If you get here right when they open, it's an easy breeze to run through the aisles and grab your needed items. All the main staples are stocked here and everything is usually in place and full (I can't vouch for that if you arrive late afternoon/evening though). This Costco is near my house but I prefer to go to the one in Wayne which is bigger and has much more parking. Getting in and out of the Clifton lot is awful, one lane going in and one out that you have to share with the gas station. People block the entrance to the gas pumps which creates gridlock. People also use that narrow road to get to the mall next door which is on Rte. 3 so it's double the traffic. Truly a nightmare. There is not enough parking, especially handicap spaces which we need. The gym next door closed so Costco should buy it to add more parking and reconfigure the entrance/exit. Forget going here on weekends, and holidays are even worse. Many times we could not find a parking spot so left.....shopping shouldn't be this frustrating. If you can go when they first open in the morning great, but most can't do that. read more

I love Costco and come here often for things like greek yogurt, salad, salsa, and detergent. This store is always busy but if you go at night on a weekday it's not too bad. I really like their fresh flowers too. They last longer for about half the price. Returns are simple and easy even without a receipt. No questions asked either. My only negative is that the parking lot can be a nightmare. It's usually busy but if you can get in early your usually out quick. Place has everything you need as well as a decent liquor store that you don't need a membership for. The staff is friendly and the place is kept clean. I always go wanting buy only a couple of things and walk out with more. Costco Coupons are loaded into your card so no need to cut them out. They have a food court but the line is usually long and hard to navigate because it close to registers. Gas prices are usually cheaper here than most places so it's good place to fill up. I recommend brining an iPod listening to music and it will help make your trip feel a lot faster. read more

I scored big by buying drumsticks for .89c a lb, it came out to $7.70. Also it's .99c per lb for the wingettes. Another steal at $18.80. There's 16 wings per package. read more

Aside from being slightly out of the way, and definitely too crowded of a parking lot (seriously, they should put some effort into designing better entry/exits - every one I've gone to has one for cars. Just one. Really?). The store here is bigger than any in the local NYC area, insofar as I can tell. The organization still suffers - they'd do well with some maps, but they have samples galore, and a lot of people walking around back and forth. A little troublesome how the membership counter is on the way out rather than on the way in - how else do I get my coupons? Fish here is a decent selection, though sliced deli meat has had better days - couldn't find good roast beef or honey ham, so settled on turkey (which they had a lot of). The baby spinach disappointed a bit - lots of yellow leaves, as were the less-than-ripe tomatoes on the vine, but overall the opportunity to pick up a rotisserie chicken for only $4 was pretty worth the trip out. Some decent samples, too. They also sell gas here - at about 7¢ cheaper a gallon than the next place. Lines are serious business here. Someone, please, teach them queuing rules. read more

This is the costco store near to us where me and my husband come for shopping. It has variety of things from clothes to home appliances to fruits to vegetables and everything you can think of. And since it is whole sale store so nothing comes in just one piece. I am really fond of Lara Almond and cashew butter with chocolate & coconut which the store does not have stock now. Wanting it badly. We generally shop for Turkey Burger Patties, Turkey Breast Slices, Egg whites which comes lot cheaper than regular grocery store. They have many people serving some of new products for tasting to the public. So it is like taste it, if you like it then buy it. They have a small cafe as well which have delicious items like hot dog, Italian sausage sandwich, pizza, chicken bake, turkey sandwich. read more

Big fan of Costco-super cheap wholesale stuff. You can find giant boxes of brownie mixes, cereal, soda, milk, fruits, meat, you name it. You can also get really cheap gas here with your card. Has a pharmacy, restrooms, and cheap food court (pizza, soda, hot dogs, ice cream, etc.) Costco always offers no hassle returns-you can return for full refund with receipt or store credit, no questions asked, up to 6 months I believe. This place is fantastic! Of course, since this place is so great, it's always really packed, esp. on weekends and busy seasons. But just be patient and you will get great deals. Cash and debit only. No bags. Pick up a box on your way out to help you carry stuff. read more

I'm not sure why this location has low reviews. The parking lot and building is well maintained. The cashiers and staff are quick and helpful. During covid peaks it's understandable that this location had long lines but who didn't. Parking can be a bit tight here but never a long wait. read more

From electronics to food to gasoline to house decor to books and clothing...lots of things I want to buy. There is catering service and cake order. They also have an auto service shop and sell car tires. I come here at least once a month. We use their catering for parties and gathering hosted at my house. Their cakes are decent too. I stocked water and toiletries. These items are always needed in large volumes. My kids love their food samples and like all other men, my hubby checks out their electronics area. He finds good deals most times. We love Costco customer service policy. If u don't like even after you have open and tasted it, simply return for full refund! Every vendor should have this policy. I recommend coming here on weekdays. Weekends are hectic busy and cashier lines are so long. Parking lot can be crazy too so do yourself a favor and try to avoid weekends! read more

So just went to Costco, to get some stuff like I normally do with my husband. Waited on line for about 30-40 minutes extremely busy, so I expected it especially working in retail. Got to the register and cashier female had an attitude from the start of my transaction. My husband who is with me gives her the Costco card, now the Costco card is in my father in laws name who lives at home with me and my husband and could barely walk. So she proceeds to get a gentleman to see if we are on the card but it's just my father in laws name. So she starts to tell me in order to finish the order I would have to get a new membership for 100 dollars. So I went to customer service and I said to the lady if you look up the last 3 years I have renewed the membership for my father in law. I have paid for his membership with my credit card ending and I gave her the last 4 digits. I even said to her I just paid it again in November, check the dates and I can even show you the credit card I used. I said so looks like you just want me to sign up for a new membership in order to process my purchase. A total purchase of 300 dollars and I walked out and left it. I also had my father in law call and cancel his membership, since he doesn't use it anyway and I will no longer be going back to Costco. So for me they just wanted more money out of me. Horrible customer service all around. I'm a manager myself of a 13.5 million business, in Paramus and would never belittle my customers they way they just did. Trying to accuse me of fraud, if I was doing fraud I wouldn't be the one paying for the membership the last 3 years. read more

This place has terrible customer service when I signed up. I used a deal through Groupon to get my membership and they were really bitchy about it for some reason. Don't offer deals if you do not want people using them! It is also a total madhouse. I mean carts were backed up almost to the back of the store on a Sunday. You would practically have to be on welfare for the difference in price to make sense in comparison to just going to shoprite considering all the time you are losing going through the process of just buying your groceries. Anyways, I give this place the shit show prize for North Jersey grocery stores. BTW, Costco has a business model that actually strives to make your experience miserable. This place was pretty empty on a Wednesday night! It's further in miles from the one in Harlem, but it's faster to get to due to less traffic. And you can get gas here, unlike the other Costcos near the city. Free parking, I always love Costco, there's a liquor store next door. Decent Costco in a busy area. Place is good for buying large quantities, so for us (2 people) it's not ideal for buying food. Would give 4 stars, but the very poor liquor store brings down the rating. Wine selection is one of the worst that I have seen in any of the liquor stores next to Costcos. Good for me are none perishables like; Toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, coffee etc. Even though this time we got 4lbs for $5.99 and blackberries 2lbs for $3.99 both great deals. I had a 10:30 reservation for a tire rotation. After arriving on time, I was instructed by a worker that my car needed to be parked on the side or in the rear. It took nearly 10 minutes for a spot to open up and another 5 minutes to walk from the spot to the storefront. The worker told me I was now late for my appointment and I would have to wait "about 5 hours" for my rotation. The manager, Chris, was even less understanding and unprofessional. He acknowledged that the worker told me exactly where to park but told me essentially he was wrong and I could've parked anywhere. I won't be using Costco services any more at this location for anything tire related and do not recommend anyone else use it either. I also highly recommend avoiding this location as their management doesn't have the ability to manage a simple issue like this over a worker error. read more

This place is always slammed, but for all the people the self service lines actually go fast. Also, they have a super knowledgeable sales guy in the TV section. I mean this guys really knows it all. I completely understand and agree with opening early for seniors and those who are disabled but when the store is empty on a cold and wet Monday and not to make an exception to woman (pregnant I might add) and children who are freezing out side is just unacceptable. I shop at this store often. I am happy with the selections and the store is organized. This location is always very crowded. The workers there have always been helpful and courteous. The parking lot is usually very crowded. A lot of the shoppers there are pretty rude. But that is of no fault of the store. I was visiting New Jersey and immediately searched out a local Costco to pick up some carrot juice and was stoked to find a location close to where I was staying. The person who was driving me had never been to a Costco before so I promised to take them on a tour of Costco if they drove. We arrived in the parking lot and I have to say the planners of Costco have it laid out properly because these days you simply cannot tell the difference based on the layout inside or out. This Costco had a gas station, tire center & food court. We walked into the Costco itself and of course were asked to show a valid membership card. My friend was amazed at how big this location was, where I found it a tad smaller than my local South Bay, CA (Rosecrans Ave) Costco location. The layout inside however was spot on to every Costco I have been. I knew exactly where to go to find the products I was looking for. My friend even asked if I had been to this location before because I knew where everything was. After going on a tour of the Costco, selecting my products it was time to check out. Same ole same ole' show your card, different type of folks in line from California and having to show the receipt upon exiting. If and when I am in the area again I would definitely stop here again. read more

This is for the tires and installations. Okay, so this place is completely professional. Shanavya (?) took my order, explained everything in accessible language. Jeff did the same. I tried to give them a $20 tip, but they wouldn't take it. James - that's the dude I tried to tip. I really wished I remembered all the names of the people that helped me. Chris comes to my mind as well - he couldn't get them plastic bags open for my tires, til the others helped him out. Matt also helped me out. I got Michelin Tires on the cheap, with a warranty of 90,000 with free tire rotation for the rest of the tires life. Shanavya - probably the first woman car tech that I came in contact with (ever). Awesome. More awesome is how you just couldn't f*&ked with her knowledge on tires. I looked at my friend and said, I think I am going to be a tire tech seems like a good skill to have. This is the kind of place that makes you wish you worked here. The comradeship among the coworkers seemed like it flowed well and that they supported and helped each other to get YOU/ME out of there as fast they could. If you need tires changed, go here. They told me it would take 2.5 hours, they were finished in an hour and a half. My car rides smooth and I look forward to recommending people to come here and I look forward to coming back here. I learned that wheel alignment is not mileage sensitive, but time sensitive. As a woman, it's easy to feel condescended to and patronize at a car related event, that didn't happen here. This was a wonderful ride. Did I mention that I look forward to returning? (Of course, only if I have to -- I mean, I don't really want wheel problems). read more

OMG. Such a better experience than the BJs in Jersey City. I just moved from Astoria to Hoboken. I used to live just 5 blocks from the Costco in Astoria/LIC so when I moved to Hoboken, I thought I'd have to give up my Costco membership and go to BJs which seemed a lot more convenient in theory. However, I had a horrific experience at BJs (you can look up my review). I tried driving out to the Costco in Clifton, which really isn't that far. I guess I can't do my Costco trips where I just pick up milk anymore but I can't complain about a 15-20 min drive. My experience at Costco was a million times better than BJs. Literally. Costco is just so much more efficient at checking out hordes of weekend shoppers and I actually like the Kirkland brand. The crowds do seem to get crazy starting at around 10:15 am on a Saturday morning but either come here during the week or right when they open on Sat morning to avoid the crowds. They say they open at 9:30 but they must open a little earlier because I got to the Costco at 9:36 and already saw people leaving with their purchases. read more

The fact that this location has the gas station, liquor store, tires installation, and the store itself makes it awesome! You can get everything done in one location. The parking lot can be a nightmare, but that's not Costco's fault. They did their best to provide enough parking spaces for the customers. Before Hackensack moved their location and did not have a gas station, I would come here to fill up. Costco...selling everything you don't need in massive quantities! This Costco isn't bad...it has pretty much everything most if not all Costcos have such as a gas station, pharmacy, and so on and so forth. The bakery and meat departments have always been consistent for me... the butter croissants? bad for you? sure. But, each croissant in that giant 12 pack will make you forget you were ever on a diet, and the same goes for the ridiculously huge box of delicious chocolate cookies. Anyways... Costco sells a lot of great stuff, but it can be tough when you're only buying for yourself. I mean what the hell am I supposed to do with a super fun size box of zip lock bags holding four smaller boxes each with 40 or so bags? I have no idea, yet for some reason I thought I would use them over the course of the year. Well, I haven't and now they're just sitting there waiting to be used... anybody want some zip lock bags? Really though... the only reason why I come here is for their meat. Since turnover is pretty quick, you know they're constantly laying out the new n' fresh stuff. Far and away the busiest Costco I've ever seen. Parking is a slugfest. There are never enough open registers for checkout. The place is absolutely jam packed. The liquor store is a blessing and a curse. If you're going just for that, it's pretty convenient. If you're going to do a store run and a liquor run you have to check out at two separate locations. Not so convenient. They do have a gas station that is cheaper than other stations. However there is often a long wait. I think I'd rather pay an extra $1-2 when I fill up rather than waste hours of my life on this line. Even the roads in and out can be super congested. If it weren't for the insane crowds, this place has just as much if not more to offer than most other Costcos in the area. It's just too congested for me. read more
