We're doing a bathroom remodel and came in to look at floor tiles. We spent 20 minutes browsing and the guy running the store was helping someone else so we left to get lunch next door. We came back after lunch and again he was busy with someone else. No problem, we browsed some more. However, after another 20+ minutes of browsing, he never said a word to us and avoided eye contact. It was weird. It's a small store so it's not like he didn't notice us the first time, or that we came back a second time! A simple "I'll be with you soon" would have sufficed. Sold me flooring. It all cracked. Every single plank cracked within a month. It was Azur reserve Monaco brand HF design and BR funsten. They didn't help or refund. Don't ever buy this wood or support HF or BR Funsten. Images of cracked wood here. Cosmos came thru clutch for me when I was in a bind yesterday. I needed 50 sq ft of tile in a pinch, and they came through. What a great team, not to mention the price was lower than I paid to the tile co in Anaheim the first round. Stay away!!! Far, far away!!! I went into see these people because I saw they had an extremely high yelp review. What became apparent quickly is that they have been paying yelp the monthly fee to remove all bad reviews. There is NO WAY this company has a yelp review higher than a 2 at best. My experience... I have been in to their store 3 times now. Every time they could not find my info in their system and every time they seemed more confused than before. To say they are disorganized would be a major understatement. To add insult to injury the people they send to take measurements have now stood me up 3 times. - The first time they never even called. - The second time he left a message said he might not possibly make it, but this was after calling 15 minutes late. When I called back... He said his bosses said they sent him out of town to pick something else up and not to worry about me. So I asked him how could you "possibly make it" if you are in fact out of town? Hmmmm. Sounds pretty obvious to me - The third time he actually was suppose to be at my place by 5p. I called at 6:30p when he said he was sorry he would not be able to make it. I asked why he could not reach out and why ,I the client, had to call him... His response... "Whatever" and then he hung up. The crazy part is that I have a pretty large job to do, approximately 30-40k. So if they are going to treat me like this don't even think of going there for less. Again... Stay far far far far away from these people. They make it too hard to spend money. When you are a customer you should be treated as if your project and your time matters. These people don't have the first inkling on how to treat a customer or a human being the right way. Again stay far far far away. read more

Great selection, attentive personnel, very professional through the estimate process. My bamboo floors look beautiful and the workmen were fantastic. I had a less-than ideal experience, however, when it comes to a small patch of entryway flooring where I had tiles installed. The person who installed the tiles does not have the necessary level of expertise or professionalism. He did a subpar job (uneven tiling), knew he did a subpar job and didn't have the pride in his work or respect for the customer (and maybe even the skills) to correct it. I initially let it go, but it bothered me and more than one visitor to my home noticed it, so I called Cosmos six months later to have it fixed. The tile is now "less bad" than it was originally, but it is still uneven. The installer (same guy) realized this when he was done and shrugged at the remaining uneven piece, saying something to the effect of "You know what to do if it continues to bother you...just call us back." Cosmos, please stop cutting corners by having an office person do installation jobs...no matter how small. It degrades your brand and reputation. And potential customers...when it comes to tiles, you might want to look into finding your own installer. _____ Update: I was immediately contacted by the owner of the business after he read my review. He was concerned about my experience and satisfaction, and within days had arranged to have the tiling replaced (at my convenience) by a very capable professional. The final job is impeccable....it's like night and day the way it looked before. Thank you Abdi and thank you Abel for your hard work and craftsmanship. read more

I was greeted immediately and the staff was very helpful. I told them my budget and they helped me find tiles that were in my budget. I went to 7 different tile stores in the area and found them to be the cheapest and have the largest variety of wood-like tiles. When I first walked in a few years ago, I loved their product, but have to admit, I was way too suspicious of them coz they were just so polite, patient and never stopped smiling. I just couldn't trust they were actually genuine with their kindness and attention. To one and all, THESE GUYS ARE THE REAL DEAL. They will climb mountains to help make your vision come true. They have always come through for me as a (demanding) client. This place has a great selection and even better customer service! We purchased some shower tile here a couple weeks ago, and this weekend we needed a couple more pieces. When we drove up to Cosmos they were closed for fumigation! We emailed them and they answered us right away, met us in back of the store within the hour, and got the tile we needed (since it was stored in the back lot, which wasn't being fumigated). My wife is an architect and I am a research scientist, so you can imagine how insanely picky and meticulous we were when it came time to redo the floors in our home. We had gone to several flooring places, but found that the selection and service at Cosmos was second to none. We came to them with the material already picked out: Teragren strand woven bamboo and cork. Abdi and company were extremely helpful and friendly in working with us to get what we wanted and the final quote was very competitive even when compared to online sites. I had corresponded with Abdi several times by phone and email and he was always very responsive. We actually ended up getting the cork somewhere else because we found a style and price that met our budget elsewhere, but what I liked was that he wasn't pushy about trying to sell us something he had in stock. We also ended up using Cosmos as a subcontractor to install the bamboo and floating cork, and had a good experience as well. It should be noted that we had the subfloors installed by our general contractor, so what we paid Cosmos for was strictly labor beyond the material. This too, was fair and competitively priced. My wife and I are very happy with the outcome. I would highly recommend Cosmos for their selection, prices, and especially service. Abdi and Soraya (I think that's her name) are so easy to work with. If you're thinking about doing your floors, you definitely need to stop by their store and actually talk to them (be engaged!). We are very diligent about checking prices and these guys are super competitive, friendly, honest, and very patient. We went to them for everything and changed our minds a few times. They never gave us a hard time or charged anything for returns/exchanges. A lot of bigger places are difficult to work with. Sometimes you just want a quote and they won't even talk to you unless you are a designer or contractor. Here, you can walk right in and get a quote that is competitive with designer rates.
