Unfortunately, they are not reliable with their hours; the employees seem to open when they feel like it and not as stated on their signs. Sometimes, if you get lucky, their sign says closed, but they left the pumps on. When they're actually open and open on time, this gas station is really good to go. Unfortunately, the employees seem to have issues with punctuality and consistency.

What isn't convenient is half of their pumps have been closed down for nearly two months now. I've asked cashiers about it a few times and I've not been given the answer as to why they aren't functioning and when they anticipate them to be up and running. This causes regular and long backed up lines for fuel. Don't wait until the last minute for fuel, you'll be in a tough spot I'll also add for longer than that they only sell 87 grade fuel and diesel. They have free air and free water for your car, too. If the air is down Firestone (right there attached to the shopette) is really good about letting you use their air. Matching the opening hours of the gate, which the gate opens at 0500, would be extremely helpful. Their hours are below: Saturday 7AM-10PM Sunday 8AM-8PM Monday 6AM-10PM Tuesday 6AM-10PM Wednesday 6AM-10PM Thursday 6AM-9:57PM Friday 6AM-10PM It's for sure a good place for fuel, just give yourself some time for the lines. Throughout my visits, I haven't noticed anyone checking ID's if you pay by credit card at the pump, but if you pay with cash inside the shopette, they'll check. It's a bit of a hassle to pay with cash by walking the distance if you have the kids in tow. I will never forget the day I was by myself pumping gas and I panicked when the pump wouldn't stop! It was so scary. I must have touched a lever on the pump that automatically distills gas into your car without handling it. Neat trick but I was freaking out..

Store hours has been cut so it's best to get to the store before the 7pm closing. Also when going into the store...make sure to wear a mask. The store does not carry any alcohol....better go to Malama Market. There's no ATM on the premises...better go to Malama Market. There's no public restroom either...better go elsewhere. Also the store does not sell any musubis, pork hash, manapua, or hot dogs. There's no room for a steamer, warmer, and a hot dog grill. At least Monster and RockStar have their own refrigerators at this location. People can purchase their last minute package beverages, ICEE, ice cream, cigarettes and gasoline at this small convenience store. Types of payment accepted at the store are cash, debit, and credit card. Sorry EBT not accepted at this store. Also customers can purchase the Aloha Petroleum gift card at this store. Aloha gift cards can be used as payment at this shop. There is a air/water machine outside and it costs $1.50 in quarters. You literally hit this gas station five seconds after getting off the highway so its super convenient, However, the configuration of the gas station and adjoining parking lot to Malama Market is designed to ensure that car accidents happen. I have seen so many near misses and fender benders of cars backing out of the lot while cars try to pull into it for gas. This parking lot is also an area for people to drop others off, switch cars, switch drivers, switch children, I have no idea of what is going on here but it sure is very active for being a gas station and parking lot. Note- do not try to get gas here before your morning commute into town, you will be late for work. It's normally packed and you have to wait for the person in front of you to finish filling up before you can go anywhere and sometimes that's 2 cars! Fill up in the evening time.

Ppl think Ethanol gas is less expensive than real gas. Completely not true in more ways than one. I once drove an Ethanol gas-consuming vehicle and let me tell you, it was not a pretty sight. When the vehicle was first new, we filled with regular gas and it worked just fine but soon after ethanol gas became available is when that same vehicle broke down often and engine ran rough like it was grinding away it's short life! So not good! Why?! Because of the Ethanol gas! Ethanol gas contains that additive so is not pure gas! If not yet, the ethanol will eventually do bad things to you car's engine! :( Ethanol-free gas is more efficient and cleaner burning. It may seem like it costs a bit more but the gas mileage you will see will be well worth the price. It will make your car drive more miles = better gas mileage! Hey, if you're half Chinese like me, this matters! Hehe :) Well, if you're not sure, give it a try. No doubt that you will definitely see improved gas mileage pretty instantaneously! :) --- SELF-SERVICE -- As for the service? This is a self-service gas station. You pay at the pump or inside the station kiosk. The attendants usually found inside the kiosk are always very nice and pleasant. CASH = DEBIT = 8¢/gal DISCOUNT -- If you pay cash or use your debit card as cash (you have to let them know you want to use your card as debit), you will receive a discount per gallon. When using your debit card, you will have to guess how much gas you'll need in terms of dollars, pay that amount, then go back into the kiosk for your change if you don't use the entire allotment: - With prices now about $3.05/gal, I usually get $50 to fill my four-door sedan tank. - If you pay cash or by debit, be sure to go back inside the kiosk to get a receipt for your exact purchase. WINDOW WASHING SUPPLIES - If you are needing window washing/wiping accessories (wiping towels, soapy water, and squeegee), find the the dark grey towers located between the gas pumps that double as trash cans. TIRE AIR & WINDOW WASHER WATER EQUIPMENT -- I have never used this equipment but it's on the side of the station nearest Zippy's Waipio (next door).
