I suddenly paid attention to the pumice bar they use to scrub my heel, it looked worn. Reused? yes. Yuck!

Came in on my lunch time break 2/11/25. They leave a gap between the nail polish and cuticles. It ends up looking like the nails are two weeks old once they finish. I'm not sure how they do dip nails but they couldn't do my gel nails. Kept making up excuses that it's because I picked out a nude color which is #318. It's too light to be applied evenly and clean. My nails looked as if I had bad stick on nails. If you cannot apply nail polish evenly I'm not sure what to say. They get mad and frustrated and the lady that oversees the place came so close to me when she was talking I could smell her tobacco breath. They start making you uncomfortable by talking about you in Vietnamese for a good 10 minutes and make it pretty obvious, lol. So unprofessional. They did not leave a good impression. Where do I start... Misty is aggressive. Pulls you hard the entire time she's working on your hands. Over files your nails. My nails aren't even this ugly shape she gave me. The skin around my nail beds are bleeding because she is so rough. Absolutely the most sloppy job I've ever received. Not to mention she got up several times to talk, walk around, and do waxes, so it took over an hour and a half for this terrible dip job. I will NOT be coming back. read more

Prompt and efficient service. I have gone twice with no appointment & been helped immediately. They look unassuming from the street, but inside is an impressive space. I counted ten manicure stations and eighteen pedi stations. Calming music, free beverages, and a wonderful Tuscan decor welcome you in. They seem to have a good sized staff to keep the business flowing...on two visits I have not seen a patron have to wait more than a couple of minutes. I got the dipped nails. Black ombré into natural pink into a medium length stiletto shape. I've had this done at other places and they'd stay 2 weeks and I'd go get them filled... these didn't even make it two days before 2 had broken due to a weak apex. I went back and she fixed those two, but I was still left with the previous weak ones. So two days later, 2 more hade broken. I cut them down and now they look terrible. It's been like a week and a half since the original service. Sad I worked like a half a shift for those (EXPENSIVE!) nails and they just couldn't hack it. After today, I can say I will never be back at the salon again. It started off the person doing my nails was upset because I changed my mind about doing dip before she even started to do my nails and then as she was doing my nails she had a mishap which was fine, but then proceeded to leave a small thin line of red paint on my nails instead of cleaning it up before she, put the final code on then when I left, I was looking at my nails and one was so uneven I had to go back and I asked them to fix it, but when I walked in Misty, the owner was upset that I asked for it to be fixed she said what do you want me to do, and then proceeded to file the nail down but like sometimes and told me next time I need to tell her more square not curved square but it wasn't even curved. It was just completely uneven, then proceeded to file all the nails on my left hand, which was the nail it was messed up, but then left the ones on my right hand alone will not be back here rude customer service. I also tipped very well u just wanted my one nail fixed this was the worst experience ever. read more

This was my first time at this salon and it will definitely be my last. I don't know how this place has some decent reviews but (The picture at the bottom was when I finally got the blood to dry) My nail tech was very sweet ( I didn't get her name) but her cuticle cutting skills were so bad as pictured my thumb and index finger were bleeding so bad that my tech had to get the owner to help, I did point out to my nail tech that my fingers were feeling uncomfortable but did not want to be rude. I'm a very patient person and don't get upset easy. My fingers were bleeding due to over buffing with the machine, the buffing block and then the cuticle cutters. Once she saw there was more skin she used the cutter again and then buffed it out again. This is when my fingers started bleeding more.... the owner and my tech tried to make me stay, offering nail polish. I said no bc my fingers were in pain and even with the blue liquid they put on my bleeding fingers could not stop it, so there is no point of putting nail polish on bloody fingers and on top of that I pointed to her fingers (w/o gloves) had blood as well. No point in me staying, I just let them know it was okay and I understand mistakes happen and left. Moral of the story if they cannot cut your cuticles right run! And sidenote please believe the BAD reviews they are not exaggerating one bit. read more

The 1st experience by David was amazing. The 2nd experience by the women (I'm guessing owner or manager) with shirt bob was horrible. My nails were extremely foggy (I got the same set the 2nd time that I did the 1st time). I broke 1 nail 2 days later went back to fix and mentioned to her that they were really foggy, she acknowledged this, fixed my broken nail(unfortunately making it slightly pink instead of clear) and buffed out the others and attempted to take away the fogginess but made them even more foggy. (I paid $50 for the 1st set) I wanted them removed and they said okay and suggested to have David just do the set, so he did and they were perfect like the first time. (I was charged another $50) In my car, in tears, I started comparing the before and after photos of the 2 sets causing me to go back in and ask for a refund for the 1st set, the women would only give me half back and refused to look at the comparison photo or my nails to see the difference, she seemed to not care about me as a customer or to learn from her mistakes so that she doesn't make the same mistakes again. Sometimes less is more but I don't think she understands this unfortunately, if it wasn't for David and her kind front desk guy I would have lost it. read more

She kindly convinced me to get the shellac nails and I did it because I never get fake nails. In my line of work, I can't afford breaking nails. Anyway, lovely Kimberly was brand new and helped me pick out my color! She nailed it! Lol! No pun intended. Now I'm sitting here getting a peppermint Pedicure while sipping on a glass of red wine, receiving an amazing chair massage and getting my toes done! Heaven sits here! I don't have time to get pedicures very often, so when I do it's a real treat. I've been to several places in southwest Arlington and Legacy has some of the best prices around. The decor is nice and the have massaging chairs and televisions to watch. They also give you a beverage to drink while you're there. Most of my pedicures have been great here. There is one older lady that is pretty rough, but I can't remember her name. I have received a manicure once and it was nice, although not something that I personally will get again. Several of my friends have their nails filled there. There is never a wait and plenty of chairs so if you go with a friend or two you can all get your pedis at the same time. The artwork I get on my toes is usually top notch! I never feel like they are rushing to get me out while I'm there. Funny thing last time I was there a worker was napping in one of the massage chairs...kind of strange! Overall I recommend Legacy to friends. read more

First time I had misty (salon owner) and I got a French dip powder set.. they looked HORRIBLE and they were for vacation. Second time was awesome, got a great ombré set from Henry, one of my favorite sets. Then this LAST TIME ILL EVER GO THERE I had misty again and needed a fresh set for my NEW JOB . She files your nails till you bleed, only 3 of my nails came out DECENT and I had bumps all over my nails when I was finished. I specifically told her to NOT thin my eyebrows TWICE because my brows were thick which took YEARS to grow and she basically took my eyebrows completely off my face. This place was ok... nothing too great. I got a gel manicure. The nail tech that worked on me scratched my skin more than one time, which was painful and annoying. He was really rough, which was not comfortable at all. This is the 1st nail place I've gone to where they did no sort of hand massage or anything after finishing the manicure/painting. For $30, you figured they would offer a little more than any other shop... I think they're over-priced for what they offer and where they're located.
