekends, so I'd recommend making an appointment! I will be back! read more

This place is a joke. The staff is unprofessional and are extremely rude. When I looked on the website there were no indication that you would need a appointment because it literally says "WALK IN's WELCOME", but when we arrived we walked in and no one was at the front, there was a man standing in the back of the salon just watching us, then 10 mins later another man walks out of the back (still chewing food and came up with a attitude like we ruined his day) and asked "do y'all have a appointment?!!" We replied no because we didn't know we needed one...he then said "well we don't have anything until 6 so y'all have to come back..." then turns around and just walks away without saying another word. The three cockroaches on the inside by the nail colors should have been a sign we should have left right then and there. Will not return to this roach infested location. My new favorite spot! Everything here was incredibly chic and clean. All utensils were sanitized and came in their own fresh packaging. I recommend you GO NOW, because they're doing a grand opening 20% discount. These guys just opened the beginning of January so I'm not sure how much longer they'll have this special. I only wanted a mani, so it came out to just $20. Are you kidding me!?!?? I also had a complimentary mimosa (2 drink limit), which was made perfectly. They also offer wine, beer, and margaritas. I'm sure if you asked, they can try to whip you something else. I was really excited they carry those mood changing polishes. My inner 90s kid was so excited!! I also thought it was cute that their menu of services came in the form of a drink menu. This is a great place for a girls' day, or even bringing your boyfriend. They have seating at the bar, so you can both get pedicures here and then guys can hang out at the bar watching tv while you get your polish on. Win, win!! Super rude service One of the girls that worked there was near by & was I grabbing a color and the girl was like are you doing gel and I said no regular color and she gave me an ugly face & she snatched the color I had & she was like you need to get a regular color then and then I was like which ones are regular color & then she acted like she didn't even know & I was like they all say gel & then she pointed at one & I was like well do you have one that looks like that one and she just grabbed a random one & I was like yeah I don't like it & then she just walked away .... later after I picked a different color I waited a good 10 min then was asked to sit in one of the chairs & I waited there for about 10 minutes no water in the chair for your feet or anything. I then got up and left. I was there for a total of 30 minutes with no service & a smart mouth. read more
