Well back in college I visited a friend in Fort Collins once for a long weekend. Yes, you know what i'm going to say. We ate some pizza from this cosmo and I guess the spicy ranch stuck with me. Thousands of years later my partner and I are checking out Boulder and we needed a lunchdinner. We were famished and happy. After accidentally ending up in the college restaurant area of this town surrounded by scary loud boys i ditched all my hopes and dreams of getting some sort of veggie tales dish and said let's just get a pizza and get out of this loud boy area. That's exactly what we did. At first I couldn't remember what this place is called ... Carlos pizza... Colins pizza... capricorn pizza I don't know... spicy ranch ...COSMOS PIZZA ! That's what it is. Well five stars because it's pretty good and I added a bunch of stuff and swapped and the whole nine yards on my pozza and they got it all right. Also. They are not wimps on the sauce. You get a real serving of the ranch. Thank you cosmo and thank you to the cosmos for this linner. This restaurant DOES NOT serve gluten-free pizza, contrary to what they claim on their menu. They serve "gluten lite" pizza, aka pizza that will make you very sick if you have Celiac disease or gluten intolerance. I reallllllly wish restaurants would stop lying about allergens in their food. This is the equivalent of a bakery saying they have "peanut-free" cookies and then rolling all the peanut-free cookies in peanut flour before serving them to unsuspecting allergic customers. Fortunately, or unfortunately?, gluten doesn't instantly kill you if you eat some. It kills you very slowly, over decades, through malnutrition, chronic diarrhea, osteoporosis, arthritis, non-Hodgkins lymphoma, and all the other fun stuff that's caused by gluten when you have Celiac disease. Came here after climbing at the nearby Movement Gym - one Mediterranean pizza slice w/ the SPICY RANCH (of course) really hit the spot. Don't even bother thinking you will be able to share one spicy ranch - just get one per person. We were excited for the novelty of such a large pizza, but alas... our hopes were dashed when we got home and found short, dark, curly hairs baked into the cheese. We called to get a refund, and the person on the phone was incredibly unapologetic and rude. When we returned to get our refund, we noticed the man making the pizzas had a beard and wasn't wearing a hairnet on his beard. I am from Boulder, yes actually born here. I have tried every pizza place in town, and cosmos is better than most. I have rarely had delivery, and the negative reviews seem to mostly be issues with delivery or people butt hurt about the covid restrictions. Audrey Janes has fancier toppings, and this is the one area that cosmos could improve. I would love to see roasted red peppers, grilled onioins, burrata mozzerella or some more interesting veggies added to the menu options. However cosmos crust is so much better ! And you can buy a pizza for a reasonable price where as Audrey's is considerably more expensive. The guys are always friendly here, and the few times they messed up an order the immediately offered to remake it or comp us for a future pie. Every time I have a friend in town I always order a pizza from Cosmos and Every single person has said it was one of the best pizzas they have ever had, including my east coast friends. read more

Caution: no idea how they calculate current wait times (before you place an order). Initially a 25 minute wait for pick-up (of 1 Calzone) then became 1+ hours after placing the order. Then once I arrived there at the 1+ hour mark was greeted with "wait in your car until we call you" sign (without ever mentioning they'd call me during the initial purchase before wasting my time sitting in the parking lot). I liked the taste of their pizza but after four times of their sending me delivery pizza with the toppings all in the middle, 3.5" from the edge, I switched to Pizza Colore, also in Boulder, similar pricing, better sauce, and toppings all over the pizza. Life is too short to stuff mediocre tasteless pizza in your body and feel it sit there for a few hours while your body tries to figure out what to do with it. I think Cosmos is cheap, and that might be all it has going for it. For slices check out Brooklyn. For crummy to go pizza I think Blackjack is better.
